Ofcourse the purpose of these is that they're suitable for newborns so are slow however as they're supposed to be used up until 3 Months I find them a little too slow. My daughter gets frustrated with them and when tried the next size up they were too fast and she got upset and wouldn't drink her milk. We're now swapping to the vari flow teats and hoping that they work better for us.
easy to clean, transparent so you can see how much milk is left
blocks easily, was frustrating for my newborn

I stocked up on Tommee Tippee newborn teats on the advice of friends with babies. the first few uses with formula were fine and baby was comfortable drinking away.
after a couple of weeks she started spitting half the milk out and getting frustrated when drinking. We discovered that milk would just stop coming out. We tried to only make up formula with very hot water, shaking it more, leaving the formula to sit in the bottle for a minute or two before shaking it. We even tried a different formula (bad idea!)
I read that you need to make sure the valve is open, so we did that again and again...even in the middle of a feed, which led to further frustration by all. After a couple of weeks we got the variflo by TT but it started happening again. We've moved on to a different brand now and baby loves it.
Brilliant for babys that struggle with a fast flow, my baby always suffered with belly ache where they was drinking to fast and as soon as used these I found feeding more comfortable for baby and didn't suffer with the belly ache.
