I would 100% recommend this set for every baby. We started a baby sensory class at about 10 weeks old and they used something similar in the first session, both me and another mum bought one as soon as we got back from class because the babies loved them! I remember the first time my son shook the maraca on his own, it was a very proud Mum moment! He’s now 7 months and we still play with this nearly every other day. He finds the trumpet hilarious for some reason, he can’t blow it himself but giggles so much when we blow it! He hasn’t figured out the symbols by himself yet either but we do it together so he can still feel the vibration when they hit together.

    Pros
Everything in the kit is small enough for the baby to hold, even with tiny 10 week old hands.
There’s so many different sounds that baby stays interested for a long time
The different shapes and way of holding things help work on babies grip
No negatives at all just make sure baby is supervised at all time because they tend to like putting the drumsticks to the back of their mouths
