We really like this car seat as it has been straight forward for us to use & get used to as first time parents. It’s easy to carry to & from our car & also easy enough to secure into the car. We like the fact that we can use this in any car as there is no need for a base so we have been able to use it in our parents car. I like the simple design of this car seat my only complaint is that the hood can be stiff to put down sometimes but hopefully that will become easier as we use it more often. - Strengths:

This is so easy to use and easy to clean however it is slightly cumbersome and clunky.
I do find the head hugger and the wedge a little difficult to use but our 3 week old seems fairly comfortable in the car seat.
I'm not sure this is our forever car seat but it's working well for us currently. - Strengths:

The fastening of the baby is great, easy to do. The newborn insert comes out easily as the baby grows. The seat is light in weight, it was the lightest of all the car seats we looked at.
The seat states up to 12 months but our 8 month old boy is already too big as his feet come out the end and the head cosy part isn't high enough (our baby is not really that big). - Strengths:

This car seat is great. Very light weight, seems very comfortable for baby and is very easy to fit in and out of the isofix base in the car. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is quite stiff when it comes to fastening baby in. - Strengths:

Love our maxi cosi car seat, very comfy for baby, however very heavy once baby starts to grow, I guess that will be the same for most of these designs. Would definitely have one again though. - Strengths:

This car seat is excellent for newborns and upper ages. It can be used up until 12 months with or without the cosy insert. The straps are easy to adjust, insert for newborns for extra comfort. Can have a sun canopy attached for the summer months and universal rain covers fit perfectly. Price is very reasonable, the quality is very good. However, the buttons to adjust the handle become sticky and can be a challenge when you don't have an isofix base. - Strengths:

This is the first time we have used maxi cosi as we thought they were a bit pricey but thought we would try it for our daughter as it was the one recommended for our travel system and so glad we did it is the comfiest car seat we have had and keeps baby in a better position then most others would highly recommend - Strengths:

We are now using our cabriofix for our second child. It’s a great car seat that works well both with Maxi Cosi isofix bases and seatbelts, plus has been compatible with nearly every travel system we have encountered. The sunshade hidden in the back is so handy, as is the storage compartment at the rear of the seat. The only downside I would say is that although it comes in slightly lighter than other car seats is that it’s awkward to carry once your little ones are over 5-6kg, as you’re effectively carrying 10kg in the crook of one arm. Some way of holding these more securely would be great! - Strengths:

Brought this for my newborn on a budget. Is easy to use with or without isofix base. Comes with integrated sundhade, lightweight and easy to fit in the car and can be used with adapters for a pram. Would definitely recommend - Strengths:

Great car seat which is easy to use either with the isofix or using the car seat belt.
I love how lightweight it is. Very important when you've got a chunky baba!
I also love that Maxi-Cosi are very safety focused and will replace your car seat if you're in an accident. You just don't know what unseen damage might be done in even a tiny knock, so it's very reassuring to know that Maxi-Cosi are so safety focused. - Strengths:

This car seat is great! I have the family fix base for it and you can just click and go, fast, easy and safe. Plus it also fits on my pram, so if you are nipping to the shops quick it’s very handy.

I’ve been using this car seat since my baby was newborn. We bought a different newborn insert as he was a tiny baby but the insert that comes with it we now use, and he is always extremely comfortable when in the car. I also used this car seat on my quinny buzz pushchair and it always fitted wel and my son stayed comfortable, this way we didn’t need to disturb him if he fell asleep in the car.
The only issue I do have is when I take the car seat out the car with him in it, it can get very heavy!

This product is worth the money but not a rip off. It does exactly what is needed of a car seat. A relative of mine spent a lot of money on a top brand car seat and she’s had nothing but problems and had to pay extra for all the newborn accessories.
Ours is perfect and hasn’t broke the bank.
We found that’s our little one is really comfortable when he’s in his car seat. Even now we have removed the newborn insert. - Strengths:

This car seat is so fantastic all round. It's great value for money, easy to use, easy to take apart and clean and our baby is so comfortable in it. She often sleeps in it (even once we're out of the car). The straps are easily adjustable and the sun shade is a really useful feature to have too. - Strengths:

This is the second time we've bought this car seat (our first got damaged during its 7 year storage - our own fault!). But this second purchase is testament to how good the product is. Even 7 years on, we recently bought this product for our newborn and still love it - no other car seat came close.
We love how easy it is to use with the iSOFIX base - but it is also easily installed without. This MAXI COSI seat is also compatible with our iCandy (Strawberry - now the new LIME). There is a little 'boot' at the back of the seat which is big enough to store a rain cover (must buy separately) or the travel adapters we use for our iCandy frame.
It is annoying that this doesn't come with a rain cover now (it did 7 years ago) but I managed to get a cover from Amazon for £3.99 which is just as good!

I have used this car seat for both my babies and love it. It’s comfortable, adjustable, safe and gives my piece of mind. Knew I could get this and would fit on pretty much any pushchair frame with the right adaptors. Also definitely use the newborn insert

This carseat is great value for money and just perfect. It excellent quality and keeps baby nice and safe and snug. The head hugger is perfect and all the materials come off and can be washed and dried and put back on easily. We have used this seat with all 2 of our children back to back and its still in perfect condition

I could not reccoment this seat enough. I was in a 60mph+ car crash and my baby was completely unharmed where as I had broken bones. You can use it on pushchairs and its easily attached to the isofix base. - Strengths:

I love this car seat! Great design, unisex, fabrics are easy to remove to clean. An excellent buy for a new mum!! Easy to install, adapters can be purchased for easy swop i we to the pram, this is an added bonus as makes a mums job a lot easier.

I have used this for both of my babies until they grew out of it, with the isofix base and it made it very sturdy. Wouldn't use it without, moves around alot. Plan on using it again as am pregnant with our third. The padding is just enough for baby to be comfy but not too much so they are stuck. Maxi-cosi have a replacement scheme in place for if you are in a car accident, where they replaced the car seat with new, unfortunately I have to use it when someone went into the back of me. So thats another bonus/ weight off the mind if you've had an accident and need a new seat

The lightweight Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13 kg and is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs to form the perfect travel system.
This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
When used in conjunction with Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Base a light and sound indicator will notify you of its correct installation.
The car seat can also be adjusted into a unique upward position so older babies have more legroom. As a result, you can use the seat for longer in the rearward facing position which is the safest way for younger children to travel.
