We were really excited to receive this beautiful dinner set and it didn't disappoint. The set comes in a beautifully presented box making it perfect for a gift too. The set had a plate, cup, bib, fork and spoon. The plate is a good size and also has lovely deep edges making it easier for little one to scoop onto the cutlery. The plate however moves around the table easily. The cup is a perfect size for small children and seems easy for them to control I have used others but they spill whereas this didn't. The bib was a big highlight I love the way it has a bead effect fastening making it easier to put on but also the range of sizes you can make it. most bibs just have 3 clasps but this had the whole beaded section. The fork and spoon are also fantastic they are really deep making it easier to scoop food up onto and putting into the mouth. A lot of other cutlery does not have this and my little girl has always struggles with food falling off before she can eat it but now can do it herself and she is so happy. The whole set is really easy to clean and overall is a great set that I would highly recommend the only downside is also the price it is a little expensive but lovely all the same.

This set is something special! It comes in a lovely presentation box. It oozes sophistication- it’s rather snazzy for a feeding set.
I was delighted to find that I’d been sent the set in the ‘powder green!.’
Please note that little one (LO) is 10 months old and she’s not yet holding her cutlery and she drinks from a sippy cup or a straw bottle. We’ve been using this set for every meal for the last 7days. .
The bib has a large scoop to collect food that doesn’t make the mouth. I love the pearl like neckline. This is a really clever design, as it ensures a very close fit, unlike the other popular branded bib we use, which will now be made redundant. The bib covers a good amount of the chest, minimising mess and splatter. My daughter thought the bib was fantastic, she’s cutting her top teeth and apparently it doubles as a teething aid (the pearl neckline). The bib goes over LOs shoulders for a close fit. This is what I find you have to compromise on with other bibs. The bib is really good at catching food and LO can reach into it and pick up the food if she wanted to eat it.
My LO isn’t keen on holding her own cutlery, however the spoon and fork are short and stumpy, great for small hands. LO can grip them with ease, I was surprised that she wanted to try eating with her spoon. I find the spoon a little on the large side- it’s wide for her small mouth, she tends to tip it in sideways or turn the spoon upside down. The same goes with the fork, it’s too large to fit fully in her mouth, but great for her to grip.
LO tried drinking from the cup (with me holding it), we had a bit of spluttering. As I said, she’s only 10 months old, so we’ll keep trying. It is a lovely cup, it feels weighty and I can imagine quite hard to knock over as the base is of a large surface area. It’s useful that the cup has measurement marks on it, so you can monitor liquid intake. It’s a lovely cup.
The plate lastly is a sort of ‘primrose’ shape. It has a rubbery bottom which helps stop it moving around your child’s high chair tray. It has a high rim so that LO can successfully chase food around the plate. It’s a plate-come- bowl, so it’s suitable for cereal or foods of a more fluid consistency. I like that you can pop the inner part of the plate out to wash it. It’s likely to stain if foods such as curry, turmeric, pesto-orange, reds and greens are left too long. I always made sure I washed the set quickly after use.
All in all, this feeding set is great and we will continue using the bib and spoon for every meal. The bib is by far the best bib we have used and I love how LO can see down into it and pick out and finish the food she missed the first time. The bib also grows with baby as the neckline fastening is cleverly designed . I’m sure with some practice my LO will be using the fork and cup soon enough, as her feeding skills get better everyday.
Thanks Consobaby, we loved testing this set!

I absolutely LOVE the colour first off, lovely little gift set packaged lovely - very neutral and classic. The set is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I love the bib.. it’s made from a sturdy plastic so has been a godsend to a mum who has a baby who likes to chew his normal bib which is a nightmare usually when trying to navigate food in.. you can’t do it with this bib. He was frustrated the first time we put the bib on about this but has since got used to it. The bib is deep and like I said a hard plastic but it is soft around the neck and easy to unclip - I love the bib! The bowl is pretty big and perfect for self feeding with sections for different foods however I didn’t find that the plate stuck to the high chair and it did find itself being thrown on the floor a few times by my boy so I can safely say it’s hard wearing ? The spoon was really easy for him to grip and mummy found it nice to hold and he had no problems with eating off the spoon. I am still having trouble getting him to take water or juice in anything but gave it a go in this cup he took a little bit but will definitely persevere with it I also gave it to him the set is easy to grip and he had no problem holding it and gave it a go. When my husband washed up later he did ask about the “dog bowl” (we have no dog..that’s what he thought it looked like ?) negatives: wish the bowl stuck to the high chair, also wish it came with a knife for longevity through to toddler hood , also a cover would be practical as well for the bowl. All in all this is a lovely little set which with a couple of adjustments would definitely be one of those mummy must haves. However I think this would make ideal practical baby shower, Christening or a baby gift and would be something I would buy; I have lots of friends I know would love this. Thumbs up from me

I really loved this Baby Bjorn Dinner set when it arrived to be tested and reviewed, it came in a large pretty gift box, when you open the box (slides out) you are immediately presented with how cute this dinner set is, straight away without even removing the dinner set from the box you can see that it is going to be very practical you can tell it is well made.

From first use, my baby loved this dinner set, the bowl has sensibly been designed not to slip or slide off a table, because it has a well designed base. The spoon and fork are made with a rubbery grip material to prevent baby dropping them, making there grip better, especially when my baby has got wet hands from playing with her food. The cup is great, I had never thought to let me baby use a cup she had been using a sip cup to prevent accidental spills which are inevitable, this cup has an anti slip base with a lip to stop it slipping and sliding, making it easier for baby to place her cup back down. The bib is soooo cute, its also really practical with the catching section at the base, the neckline looks like a pearl necklace which my baby loves as she is always jealous of my necklaces! I love how mummy friendly this gift set is, as the items are easily cleaned in the dishwasher keeping it hygienic. It feels really well made, and I would like to buy another set so I always have a spare, the only downside is that it is quite expensive on the Baby Bjorn website at £32.99.

This set is great for a present for someone as it comes in a beautiful box and is really nicely presented. My favourite part of the set is the spoon I initially thought it would be too wide for baby but when we used it we found it to be the perfect shape and he found it easy to eat from. The plate is a nice size and shape and washes well either hand wash or dishwasher. I did find though that it easily moves around the table so a little more grip would be good. My son is only 10 months so he needs help when drinking from an open cup to hold it right but he managed to drink fine and the funnel shape meant there wasn't too much liquid in it at one time. The bib wasn't a hit with my son. It is a solid shape and clashed with his high chair which he found annoying and tried to pull it off every time I tried it. I think the bib it's self is a really good design and love the clasp (it is a nice alternative to velcro) but just didn't work for us. I would say the set is worth its money if its a present for someone. I wouldn't recommend it to baby lead weaning mums though as although the spoon is perfect if you are feeding them or for when they are older and can use a spoon, it was too wide for my son to feed himself at his age now (he turns the spoon upside down to get the food off and it was just to wide to turn), also the plate, as it has no grip to the table it was easily picked up and thrown on the floor. The cutlery was a nice size and shape handle for little hands though so I suppose if you have a well behaved little person then these points wouldn't be an issue :)
