As I don't own a freezer I have had to put these in the fridge. Which is great but obviously loose there cold quite quickly. And although I never used them on my breats as my health visitor suggested against it they are very useful for bumps and bruises

A little pricey but I got my use out of them. They really do give great relief! Heating and cooling for whatever you needed. They lasted well too.
I even used them when on my period and had aching breasts. I’d buy again.

This is absolutely must have buy! More likely you'll use them for very short time in early days of breastfeeding but they give such a relief. I personally would not survived without them! Can be used as a cold or hot compression!

These are so easy to use, heat up in seconds in a pot of warm water and offer instant relief. In the early days when you're very tender, the heat really helps soothe any aches, pains and throbby bits. When heated it also helps stimulate your milk supply, which can be a lifesaver especially if your milk takes a while to come in. When thrown in the freezer these take an hour or so to really chill down, then popped into their lovely, soft pouches, these special ice packs can also help ease the pain of early BF or mastitis. A fantastic product- I bought a set for all my new mummy friends!

I like this product as it can be used cold or hot.
I keep one in the freezer and use the other one before I nurse. The cold one to relieve the pressure between feeds
It comes in a small pad cover easy to use and slip under the bra.
    Great product

Description

The Philips AVENT Breastcare Thermo Pads help stimulate and soothe painful breasts. Use them warm to stimulate milk flow before feeding or cool to sooth sore or engorged breasts.

The product includes soft sleeves which you can dampen to use with the heated pad as moist heat gives extra comfort and helps milk stimulation.

Alternatively keep your Philips AVENT Breastcare Thermo pads in your refrigerator or freezer then place them in the soft sleeves for use after breastfeeding.

This product has been developed with a midwife and baby adviser who has been supporting breastfeeding mothers for 15 years.
