We have had our system for 4 years and is putting up with off road, heavy use. The basket is very useful, especially when using the pram and as a travel system it works great with the car seat, and with adaptors for others. It is quite heavy and the steering is not very good on uneven ground but great around shops. Folds up quite big so need a big boot or be prepared for shopping on the back seat

We love this pram, I’m currently using it for my second child and it’s still as strong as the first time I used it 4 years ago. We love how you can attach the car seat (this is fab for school runs) and the seat unit to the chassis using simple adapters.

This travel system is good quality and definitely built to last. It is stylish and can be used in an array of terrains. It can be used from birth with the carry cot and the main seat can be both parent and world facing. Downside is that it is quite heavy and large, making it difficult to store.

Great pram and excellent value for money. Sturdy yet stylish which makes it perfect for city living with weekend country activities. The height adjustable handlebar is great for when my husband pushes the pram.
The car seat can be a bit tricky to unclip at times, however after a couple of times it’s easy to get into a routine of how to do it.

I have the silvercross pioneer in sky blue . I have used so many different prams with my first until I come across the pioneer I stuck with it . It’s light weight /easy to push and can hold newborn to toddlers so no need to change prams in my experience they hold a lot more weight then it says it can I have my first on the buggy board and he weighs a ton lol and I have my 3 month newborn in the car seat or the seat unit depending on wheather I’m in the car or not . I never used the carry cot outside but looks nice and fits well I just use it as a little cot at night for him to sleep in as he hates the Moses basket but seems to like the carrycot
I love how they have a good range of colours and how bright and bold they are the design of the pram is just beautiful to

I love my Pioneer travel system. The chassis is easy to assemble upon purchase, and to collapse/put up when using.
The car seat is comfy and well padded. Straps can be adjusted easily to ensure a good fit for your growing baby. The only issue I have with the car seat is it can be a little fiddly to take in & out of the chassis at first.
The carrycot section of the pram is very cosy. My baby is just 5 months and has outgrown it so didn’t get quite as long as I’d expected from this.
The pushchair section picks up nicely where the carry of leaves off due to the lie flat option. We have an extra insert for the pushchair to provide a bit more padding for little one. The only problem I can think of is the cosy toes doesn’t leave much room for baby’s legs so will have to look for another option when he’s a bit bigger.
My Pioneer has been just about everywhere since my son was born and I have no complaints. It’s easy to manoeuvre and copes well with bumpy terrain. I can see it lasting for many years due to the quality of build and materials.

Easily changeable to each different function.
Could do with longer extensions for those over 6 foot
Very durable, the chassis is solid
Covers are all easily washed and removed
    Looked very comfortable for baby
Would have preferred a car seat with more of a Reclined back but still did the job

I love this travel system, its the only one i found with a carry cot long enough for my extremely long baby, i also like how the seat unit can be parent or world facing and has 3 different recline settings. The colour pack (hood and apron) are changable so if you were to have another child and wanted a different colour you can just buy a new colour pack rather than a new pram. The basket is quite big so fits plenty in. The only downside is the handle is easily tearable.

We had the special edition pioneer pushchair and we absolutely loved it. We go for lots of long walks with the dog and the pushchair handled the different terrains easily. It was easy to put up and down, the only downside is it took quite a bit of room up in the boot of the car.

I have LOVED this pram from the get go...
It is so easy to put together and it looks amazing.
Steering this is amazing... I have quite often been in the supermarket feeding my little one, pushing this around the shops one handed.

We love ours in electric blue. So easy to steer, easy to fold, easy to ad adapters for maxi cosi. Probably takes 30 second to take down and fold. I wish you could fold it with the seat unit on without the seat unit sticking up.

This pushchair is very nice on the eye, you can get a carry cot and car seat to match this puchair turning it into a travel system. Im not keen on this pushchair because a couple of reasons, 1. To push on a smooth surface it is very smooth, but thats where ypir journey ends, the small wheels and springs make it hard to push on any other surface. 2. When folded the pushchair is still very bulky and hard to store. The pushchair can work out pricey and not worth it in my opinion.

Beautiful pram that I have received so many compliments for. Very easy to fold away and put in the car or under the stairs. My daughter finds it incredibly comfortable - so much so she falls asleep before we get to the end of the estate! I have recommended it to several friends who have loved this product too! The price was definitely a plus as we managed to get the car seat with it and in a sale which was an added bonus! The only down point is that it can be quite bulky when it is folded away and both parts of the pram do not fit in all sizes of cars!
  • 4.50/5
    • Strengths:

The pram was easy to push. It was super comfy for my little one. The carrycot was soft and padded.

We love our pram, we have the carrycot and seat unit. Both are super comfy for little ones. With seat liners and cosy toes too. All fabrics are high quality and built to last. We found this pram easy to fold. It is quite chunky for the car but this wasn’t a problem for us. We loved using this for daily life as the shopping basket was large so could fit everything in!

I bought this pram before I had my daughter in August 2016 and I’m still using it now for my 17 month old son! I have used and used it and definitely had my money’s worth out of it! It’s been a really good pram very sturdy and durable. It’s very well made and a good quality pram! I’ve used the pram in all configurations, clipping the car seat on was always handy when popping out especially if the baby was asleep! The carry cot is very roomy and cosy they always looked happy when in it! The pushchair seat also looks very comfy with plenty of room in it (my 3 year old daughter still fits in it). The customer services with silver cross is impeccable and I can not fault it! The zip on the cosy toes broke after a few uses and silver cross replaced it with no issues! I have always felt that the baby is safe and comfortable in the pram and the only weakness I can think of is that the cosy toes doesn’t last very long as the baby grows it gets too small quickly! But part from that I’ve never had any issues with it!! I would and have recommended it to many people!!

What a brilliant pram. I have had it 2 and a half years. Its good for walking off the beaten path, we walk in the woods quite a lot with the dogs and it's been nice to be able to take the pram.
It folds easily and fits in my car which is a kia sportage and my mother in laws which is a vauxhall corsa so it's quite compact when folded down.
The transition between car seat, bassinet and pushchair is really easy and the hood and footmuff is easily changed.
The basket at the bottom is very roomy. It's lovely to push and easy to manoeuvre around shops etc. The only thing I would say is that the hood is a bit hard to take off to clean but other than that the pram has been amazing value for money.

The Silver Cross Pioneer is a great 3 in 1 pram. It is extremely easy to interchange between the Simplicity car seat, Moses basket and the stroller. It provides style and comfort for your baby. The large wheels allow you to push it on different terrains with ease. The large basket underneath has plenty of space to keep items in or to go shopping with. It is easy to fold and put away however, as it is large you need a large space in your car or house to keep it in which isn’t always convenient. I haven’t found this much of a problem and I wouldn’t highly recommend this product to anybody who wants a fantastic pram.

The pram is very well build. The carry cot is very spacious but I find that the handle is in a way and i cannot see my baby's face when i am pushing the pram (maybe it is because of my height, i am 5'3). The pram is very easy to push but the downside of it the plastic wheels. Going over bumpy surfaces is not the most comfortable for my baby. My favourite part about the pram is a very spacious shopping bag

I just love my Silver Cross Pioneer! I’ve got the full Travel System for my Daughter! She settles in it all the time! They only thing is it’s a bit heavy when putting it in & out of the car. Looks awesome & the alloy wheels look the part! Large basket which is great for shopping. Just love it! Silver Cross is a trust worthy brand & made to last. I’ve got an old coach built Silver Cross Pram & its 38yrs old.
