Lovely pushchair, but have some downs as well. Tricky to fold. Once you learn how to fold is ok, but to start is very tricky. Big seat and big hood, that's a big plus for us. Massive shopping basket makes my life easy. Break very easy to use as well. Extendable handle perfect for me, because I am 6 foot, so nice fit.

• Strengths:

Sturdy, easy fold, great colours, built to last, big basket, large hood.

A tad heavy, adaptors for car seat needed, stiff to steer/manoeuvre

I had the older style flip for my first born years ago so knew it was quality and well built. This time I got the flip XT as I felt it was great value for money.
It is built to last and has a good size seat for baby and toddlers comfort. Love the extra large hood for shade and comes in good selection of colours.
It is a bit on the heavy side but full travel system that are lightweight yet sturdy I found were not that easy to come by at a reasonable price. It is a bit heavy to steer to which if you are doing one handed can be difficult. It is however easy to fold and fits nicely in my boot. I have a maxi cosy car seat and it is a bit annoying constantly having to put on and take if adaptors when putting down as this can’t be done with it on. Love the fact you can fold the pushchair with the seat unit on though and that it is parent and world facing.

We ordered this pushchair as part of a travel system for our.little one who is now 2 and a half. It has lasted so well that we will be using it for the new baby also.

I chose this pushchair I initially due to the limited edition print that was available but found it to be a great pushchair. While it only has 3 recline positions they work from birth, being able to have your baby in a more relaxed position to being fully upright. The hood is huge so you get great sun shade for them or if you are only a few minutes from being indoors and the rain starts it is big enough to keep baby covered until you get there.

The basket is huge and holds a decent amount for when you need to walk to the shops and it folds really easy and can be done with one hand. I also loved that it can be parent and world facing and have regularly used it both ways. It is large and roomy enough that my oldest still has plenty of room in it.

My only grumps with this pushchair is that there is no bumper bar available to allow for attachmen of toys and books to keep babies entertained and the break is a tiny pedal on one side of the pushchair which can be problematic when getting on a bus and the break is at the side you can't reach with your foot.

All in all though its a great pushchair and I would buy it again if I needed a replacement although I might upgrade to the flipxt2 for the bumper bar

Good quality pram, easy to fold down so make sure it’s easier when traveling on public transport.

The pram folds down and is a good size so doesn’t take up to much room in the boot of the car and is easy to put down when going on the bus or train. I like that you can have baby facing both ways so when you take baby out it can still be a bonding time for you and baby. The basket underneath the pram is very big and fits a good amount in so don’t have to worry to much about having to carry bags while pushing the pram.

Bought this when travelling alone with my 20 month old. Was sturdy and comfy for him to sleep in and also easy to transport. One handed fold and easy to carry. Huge hood for napping out of the sun and also lays almost fully flat. Basket holds loads.

This pushchair is great investment as part of a travel system. I use mine with the bassinet and a cybex car seat.
Now on baby number 2 and it still looks as stylish as the first time I used it.
The one handed fold is amazing especially when out and about on your own. However, the frame still takes up a lot of room in the boot and the weight of the frame alone is quite heavy so this should be considered when trying the pushchair.

Overall I am very impressed with this pushchair and glad of the choice I made three years ago!

We got the gorgeous plum colour, fabric and padding is beautiful. Easy to fold and smaller than you'd expect for full pushchair (with seat). Can fold easy with one hand with baby in one arm too!!! Always a plus. One of biggest seats I've seen... I've tried a few with lots of nieces and nephews previous to having new baby.

We did have to get repaired. Hood wouldn't stay up.. would fold down when baby laid flat. Was told batch was all same?? I'm not convinced. The wheels don't do well being used over rough terrain each day (ours bowed outwards) and the handle was leaning downward to the right. All this was corrected when took to shop though ??

I love the pushchair when have to do my shopping too as huge basket.. Bigger than it looks. I won't be deterred by few faults that can be fixed easily

This is my favourite pushchair/pram I’ve had by far (and trust me I’ve had quite a few to say I have 2 children! )
I have it in dark navy and I’ve had lots of compliments on it. I love the look of it, it’s a dream to steer even with one hand. The best part is the fold. It folds in one baby facing parent or visa versa. (The fold is a bit more compact with it facing out) You can fold with one hand, but it’s a bit heavy to pick up once folded.
The basket is huge, I can keep the baby bag under plus shopping.
The seat is massive and my 4 year old can still fit in it. The recline is great, both my boys have napped great in it.
The hood is massive and has a peekaboo window with magnetic clasp so it doesn’t disturb baby.
I would definitely recommend this pushchair / travel system.

I recently bought this for baby number two as I couldn’t stand having to remove the seat everytime I folded the pram up to go in the boot with our first pram. We ended end buying a stroller as soon as we could. This one looks like it will last a lot longer as it folds so easy there’s no reason to want to get rid of it quicker. The wheels on this are also much more compact than a lot of brands so it fits into my car boot (fiesta) where a lot of them had no chance. I got a good deal on precious little ones on the green and grey combo so if you are buying check out if any colours are cheaper. I got the package with the carry cot too for the newborn stage although the normal chair can also be used from birth as it lies flat although you might want to get a cocoon/footmuff if it’s the colder months for a bit more protection if using with the carry cot for a newborn. Overall love this pram so far!

Easy to fold, and can fold with seat in parent facing position which makes life quick and easy.

We bought this travel system in 2016 when we had our son. It's a lovely system, beautifully made and good quality. Our son loves his buggy and always seemed comfortable.
There is just over a 2 year age gap between our son & daughter and as a result discovered that the biggest downside to the flip xt is that it doesn't have a tandem seat. We've added a buggy board with seat but I'd ideally have preferred a proper seat on the buggy - an option like those available on similar priced travel systems.

Thrilled with this lovely buggy. Used for both my niece and nephew and now my beautiful daughter. Lovely bright colours to choose from. A hood that pulls all the way down to protect baby from the sun with a peep hole and the top for parents to check on little ones. Really easy to fold and unfold with baby in arms. Back reclines to 3 different heights. My little one loves it.

Love this pushchair!! I bought this as a bundle so go the carry cot car seats / isofix etc. It’s so easy to put up and down, you can do it with one hand. Easy to swap seat around so it’s forward or rear facing. Big enough basket on the bottom. Easy to take off to clean. Easy steering.
Really think highly of this pushchair.

Purchased this pram as a spare for grand parents also used it abroad as our holiday pram.
I personally hate the umbrella fold so when my daughter out grew her I Candy travel system this was the perfect next pram sturdy frame built to last (its been thrown around luggage halls when we've gone abroad) massive hood to keep rain or sun off baby and lays completely flat so new born can use it stright away fab for napping older babies / toddlers.
Massive plus point the chair and frame all fold as one piece gray for car boots

Got this pram for my little boy as he is a few months old, he loves it, nice and padded and comfy for him to sit in. This pram is extremely difficult to push, has no suspension in the wheels, so when you go over a slight bump it stops, jolting the pram. Other than that i love it it folds super compact which is good for my boot.

I bought this pushchair as my original one was too heavy and didn’t allow my 2month old to be able to sit up as she screams when she can’t see what’s going on. I tried the Priam in store with my baby in it and already she seemed much happier and comfier even when she is laid down she is much comfier. The hood is such a bonus as it comes almost all the way down and covers my baby from the sun which means I don’t have to use a parasol which is a big thing for me. The one real issue I have is it doesn’t come with a footmuff and as my baby is only 2 months it’s a real issue especially with winter coming so I’ve had to order one. There is also nowhere to put pram toys as they slip off the hood and there’s no bumper bar who I can’t have a bumper toy either. Other than that it’s easy to push and folds flat which makes it easier to get in and out of the car.

This is a really nice looking pushchair. It’s parent and world facing and easy to convert. It folds flat. It was definitely an upgrade from the Mee-go Milano (worst pushchair ever - so dangerous!) It feels sturdy. Lies flat for when baby is sleeping. Large hood, but you will require an extender hood or a parasol for sun protection.

The hood broke after a couple of weeks but Mamas and Papas replaced it. Had to ask 4 times because the staff at Westfield Stratford were too incompetent to order it. I called customer service and they arranged for a replacement to be delivered to Westfield White City instead. It was easy to fit myself. When I said the hood was broke, they didn’t argue or ask for proof, they just ordered me another one.

Good company. The wheels on this are really hard so unless you’re pushing it on smoothe ground, baby does get bumped around quite a bit - especially when asleep in the lay flat position. It’s a nice pram but if you want Mamas and Papas, I’d recommend the Ocaro. I replaced my flip xt2 with the BabyStyle Hybrid.

This buggy has been my favourite purchase as a parent so far. We used the carry cot from birth and was really roomy until my son decided lying down wouldn't do. I love the fact that little one can remain parent facing comfortably for as long as you decide. He's two now and still prefers to be parent facing and have a chat whilst walking. Easily washable. Shower resistant. The hood is great and covers the whole seat if you forget a rain cover little.one won't get wet. Easy fold and not too heavy post c section to lift. It will be used for baby number 2 and has stood the test of time!

We have the three bears design which is lovely to look at. The pram has good storage, I can fold it one handed with the seat (haven’t used it yet) and it just fits in my boot with the carry cot.
Just wish it had a bumper bar and it’s hard to push one handed and the turn circle isn’t great. Although the Handle at the top of the carry cot means I can hang a toy for him.
The normal seat. Has a brilliant canopy for lots of shade.
I haven’t had to use the rain over yet
We have the cup holder which I have to take off and on again when stored.

We bought this pushchair as it was a decent one with a quite a good price too. There are things that are great, but there are things that I hate about this pushchair. Let's start with strengths:
+really good, big hood, comes nearly all the way down.
+good size basket (when fitted properly)
+easy to steer
+made out of really nice fabric (dark navy)
+looks good

Weaknesses:
- very stiff, especially on the bumpy pavement
- No bumper bar - didn't think it would be an issue but without one, my son doesn't look comfortable as he can't hold onto anything and ends up leaning on one side strapped onto the seat
- 3 reclining positons:
1. Lie flat
2. Lie half way
3. Completely up
I really do think there should be another position between lying and fully up, as my son doesn't look comfortable on any of those. No.2 is too low (as low as the baby bouncer) and the no.e is too upright. Baby ends up leaning forward all the time.

It's a good pushchair for it's price although I don't think I would buy it again.

Have used this with carrycot from birth and am impressed with ability to go on various terrains. Recently moved onto the push chair attachment and glad to be able to fold down into one piece. Quite large. Would be good if the hood was able to come fully down in all positions but is only possible when little one is upright. Feels sturdy and has a good basket below. Right side foot brake.

We got the armadillo flip xt 2 as part of a bundle deal off precious little ones which saved us a few hundred pounds. We had tested a few pushchairs but this one was our favourite. We especially liked the leather handle, comfy seat, compact fold and large basket. We chose the cloud grey and we get a lot of compliments. Our daughter has only just outgrown the carrycot at 5.5 months, we have used the carrycot itself a couple of times when we have been away and it has been very comfortable for her to sleep in overnight.
Really easy steering and easy to remove wheels to wash them if you've been on a muddy track etc. Covers come off really early and go in the wash to come out looking like new. Only downside we have found is that the chassis scratches and scuffs really easily even when we've been extra careful with it. Also, it can take a fair few goes to perfect putting the pushchair down with the "flip" needed but once you've mastered it it is very easy. We have the Maxi Cosi car seat and adaptors which have made life easier for those short journeys when you don't want to wake baby up for a 10min pop in a shop or into school to collect a sibling. A very good buy and we are very happy with our choice.
