My baby is only 4 months, so this toy is to big for her. She can't grab it or put into the mouth. It's colourful and looks nice, but I can see big interest, maybe she is still to small for it.

This toy is excellent for all ages. It's colourful, engages baby's attention and can entertain for a hours!! My baby loves the noise and has me tipping up and down for ages! However, it's a bit heavy and bulky for younger babies to grip a hold of.

I showed my baby this in the shop and she fell in love, but I got home and then she kept crying every time I turned it, after a short while though she liked it again and has done so ever since, she rolls it when she is having tummy time, but it is only a short term play toy before she looses interest and wants to play with something else. But it is a good toy and as she gets older she can use it as a musical toy so I think it is worth the purchase

Lo loves this toy early on when I used to hold it over her whilst on her play gym. Lo is 13 months now and still likes to play with it from time to time.
Good colour to stimulate baby. Like the noises. Overall a winner.

We got given this second hand and this is it's 3rd child who has played with this toy. It's still in great condition so seems really hard wearing. I think it's a great toy which little one finds facinating. The colours and noise it makes are fab! I think the price seems very reasonable.

For some reason my 3 year old finds this toy particularly entertaining. She loves to shake it around and watch, it's almost hypnotising at times. Even the 4 month old likes it.

My daughter loved this toy, it is great as their senses are developing. She started off loving to hear it, and through the months she started to love to play with it herself watching the coloured balls fall through the holes. It is a great product, made to last all of her throws and drops!

Little one absolutely loves watching the beads in this rainmaker and the noise of it soothes him when he is starting to get restless. He is 4 months now and is good at holding and picking thinhs up but it is still a bit too large for him to use himself so may be another few months before he can use it properly unaided. I would still recommend at any age though!

Me and my son love the rainmaker! He found it fascinating to watch from he was a tiny baby - and the sound feel seemed to soothe him if he was getting grumpy! It wasn’t easy to hold for him until he was around 5/6 months - some way of making grasping it easier would make it even better!

This is the favourite toy of our baby who is almost 5 months now. She loves looking at it at any stage. It’s great for tummy time & very relaxing. The sound it makes & the colours keep her mesmerised for very long periods! It would be great if a thinner one was created so she could hold it in her hand properly.

Our girls absolutely love this toy and I've used it on many occasions to calm them down when they're crying. It manages to hold their attention for ages at times! They've also started to now hold it (helped by grippy rings) and turn it over themselves.

This rainmaker has lots of balls in it unlike some which only have a few. It's very noisy which attracts baby attention easily and keeps them mesmerized. The different colours also attracts their eye and the different chambers means you have to move it to move the balls which also keeps their attention and helps them learn cause and effect.

My little girl loves this even from a very young age she would get so excited every time you tipped it over. She can now do it her self and when ever we get her sensory basket out she goes straight to this toy. Its perfect for little hands to grip and light enough for the to turn it over them selves. Its also very eye catching and colourful which is always something we look for in toys.

    We discovered rainmakers at physiotherapy.
It’s great for getting the lo to ‘follow’.
Also seems to soothe her when upset or bored.
Is a bit smaller than others I have seen.

I have one of these for my son and he isn't too interested in it. He enjoys when I tip it and make sounds, and has learnt to shake it to make noise, however he loses interest quickly in it as there is no other bits to it to encourage exploration. I wouldn't recommend buying this for the price it sells at.

Our son loves toys like this. Whilst this toy is expensive and not necessarily value for me, it has definitely entertained him. This one is very colourful and makes a calming rain-like noise. He finds it easy to hold and shake, although I was weary about him hitting himself to begin with, he didn’t seem bothered when he did. He particularly likes to stand it up and knock it back down!

My baby is mesmerised when I shake this for him- he is just fascinated with it. It was received as a gift and he loves it, however aa he's only 4 months I don't let him hold it himself yet as don't want him to hurt himself on the hard plastic- not put as a negative though as is clearly advertised for 6 months plus and he loves watching it.

We were giving one of these as a Christmas present. It's a great little toy and really engaging and colourful. However, for the price it is, it is not very exciting and certainly doesn't justify it. Despite that it keeps my little girl entertained for quite a while.

My little boy loved this rattle the most out of that many that he had. It’s easy for little hands to grasp, and before they can grip if you stand it up they can push t over..... hours of fun it really entertains them. It is strong and sturdy which gives me confidence that the item is safe despite having lots of little plastic beads inside. This rattle really keeps their interest and it’s a toy you can play with together. It is quite heavy for really little babies and it is a bit on the expensive side. Overall though o think it is worth it.
