I did choose the Maxicosi Cabriofix as part of a bundle, as paying for an upgrade I could have this maker rather than the pushchair one. I like the chair, it is very easy to work and also goes perfect with the Isofix base and my adaptors in the pushchair. The only let down is the size, as compared with other brands the chair is rather small, and my baby is about to outgrew it after only 5 months of use, not because of the weight just the height and also when she now wears a sleep suit she looks very tight and uncomfortable in the car seat, so it is also narrow.Read more

I find this car seat brilliant to use although it is easier to fit it in to the car on a base than by using the seatbelt. Maxi Cosi make it really easy to get replacement parts and covers so when you are passing it on to your next baby you can ensure it is 100% clean which is amazing!Read more
The adjuster for the straps make it perfect for your growing baby and makes sure it fits every time you put your baby into it rather than fighting with straps that can only be adjusted when not done up.
Essentially I love this car seat and highly recommend it for everyone! I use it with the Maxi Cosi Easyfix base which makes it extremely easy to get in and out of your car without any fuss. Just make sure you keep the strap adjuster out of the way otherwise the car seat will get stuck on the base :D - Strengths:

The Only Problem I Had Was Taking It Of The Pushchair frame as the buttons on the car seat were awkward to use especially as the child gets older!
But other than that it is a great sturdy car seat and well worth the money!

This is a great car seat up until your baby starys moving. My sin at aged 8mths started to be able to wriggle out the car seat despite using it correctly. I got my use of it check by mothercare 3 times as i got so worried. Seems that you all skinny babies can get out the seat. Other than that the seat has done us well and worn well with daily use. Easy to fit onto an isofix but also took on holiday and used with seat belts.

I really like this car seat, we originally chose it as we had heard good things about maxicosi and this car seat was in the sale (always helpful when stocking up for a new arrival). The car seat looks comfortable (especially the newborn insert) and my baby seems happy enough to sit in it for longer journeys with no problem. It is easy to use, i have only tried it with the isofix base, although it did take me a couple of attempts to figure out how to remove the seat from the base once attached. I also like that you can tilt the seat into a more upright position as your baby grows however I have found that the seat does not feel quite as secure when more upright. This car seat is so functional, my daughter used it from birth and she always looked so comfortable in it, we got the isofix base for the car and it's so easy to put in the car, also this car seat was able to connect to our pushchair with some adapters so overall is very useful. After a while it became heavy due to my baby getting bigger but overall a very good car seat and would definitely buy again.

The Cabriofix is suitable from newborn with the head huger and wedge insert providing comfort for your tiny bundle. As baby grows the insert can be removed to provide more growing room.
The car seat is easy to fix into place with just the seat belt and it's easy to remove baby and leave the seat in place, alternatively with adapter's the seat can be removed and fitted to a large range of prams to create a travel system.
In 2017 we were in an accident and my baby then 15 months old was kept safe and sound. I emailed maxi Cosi and they were amazing at advising me on what to do regarding replacement.
This car seat prevented my baby from being harmed and I recommend it to everyone. - Strengths:

The only good thing about this car seat that it fits on top of my chassis, the maxi cosi car seat is very heavy for me, i struggle to carry it around and my son is only 11 pounds, god knows how i’m going to cope when he gets heavier. My son also looks quite uncomfortable, like all squashed together. I would say it’s definitely not worth the money. - Strengths:

This car seat is amazing I love it my daughter loves it the straps extend easily and the hood can be taken out or tucked back in it has a big padded but for when newborn which is really supportive and it attaches to nearly all pushchairs which is a lifesaver when shopping!

Description
The lightweight Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13 kg and is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs to form the perfect travel system.
This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
When used in conjunction with Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Base a light and sound indicator will notify you of its correct installation.
The car seat can also be adjusted into a unique upward position so older babies have more legroom. As a result, you can use the seat for longer in the rearward facing position which is the safest way for younger children to travel.
This car seat has been designed with your little one's comfort in mind: it is supplied with a headhugger, newborn seat reducer, chest and buckle pad and an integrated sun canopy. It also features an extra comfortable ergonomic carrying handle to make it easier for you to transport.
