I bought this pushchair in 2014 when I was due my first baby. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews to make sure I was investing in something I knew would last, and most of all something I wouldn’t get bored of. It’s easy to use, pretty to look at, the best pushchair I’ve owned which is built to last you as long as you need it. I’ve used this pushchair for two babies/toddlers and I’m due my third in a matter of weeks and I cannot wait to use it again. I’ve refreshed all of the fabric as I’m having a different gender this time, and felt it was the right time to change them, even though the carry cot fabric is pristine still & there is only a little it of fading to the hood fabric from the sun in 5 years! Since I bought my pushchair the fabric design has had a little refresh so I’d like to catch up. I cannot fault the way the pushchair works, it’s easy to adjust the handles, easy to adjust the hood, recline the seat into different positions and easy to fold down after you’ve done it once, it’s simple! Bugaboo as a company are easy to deal with too, if you ever have any queries or questions.

After testing quite a few prams we settled on the Bugaboo Cameleon and very pleased with our choice. We decided not to go for a travel system so we knew we would have to use the bassinet each time we went out. Which is great, it’s roomy and my little girl who is now 13 weeks has always been comfy in it. The only down size is you need quite a big boot for the pram base and basinett. We have a mini country man and I have to take a wheel off each time to lay the frame flat And the basinett on top. This is not really a problem as they are very easy to remove. Once the frame is in the boot and the bassinet this does not leave much room for anything else. I am looking forward to using the seat as this folds all together and feels like there will be less faffing. I like the fact the handle bars can change height and can be flipped over so you can either have the big wheels at the front or the small. Over all pleased with the Bugaboo

I have the bugaboo chameleon 3 for my 10week old and I love it. It’s very easy to steer and put up and down. This pram is very easy to use as every white button on the pram does something so you know exactly where to press! The frame folds down really nicely the only advice I would give is you need a big boot in the car to fit the frame plus the basinette.

My parents brought this lovely pram for me when I was pregnant with my son. Just stunning looking and always complimented. My son absolutely loves his pram and always falls asleep.. no matter how tired or awake he is! So sturdy and easy to push. However it is quite bulky so having a small car is abit of nightmare at times. Overall great pram.

    • Strengths:

Love the fact that everything in white on a bugaboo does something and so easy to steer as light

    • Weaknesses:

Only downside need two hands to collapse the frame

Love this pram as so easy to steer, is lightweight yet sturdy. You can change direction of how want baby to face and which wheels to have at the front depending on the terrain (big wheels at the front for travelling on the beach or in snow!)
Love that everything in white on the frame does something so easy to fix parts on/off or adjust.
The only 3 quibbles with it is that it is a bit low for us taller parents and cannot adjust the height of the pram fixings to be higher up. The break clip is tough to take off sometimes so if not careful can pinch your finger and the throats point is that you need to use two hands to collapse the frame. Once used to it get over the quibbles as the pros far outweigh any of the quibbles. So pleased I bought it.

Love how big the bassinet is, my baby who is 14 weeks old still fits with room and he is on 75th percentile. A lot of bassinets wouldn't at this stage! Folds up and down with ease and is built to last. It looks beautiful too!

I bought this product 4 years ago when it was a limited edition and having rheumatoid arthritis I found it the easiest pram to move about and push of all the ones I tested. It’s easy to clean as all the parts are easy to remove. It’s also easy to change over from the carry cot to upright position. My only downside to this product is that after 4 years (I used it for my first child now 4 and now using it for my newborn) that the hood had faded from sunlight. I bought the navy blue with cream quilt interior, and I haven’t been able to find a navy hood anywhere to replace.

What a pushchair! I fell in love with it as soon as I touched it. It glides so easily when pushing! The carry cot is a great size and my little one loved it. It was easy to assemble and it’s amazing that it can all be washed! The seat fabric is very strong and durable. I loved the petrol blue colour and think it is a great colour for both boys and girls. It’s so easy to fold down and fit in the car too! I just absolutely love this pushchair. The chassis is so strong and I feel that my baby is super safe when riding in it!

I’ve had mine for years and bought second hand as couldn’t justify full price for it. I love it has multiple uses due to having a carry cot for a newborn and grows with your child right up until you stop using it. Big shopping basket underneath can hold loads of shopping. Sturdy wheels for any terrain. Raincover covers child completely and snug so no Chance of them getting wet and ill. Easily be steered with one hand due to the one handle and easy 360 front wheels to manoeuvre round corners etc I’ve always loved the bugaboo make and thanks to them won’t need to buy another buggy due to it being so sturdy and lasts years.

As a first time mum i found the whole shopping for a pram/travel system a minefield. But there was something always pulling me towards the bugaboo.
Im 5"2 so i didn't want anything bulky or heavy but i didn't want it to fly away at the same time.. the bugaboo has it nailed not only do you have the sturdy frame and wheels you have the lightness which is perfect. Moving around busy towns, stations to rural retreats was easy i didn't need to worry about will mt6oram take it. Its the little things on this pram that make it perfect, the break on the handle is a god send if you have other children wanting to push theres no slip of the break, the suspension will keep dad amused but most importantly you can strip it and wash it!!

Im due another little on in july and ive already ordered mine. Id never use another brand.

I absolutely loved my bugaboo chameleon 3. For my first child I wanted to have a buggy that was going to comfort me and my new born knowing that he is safe and comfortable. My little 7.04oz Newborn was always cosy in his carry cot, I felt reassured that he was safe. The buggy itself is strong and easy to push, easy to turn corners and go over bumps. I found it quite hard to put the buggy together at first but I'm not too good with instructions so that is most probably why I struggled. But in the end I was super quick with dealing with the buggy, making changes etc... I like the fact that the buggy can change around, the wheels can go the other way and the seat which my son eventually moved in too could also face the opposite way. Such good quality and machine washable if you needed to take any parts of to wash.. I love it! Great value for money. How ever with my second child who is born in June I can not afford this lovely buggy and I'm regretting giving it away.

Really pleased with this pushchair and were thankfully gifted it by my parents in law. It is a lot of money but can tell it will last until my daughter is at least 2. Love the appearance and the design, so easy to manoeuvre, it’s a real pleasure to push.
Downside is that it can be quite difficult to put up and down, you can do it right 10 times and then suddenly you put the smallest move wrong and you’re stuck in a bit of a pickle! If you have a boot sale size or smaller than a Fiesta it won’t fit or you will have to take the wheels off. Overal really love it and glad we chose it.

The bugaboo is beautiful. It looks great and is so easy and light to push. The downside is when the carrycot is on, it is so low to the basket that you can't get anything in or out without a struggle, this is annoying if like me you choose to put the raincover in it. Having said that this isn't the case with the main seat and I wouldn't have not had the carrycot is sturdy and fab for if out on long days. I take the carrycot off the frame and use in the front room for daytime napping to as is just as good if not better than a Moses basket. The other downside is putting the pushchair up from folded as can get stuck and takes a bit more manual manipulation to get it open. The accessories are expensive, I recently lost my raincover and was shocked to see the replacement would set me back £54.95. The footmuff is £105 so the extras aren't cheap in price but are great quality and wash so well. If you want a reliable pushchair that is good quality this is the one for you. I had to have my frame replaced due to a sticking brake fault, bugaboo sent a new frame to mothercare where we purchased it from with no issues so I recommend for the level of customer service also as if there are any issues they sort with no messing around. Highly recommend.

Had my heart set on getting another bugaboo cameleon for baby number 2 as it served us to well for baby number 1. Found an amazing deal so couldn't not buy it there and then. carrycot lasted us till baby 2 was 5.5 months, kept her cosy and warm in the cold weather as well as her being comfortable and cool in the hot weather. i love the fact you can swap and change colours of the hood, footmuff and apron to suit your taste, meaning if you feel like your getting bored, you can just change the fabrics and voila new pram.
The seat faces both parent and world, which is amazing for when your little one is grown & wants to explore more. Easy to fold, easy to swap seat around, bumper bar also turns for easy access to getting baby in and out of the pram. Also, many car seats are compatible with the bugaboo with the correct adapters, which makes the pram so versatile & easy to use on a daily basis to suit your needs. 100% recommend bugaboo

Easy to unfold, it fits a car seat which can face forwards or backwards, it can be a pram or a push chair and again they can face forwards or backwards.

The foot muffs are really soft and warm and the rain cover is good for a long walk in the rain, not just a slight shower.
It's steers very well but can be difficult to get up and down pavements or single steps and occasionally it doesn't fold easily.
Generally it's a good travel system and in our house we have two travel systems, this is my preferred system.

We once heard someone refer to Bugaboo as the Rolls-Royce of prams. We went pram shopping and didn't initially consider Bugaboo as we mistakenly wrote it off as 'style over substance' or 'paying for the name'. However, as we spent the best part of a day in the pram shop and explored various brands it became clear that Bugaboo has both style AND substance.

In addition to the excellent quality of the materials there are various features I really like. For example, the hood is a clever design which extends and pulls right down to act as a sun shade. This also means you can create a nice dark environment for when you want little one to go to sleep! They can't see out to get distracted if you want them to nap, but there's enough of a gap for you to peek in to check on them. I also like how the seat can go fully upright, as strangely not all pushchairs do this. Another win for me was finding out that all the fabric is machine washable - particularly useful if you plan to have several children. I can also tell you that it washes well!

It's quite clever how the handlebar easily flips over to the other side. This might sound like a fairly pointless feature but it has two key uses that I've noticed. First, if you are pushing on a terrain where the small front wheels are struggling you can quickly flip the handlebar so the large back wheels become the front wheels. Second, our prone to reflux newborn would be sick if we pushed the pram downhill, but by simply flipping the handlebar they would be travelling feet first down the hill rather than head first.

The only weakness I've found really is that the basket is not easily accessible if using the carrycot. It is also not that big compared to some baskets I've seen. On the other hand, a positive point regarding the basket is that it closes with a draw string - this means it can double up as an extra changing bag as you can leave stuff inside and it won't fall out when you fold the pram up to go in the boot of the car.

Something that can be seen as a positive or negative depending on your requirements is that there is only one seat frame to which you attach either the pushchair seat fabric or the carrycot fabric. This means it isn't quick and easy to interchangeably use the pushchair and carrycot. A downside if you have both a toddler and a baby and want to swap and change who uses the Bugaboo throughout the day. But a plus if you don't have much storage space - when your baby outgrows the carrycot you don't have to store a whole carrycot, you just store the fabric whilst the frame becomes your toddlers pushchair seat.

Overall I recommend without hesitation. Definitely worth the money!

Absolutely adore my bugaboo chameleon 3, its really easy to steer one handed if needed and baby / now toddler seemed extremely comfortable in the carrycot and now the seat. Very stylish, I always have comments on the look of it. It's very simple to put up and take down and is quite light weight compared to a lot of very sturdy prams on the market. The downside for me is that anything extra for the pram you have to buy separately which I think is a bit of a pain, as I didn't realise until after we had the baby and comparing to other pram brands with other mums.

We first bought our Bugaboo Cameleon 3 in 2015 before the birth of our first child. It was in daily use until she was over 2, and we were astonished at how immaculate it looks. The frame is hard wearing and there's barely a scuff even after taking it in and out of the boot regularly. The fabrics look brand new and the clean lines and elegance of the bugaboo mean that it doesn't look dated now we've started to use it again for our new baby boy. We chose navy with cream for our colourway and it has been so easy to find lovely blankets and accessories to complement it. The wheels are big and they're nice and bouncy, meaning you can bump the pram down curbs and steps with real ease, and the brake ( cleverly positioned on the handle and not by your feet, meaning you can't kick it off by accident) holds the bugaboo nice and firm, even on a gradient. Watch out when you're taking the brake off though, it can snap back against your hand and give you a nasty bite if you're not careful! Our toddler still gets tired legs sometimes, so we opted to add the buggy board with a seat to the pram this time. It attaches firmly and easily with a click, and it's great for long walks or shopping trips. The only downside to the board is that whilst the basinette part of the pram is in use, the board won't flip up out of the way when it's not in use.
We love our Bugaboo. So many great features and it looks fantastic too.

We absolutely love this pram, it is stylish, versatile, lightweight and easy to collapse to place in the boot of our car (after a few practice runs!). We have a large boot so this hasn’t caused us any issues but I have to agree that when using the bassinet for the first few months, it did take up the majority of space in the boot. Now we are using the chair it is much easier to dismantle and squeeze in. The steering is great, so easy to manoeuvre and the extendable hood for those bright sunny days and nap time were a god send during the hot summer we experienced.
The only complaint I have is access to the basket underneath is near on impossible when using the bassinet, I could just about prize out the waterproof cover with lots of wiggling, putting your shopping in there is limited. However, since we have been using the chair, access is much easier and I fully utilise it, it’s actually quite roomy which is really handy.
All in all I would highly recommend this pram to any new parents.

I’ve had this pram for over one year now, I love that it is super easy to make a travel system by purchasing adaptors. The pushchair is so easy to steer even with one hand. I’ve used it from birth and still using it now and my son weighs 10kg and honestly it still pushes with such ease. The extendable sun canopy is also a major thing that I love as well as the very generous shopping basket. It can easily be used in the future for other children by changing the colour of the sun canopy I’m in love with it.
