I originally chose this buggy for my first born after the reviews on Which?. I went to the baby show with an open mind and checked out all the other well known brands (buggaboo etc) and they were so complicated- different wheels, a minefield to fold etc my mind was boggled. I asked to see the cityjogger and haven’t looked back. It’s not the most expensive buggy and it doesn’t need to be. It’s lightweight and durable (I got the grey demin and black) and looks smart. The best thing was the folding function- uou literally pull one handle and it folds. Liked it so much got a second for my newborn.

I absolutely love this buggy and recommend it to all mothers to be. I love how it only requires one hand to fold. Very compact for car boots and wheels can come off very easily. Due to a fault with the front wheel I had to use another buggy until my new buggy arrived and only then realised how amazing and smooth the steering the baby jogger is! One hand required only! I haven’t had any problems with the replacement buggy. My little one is 3.5yrs and still use it. No need to down size to a stroller!

I used this pram on a sightseeing holiday for my 3 year old. It’s a good pram with a big comfy seat and it easy to could to get in and out of the car. It also foulds down pretty compact. This pram is a great beach pram when lugging all your children’s belongings around.

We purchased this after buying another brand of pushchair which wasn't great over a stone surface near to where we live. This pushchair is perfect for that! Large seat in comparison too. Absolutely love the size of the hood and how far it can pull down to keep the sun out. It folds quite flat so great to leave folded up under the stairs with the break on. Handle is comfortable, you can change the angle to suit the height of the person. I can push it literally down towards the floor so my 3 year old can push it.

It doesn't suit a buggy board if you have don't child in the seat at the same time. It's too light as a 3 wheeler and tends to ping up.

Only real downside is that it isn't parent facing, however they do two versions of carrycot (where you can attach on own or on top of the actual seat). Also the seat does allow the child to lay completely flat and on a hot day the flap head end can be rolled up for air to circulate.

    Would definitely recommend.

I have this buggy. It is good as it has a deep seat that lasts. My 3 year old easily fit in.
The only downside is sometimes the brake can stick a bit. And it is also hard to fit footmuffs to fit a gt. I had mine specially made as the baby jogger doesn’t fit properly

Great sturdy pram, easy to use out and about. Folds easily with one hand and easily carries when folded. Our son was very tall for his age and the large seat made it easy to use with him when he wasn’t quite ready to walk all the time. Great pram for a great price and would buy another one if we had another baby

Best purchase I have made, bought with baby no.2 and still in perfect condition for no.3. So easy to steer, can manage with one hand whilst holding onto a 4 year old. Folds with ease and fits easily into.most cars. Very robust and I am delighted with our city mini wished we had bought it earlier

I have this pushchair and model for each of my children it’s fantastic for ever day use. I brought adaptions and used this as if it was a travel system with my car seat and carrycot it was simple and very easy to attach and unattached. I used this pram until my children were around 3 years old the seat is massive so they can very comfortably sit/sleep in there the hood fully extends which is great for when the sun is shining to protect little ones eyes. And the mesh backing can be revealed to let air circulate within the pram it’s been designed with every thinkable need to make baby comfortable it’s also a joy to push, my husband and I found the folding mechanism amazing very simple for my husband and friends to collapse over all absolutely amazing

I had read a few reviews about the pushchair before purchasing and was quiet sceptic about them, it's really easy to put up/down, it's lightweight, very easy to push and the thing that i would personally say is the best is it's build quality.

Love this pram. We bought as our second pram to travel with and my husband prefers it over our silver cross. The only thing I don’t like is the fact there is no parent facing option. It can also be a bit difficult bumping up steps/kerbs because of the single wheel at the front but you soon develop the knack of it.

We bought this model when our little girl was 2 as we needed something bigger, with better storage and more practical for outdoor activities. We rate the Baby Jogger City Mini GT very highly as it meets these needs almost perfectly as well as offering a number of other key benefits. One of the best features is how easy it is to collapse- you simply pull the fabric handle located on the seat and it folds itself into a relatively small and very manageable unit- A huge treat after having to dismantle and jigsaw our last travel system into the car! The one bar rubber coated handle and three wheel structure also makes steering really smooth and easy and has been a safe comfortable ride on all terrain for us so far. The hood is also large, which is very good for screening baby from the sun or if you get caught out in a shower- it also has a plastic window so that you can see them with it down. The seat and harness are comfortable and safe and the seat easily reclines with a pull cord, which is perfect for getting your little one off to sleep in comfort. Storage is also a positive feature, with a basket underneath and mesh pocket at the back- Although it’s not as roomy as some, we’ve found it ample. The only negative we’ve found with this stroller is that when the hood is folded back it’s touching the top of our daughters head and we often have to try to push the fabric up to give her more room. Although our daughter is quite tall for her age (2 1/2), I wouldn’t think many four year olds would have enough head height in this seat.
Overall, buying this stroller has made getting from A to B so much easier for me. It looks good and is very easy to operate- I feel a lot of thought has been put into making this work for busy mums and dads!

I was recommended this by numerous friends with babies and it has not disappointed what so ever. It is extremely easy to steer and use even on cross country terrain. I am able to push it and walk my dog at the same time. It has a fantastic turning circle which means that it can be manouevered very easily.

You can fold it up with one hand and it fits easily into the boot of a car without having to remove any wheels.

The harness means you child is safe and secure. The material clips off so that you can clean it quickly and easily.

I wouldn’t buy any other product

We were recommended this Pram for our first by a mum of three and we saw one for £20 second hand and we needed a cheap Pram for a holiday that we could throw about. The hood also has UV 50 to help protect from the sun. It was incredible, I struggled with our last Pram as it fought me when trying to collapse it where as the Mini jogger makes me look like I’ve got my S#!t together as a Mum one handed lay folding it and throwing it into the boot like a pro! After our holiday we went and purchased a brand new one as an investment and we still love it and now lend out our second hand one to friends taking their kids away on holiday for ease, we constantly recommend. Three friends have gone on to buy one after trying ours out. It also fully reclines for sleeping too!

Having owed my BJGT for nearly 3 years I love everything about this buggy. The huge hood means whether rain or shine my baby is protected. Easy break system, full recline and great suspension giving a easy ride on any terrain. The manoeuvrability is lightweight and glides effortlessly with one hand.

I absolute love this pushchair. It has lasted through both my children and even folds down small enough to fit in the boot of a Yaris as all 3 wheels are removable (although I generally only need to take 1 off).
This pushchair works well in towns and off road and the tyres have lasted at least 3 years and still going.
The pushchair is still plenty big enough to fit my 3 year old in comfortably and you don't notice his weight as it is still smooth to push, even one handed steering.
It is slightly heavier to lift into your boot than other similar push chairs but it needs to be so it is robust and it is no heavier than the weight of a car seat.
It has a large basket that is easily accessible and the brake is a hand brake which is a lot easier to use than a foot one.
The hood is extra extendable so shades baby really well even on the carry cot, which means that even if the sun is shining on baby 95% of the time you can keep their face covered.
The pushchair can recline to a flat position so can be used from birth if you didn't want to buy a carrycot as well.
I would definitely recommend this pushchair to anyone on wants to use it on trails etc as well as towns and you only ever need to buy one buggy and not change as baby becomes a toddler.

This is the best pushchair around. It is really easy to fold up and fit in the boot. If you had a smaller boot then the wheels come off with a simple click and it’s no hassle. It is also really easy to steer and when I’ve pushed other pushchairs they seem so clunky in comparison. The hood is nice and big so works as a good sunshade too and the basket underneath is a good size. Every aspect of it seems easy from how it folds to how it goes from sitting position to flat! I really can’t fault it.

This is a really great pushchair. Its a good size and lies flat so can be used from birth to at least four. The seat is a generous size so even a larger child can be comfortable with a coat on. The hood comes right down and provides brilliant protection. The basket is a little small though. The handle bar is adjustable and the bigger wheels make it good on rough terrain. The fold is easy and the pushchair kind of folds in half making it quite compact. It fits in the boot of my zafira with all the seats up. It is heavy though. I purchased the snack tray as an extra and you have to buy the raincover separately too, but the hood is so large with a footmuff on the pram you dont really need on.

360-degree spinning front wheel, that makes it easy to manoeuvre with one hand.

I've had the City Mini GT for 2 years now and it's a really good all-terrain stroller. It still amazes me how I can go over humps, sidewalk corners and fields with no effort other than to push. I especially love the front rotating 360-degree wheel that makes it incredibly easy to steer with one hand. This especially comes in handy at the airport while trying to walk with your suitcase in the other hand.
The hooded canopy is wonderful and almost completely covers your child from the sun (on those bright and sunny days). When you extend it fully out, you have 2 peek-a-boo plastic windows that open and close with velcro.
My hubby is tall, so it was very important to find a stroller that was high enough to rest his hands at a comfortable level (as well as mine for I am average height). The City Mini GT has a 3-level adjustable handlebar, which also comes in handy on those long-distance walks and runs.
The City Mini GT is also very easy to fold and with just one hand by pulling a strap on the base of the seat.
The brake locking system is great! There is an up and down leverage on the top side of the stroller that you pull up to lock and down to release the break. The braking system is very secure and locks the wheels in place. Works amazingly when you're on public transit.
There is a basket net at the bottom of the stroller to store things, but keep in mind not a lot of things. However, from a weights perspective, the basket net can hold a lot.
There is a handlebar and feeding tray bar that can attach to the front of the stroller, but those, as well as a rain cover, are added accessories you can buy separately.
The only downfall to the City Mini GT is cleaning the material parts when your stroller starts to get dirty from food and drinks. It takes patience pulling everything apart and remembering where everything goes when putting it back together again. The canopy is very tricky to remove and you need to pull out your handyman tools to get the canopy cover off the bar. I just wish Baby Jogger thought about those details when it comes to cleaning the stroller.
Other than that, overall, the City Mini GT has been one of the best purchases I've made when it comes to baby products, and I would recommend this stroller.

This is the best pushchair purchase we have made. It is quite pricey but you are buying a high quality item. It is so easy to fold and can be done one handed. It is also very light so easy to steer too. The seat is comfortable and reclines all the way back. It is good on all terrains except for sand. Shame there isn't an option for it to be parent facing then it would suit younger babies better as it is suitable from newborn.

I’ve had this buggy for four years and have used it with the deluxe carrycot right through to pushing my four year old in it. It’s so easy to manoeuvre, even with a heavy child in and is great on rough ground but had attendance to tip a little if you’re not careful.
It can turn on a sixpence and is so easy to put up and down. I can collapse it and put it in the car whilst holding a baby in the other arm so it’s so convenient.
The large good is great for total shade and helps keep little ones asleep. The raincover is much easier to use than others I’ve come across.
Another advantage I’ve found is that if you have a smaller boot, the wheels easily come off to make the pushchair smaller when folded.
  • 4.63/5
    • Strengths:

I can move the pushchair with one finger; really easy one handed fold, lightweight, from birth use

    • Easy to fold

This is an amazing value pushchair that takes your baby from birth to toddler; it actually has one of the wider seats for toddlers. It has a lay flat function for newborns or naps with great ventilation, but you are unable to practically use this with a glider board attachment (rather the toddler cannot get on the glider board), or have the baby facing you (unless you have a baby car seat on top. It has a great large hood which blocks a lot of sunlight and it is so easy to move and fold up. It has a reasonably sized basket underneath and a lifetime warranty on the chassis for peace of mind, though mine is really looking very new considering I’ve had it for almost three years. The seat cover and accessories like the footmuff all come off easily, are very durable and are machine washable.
The only real downsides are that you are unable to hang anything from the handle, like a changing bag, as it will tip the pushchair due to how lightweight it is (but the easy one handed fold makes up for this disadvantage) and that the window on the hood should really have a zip or magnets to open/close as Velcro is noisy and doesn’t last as long. All in all, a fabulous pushchair that is amazing value for money. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely amazing pushchair, I felt it was sturdy and really easy to steer. It has a good sized basket and was easy to fold up. I used mine for my first son and when my next baby old enough I will be using it again. My son always loved sitting in it and the recline on the seat was great when he wanted a nap. The pushchair looks good and for the price it really does live up to expectations.
