The bugaboo donkey is amazing double Pram. It has various combinations with car seats, bassinets and toddler seats. Aswell as buggy board and various changeable hoods etc. It’s convenient and useful and handy to have. Although it is fairly heavy, can b awkward to push if a lot heavier on one side and take a lot of room when folded which can be awkward depending on boot size! Can be tricky to fold at first but easy once you are used to the buggy.

Having kids is a wonderful thing but sometimes outgoings can be a real task! The bugaboo can offer many things other pram can’t but it’s all for a price! I have a 2 year old, 7month old and due another in April. I purchased the pram 2 months before I was due my 2nd, mono mode is great!! The side luggage basket is a dream come true haha! No more trying to find stuff I need under the pram. It’s so much easier to put things to the side then looking for things underneath, I could be at the shops, on the bus or simply strolling along and everything I need can be in front of me!
Duo with a carry cot is no problem! Duo with 2 seats is great as well! Both kids are comfortable either way! My 2yr old is every big and seats are still completely comfortable! One of my worries was the he would last long in it as his size but I was wrong!
When pram is in duo you don’t have the side luggage basket but underneath does open to a reasonable size. Pram in duo mode does fit on busses and threw my doorways which are just the normal size. I’ve never had a problem getting this pram into anywhere, I live in a upstairs flat atm too!!
The chassis seems to be taking to toll of my child’s weight, It seems weaker then it was at the beginning and ave only had it 9months, the bugaboo does come with a warranty.
Considering the size of the pram it does fold up to a reasonable size .
It is easy to push( would have rated 10/10 but always room for improvement)
Family of 1 child or 3 this pram will adapt to your needs( buggy broad for eldest)
It is a very pricey pram to most, I saved and saved for it. I don’t regret purchasing it, I only wish it lasts!
It is a beautiful pram! I wish I got it for my 1st pram !!!

Best pram for toddler and newborn . Can't recommend enough. So much space for all the bags you need to take around and easily changes to a single pram with even no respect within the top basket.

I absolutely adore my bugaboo it's been amazing. I love if I'm just with one of the children I don't have to unpack and repack a single pushchair. It's easy to push with both in too. It's pricey but worth every penny.

This buggy is fabulous in every way apart from the fact that trying to get it in my 7 seater folded, there was just too many pieces and it just didn't fit but I love that you can change the colour of the hoods the seats you can have a car seat carrycot or 2 seats. The seats are a great size even my 6 year old fit in them.

We love our Bugaboo Donkey for our twin boys. It is stylish yet practical, which is obviously essential for twins! I am so glad we went for this side by side rather than a tandem.

I have had this pram for a long time now used it for 3 of my kids and is still in great condition, it's easy to use and very lightweight. I would recommend this pram to anyone with twins or 2 kids of different ages. It's fits in everywhere easy to store away and love that it comes it a variety of colours.
  • 4.13/5
    • Strengths:

This pram pushes wonderfully either as mono or as a double it is so easy to push up and down curbs

    • Weaknesses:

It is so tricky to put up and down and has to be done outside of my house as it is so big.

This is a fantastic looking pram as a double or a single and you have the option to change the fabrics making a whole new look. I love using this pram in single mode as the side basket it wonderful for shopping. The pram is excellent to steer and goes up and down curbs with ease. I find the seats nice and big as my 2 year old daughter is quite tall but is extremely comfortable in it.
Now the bad things i find with this pram is that its so wide it doesn't fit inside my house as a double so have to pop it into mono to keep in my hallway, even folded down its huge.
The underneath basket isnt big at all for a double so its a struggle to get much under there.
The seats dont recline whilst on the pram so if my daughter falls asleep i cant lie her back so this is a pain compared to other models of bugaboo which have this feature on other prams.
Other than the bad points it doesn't put me off at all and i love my donkey.

I love all bugaboo prams when needing a double they are stylish compared to other buggys. The only down side is the size it folds. It's easy to steer and lovely to push. However they are expensive but definitely worth it.

Absolutely love this pushchair for my 2 year old and new born. Easy to fold, steer and lightweight too. Love how it can also be used as a single too.
The only downside is the basket underneath, it's a bit on the small side but I guess as it's a double there will be a compromise somewhere.
  • 4.00/5

I nannyed for a family who had this pushchair. I absolutely love pushing this pushchair as it's easy to steer and is lighter then you think. It has a huge basket, can use as single or double, forward facing, backwards facing, can use from birth to 3 years. It's quite bulky and I had to take all 4 wheels off just to fit it and 2 seats into the back of my Yaris.

    Amazing buggy love it!!
It's heavy and to fold is annoying but going from single to double takes 2 seconds.
Baby and toddler both love it as much as I do.. recommend it "yes" but it's a little on the wide side.

So I have recently purchased the donkey duo I have a one yr old so she is in the seat position which fastens around the waist and over the shoulders all individually and clicks in, which is really good if you have a child like mine who likes to climb out of seats this one she can’t climb out of as you can get a really good tightening on the straps!
I also have my son in the carry cot which is really comfortable and has a mattress at the bottom the suspension really takes all of the lumps and bumps while pushing and he barley moves even when my one he old is kicking off next to him.
The steering on the pram is really good and lives with ease
The only problems I have found is packing it away in the car can be time consuming and you have to take apart to load in the boot.
Also you cannot fit through some single doors of the shops other then this I would highly recxomend

After having & loving our Bugaboo Cameleon 3 for our first child, when I fell pregnant with my second & we knew the gap would be 2 years we would only be
happy with a Bugaboo Donkey for our double buggy!

We opted for a 2nd hand, as we only anticipate needing a double buggy for a year or so, and we know Bugaboo's are built to last we were confident that despite a few bumps & scrapes the buggy would work like new & we weren't wrong.
We brought a set of replacement handlebar covers which made the buggy look new again, and the one of the brilliant features of a Bugaboo is that all the seats are machine washable so with a few washes, it was like new!

In terms of use the Donkey is fantastic, and despite not fitting down all shop aisles very manoeuvrable, as easy as the Cameleon but with a more accessible shopping basket!
In terms of folding, the fold from two to one (which I use every day to get in my front door) is a little sticky sometimes its just a case of making sure each of the 4 bars is fully in/out. And equally when folding for transport it folds down reasonably small (not significantly bigger than the Cameleon) again, you need to make sure every extending part is clicked in before you can fold.
If you have the room for a large double buggy & enjoy getting out & about in parks etc I would 100% recommend the Donkey!

I absolutely love this pushchair! I’m currently using mine for my 13 month old twin girls they always look so comfy and happy in it. I love they can both be side by side, they can face either way and one parent facing and one world facing. I love the different colour packs etc you can buy to make it your own. The push is amazing it’s so smooth and light you wouldn’t think you was pushing two babies. The extendable hoods have also been a lifesaver in this hot weather they cover my girls up better than a parasol could. Only downside I have with this pushchair is the raincovers are a nightmare to put on and then let in rain either side but I’ve now bought the high performance raincovers which are amazing.
I would 100% recommend this to anyone that needs a double or single with the large side basket!
  • 3.88/5

    • Easy to steer
    • Value for money
    • Easy to fold

I was panicking about using a double buggy and convincing myself I would be better off with a single buggy for a newborn and making my just 2 year old walk everywhere! Apart from an initial stumble in a car park where a few other mums had to help me set it up for the first time I have been so impressed with this pushchair . Can easily get around different places and I feel both my children are safe in it. The basket underneath is pretty small but that may change when I’m not using a carrycot over it. It’s also pretty bulky and heavy to lift in a car but I guess that comes with needing a double pushchair!
  • 4.63/5
    • Strengths:

This pushchair is amazing. The build is so strong. So easy to steer. My children are so comfortable.

Bless Fabio are next to none. There pushchairs are built to last.
I love how the donkey steers for the weight of it. My children are very comfortable in the donkey. I think the fabrics are brilliant. Very tough wearing.
The only snag would be the weight of it when opening and putting it down.
  • 4.63/5

Lovely pram and well worth the money... can be tricky to open if pram frame isn’t completely collapsed. Very easy to steer. Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a double... my 2 are 13 months apart so using Cary cot and seat at the same time. Love this pram!

  • 4.63/5
    • Strengths:

The Bugaboo Donkey is worth the investment. It is practical, durable and extremely hard wearing.

    • Weaknesses:

It is a little on the expensive side but worth the investment. Dosnt fit through ‘normal’ doors.

    • Easy to steer
    • Value for money
    • Easy to fold
    • Built to last
The bugaboo donkey is expensive but well worth the investment. When I found out I was expecting twins I knew I had to have a Donkey because the side by side, parent facing position of the carrycots and seats.

The donkey also looks great and I receive regular complements when out and about.

This pram system is versatile, durable and extremely tough and easily withstands the busy life of transporting twins from birth onwards.

Despite being bigger then most tandem style twin prams the Donkey is very easy to menuvre.

I love my Bugaboo Donkey and so do my twins!
  • 4.00/5
    • Strengths:

The key strengths i found with this pram is storage underneath and on side cart, its easy to store

    • Weaknesses:

My only weakness is that when the pram is being used as a double you cannot use tbe side storage bag

    • Easy to steer
    • Value for money
    • Easy to fold
    • Built to last
As a first time mum this is a great system with all the storage that comes with it , it is easy to dismantle and store which is great when your on your own with no help with getting in and out of the car or when you are at home. My only dislike is that when i come to use it as a double pram i loose a key part of the storage.
  • 4.75/5
    • Strengths:

Light and easy to steer, with a huge basket

    • Weaknesses:

Quite bulky for boot, so have to take seat and bag off before folding for boot

    • Easy to steer
    • Value for money
    • Easy to fold
    • Built to last
I have only used on single mode as bought for my first baby, thinking if my family grows I won’t need to get another pram. Using on single mode doesn’t look out of place, it’s not as wide as it looks and can easily get in and out of doors and walk round shops easily.
The basket underneath is easy to access and has plenty of storage, which is perfect when we’ve got a sleeping baby!!! The hood unzips and extends fully which also is great for a sleeping baby.
The foot beak is easy to use and at the wheel so not likely to be pressed on accidentally.
The material is all washable, so I was able to completely strip it after my newborn was sick all over the carrycot.
Only thing that I fee is missing is a peep window to keep an eye on the baby.
  • 4.00/5
    • Strengths:

Can be used and single or double

    • Weaknesses:

Taking down and putting up, raincovers

    • Easy to steer
    • Value for money
    • Easy to fold
    • Built to last
I have been using my donkey for a few month now at first as a single for my one year old and now as a double with my newborn there are a few negatives i have found one being it is a nightmare to put the raincovers on it takes me at least 5 mins to but just one on also putting the pram up and down in double mode you have to remove seats and fold frame separate there is also a lot of positives with the pram a few i can mention are you can change the colours of all the fabrics so can have it for both girls and boys in single mode you have a handy side basket as well as a basket underneath the seat units are specious
  • 4.50/5
    • Strengths:

      It's stylish, and simple.

    • Weaknesses:

      Raincovers

    • Easy to steer
    • Value for money
    • Easy to fold
    • Built to last
I love this pram, my boys are side by side which means I can see them both at once, it's simple and easy to use, the one big downfall is the fiddly raincovers, they are a nightmare, they stick together and I feel twist the hoods out, not convenient with two kids and rain, they also don't have much leg room as my boys are really tall.

Description

With 2 young children, anything that makes life easier is worth its weight in gold. Going out with two can often present a dilemma and you need a means of safely and comfortably doing so. The Bugaboo Donkey 2 Duo / Mono is the ultimate doubles answer, whatever ages you are catering for. It is versitile because it is readily convertible, with 17 different configurations, thanks to its interchangeable seats and bassinets, and flexible luggage options.

You can also reverse the seats so your children can face you, the world or each other. In just 3 simple click steps it can convert from a duo to a mono pushchair. And, in duo it is only 5.4 inches wider than mono, so you can still navigate through doors and relatively small places with ease.
