My children (and I) have really enjoyed using the litecup. The cup looks nice. I thought it might have been heavy as it looks sturdy but it it is really light.
My eldest (2 years old) calls it the magic cup, and he was really excited when it arrived and I showed him it glowing in the dark.He thought I had given him glow in the dark water. He has been using it for the water we take to bed with him and it has been great. The light is soft but strong enough to be comforting and to help him locate his cup in the dark. He finds it easy to drink from and we have never had any leaks.
I have also started using it with my younger son who has just turned 6 months. He loves holding the cup. The lightcup baby version that we have been using has handles that aren't directly opposite each other- this makes like it makes it easier for him to hold. He can bring it up to his mouth well but hasn't got the hang of sucking from it to get the water to come up from underneath the rubber rim. We'll definitely keep persevering though.
The biggest issue we have is remembering to remove the light base before washing. I appreciate this isn't so much a flaw with the cup- but definitely something to consider before buying it if you are someone in a rush and tired when washing up! The cup separates into a few parts for washing but they aren't fiddly and they are very easy to put back together.
The cup is more expensive than the most other sippy cups but I think that the price is justified as it serves as a useful nightlight too.
