I absolutely love this car seat! We bought this when my son was about nine months old when He had grown out of his maxi cosy pebble car seat .

It is well-made with an up-to-date design and is visually pleasing . I have found that fitting it forward facing can be a bit of a struggle as the gap to get the seatbelt through is quite small . However this being said when it is fitted it is really secure and doesn’t move at all .
I feel that my son is well protected when in this seat and it supports him well .

The only other thing is it’s quite big so I wouldn’t recommend this if you need a car seat that you can change from car to car or if you have a small car .

Overall I’m really pleased with it and its worth the money . This will be the car seat that we will be buying for our second son when he needs the next stage seat .

I brought this car seat when my little one was 9 months- I wanted him to stay rear facing for as long as possible and this car seat enables him to do that. Really good value for money as you will never have to buy another car seat. I would not get this car seat for a newborn as I liked the easiness of taking my baby car seat out of the car to put on a trolley or buggy to pop to the shop! For this I had the Joie i-gemm (Brilliant seat). I would also say for a new born the Joie every stage may not lie back as much as a carry car seat.
The only other consideration is the size of your car if you want the car seat rear facing- if you have a small car you may struggle to rear face the car seat (I had trouble in fiat punto). Now I have a estate car the seat fits perfectly rear facing and we love it!!

I love this seat! So comfy for my little man and really easy to install in the car. Has already seen us through baby to toddler stage with ease. Also like the high weight limit for rear facing so I could keep little one that way as long as possible.

I do really like this car seat - the main reason I bought this is because you can also have rear facing as well as forward facing. It’s easy to use and comfortable for baby too. Some of the great benefits include the fact that it grows with your child, very secure, not too bulky and is well worth the money you pay!

Love that it's birth to 12 and as a childminder it's be at not to have lots of different car seats for different ages. However I find the seat depth quite shallow and rear facing my 18 month old (she wears age 2-3 so is a large 18 month old) is difficult and she is a bit squashed.
  • 5.00/5
    • Strengths:

Comfy, multi recline, forward and backward facing, easy to clean

    • Weaknesses:

The strap that pulls the shoulder straps forays, the safety straps twist

    • Comfortable
    • Value for money
    • Easy to use
    • Design
I have had this car seat since just before my little boy was one. In rear facing the only issue I could find was having to go over the seat belt to place him in the car seat. It has multi recline so you can get baby even comfier. All the padding makes a comfy place for any child. The only bad points are that when child is coming out of the seat the chest straps seem to twist in the buckle, and the cord that pulls the straps tighter seems to fray. It is easy to loosen the straps and easy to clean.

I use this car seat for my 4 year old who has just outgrown the 5 point harness at 18kg. This car seat really suits my daughter as she’s tall and slim. I really like that you can hide the 5 point harness behind the backrest when outgrown. My daughter find this car seat very comfortable and 9/10 times falls to sleep in a car journey.
The headrest is easily adjusted and I really like the side impact shield. The small base is a really good point to this car seat. The only down fall is it’s not suitable for smaller cars when using it in rear facing mode. Overall i really like this car seat and I’m happy with this purchase and I think it’s worth the value of money.

I would definitely recommend this product, it can be used from birth to 12 years and has many different positions. When my daughter falls asleep in it with the last position because she is now 1, I don't need to worry about her head floppy forward because the car supports her properly.

Excellent car seat as your baby will sit in the seat from birth till age 12. It’s definitely worth buying as you don’t need to keep changing car seats every few years which can get costly. It’s expensive but it’s worth it for sure. It’s very simple to put into the car and very comfortable for the baby as it tilts so your baby isn’t straining their back in any way.

rear (0-18kg) and forward facing. Also came in a fab colours. Up to 12 years!

    • Weaknesses:

Can be fiddly. Straps often get twisted. Can sometimes be hard to loosen straps.

I bought this car seat as I had read tonnes of excellent reviews on the Joie brand but also specifically the Joie Everystage. I wanted my baby rear facing for as long as possible and feel this seat is the way to go. Not only that but the every stage can last a child up until the age of 12 or when they reach the correct height to no longer need a seat. Another great feature is the abundance of side impact protection! Babies are surrounded fully and comfortable (comes with newborn inserts) but also has extra safety on the exterior of the seat, on each side there is a pull out side impact bumper.
This seat is great but it has a few draw backs, such as its fiddly straps, although I haven’t found it any more fiddly than other 5 point harnesses, it does sometimes need a good tug to be loosened, which can be frustrating if you need to keep baby asleep as you get them out of the car.
Having said this I believe that shows how robust and capable it would be if anything ever were to happen while driving.
An excellent car seat if you want value for money! Just under £200 for 12 years of safe car journeys!
  • 3.50/5
    • Strengths:

Easy to install, adjusts to size of the child

    • Weaknesses:

Only harnesses to 18kg, difficult to tighten straps properly

    • Comfortable
    • Value for money
    • Easy to use
    • Design
The Joie every stage car seat is overall a good product, it is secure and my son finds it comfortable, however it only harnesses up to 18kg and then must be used as a high back booster.
My son is quite big and will likely exceed this weight before he’s ready for a booster so I will have to buy a car seat that harnesses and rear faces up to 25kg at some point.

Lovely car seat, however it’s not easy to recline seat without having to readjust the seatbelt, and lean the seat back from chair when in rear facing.
Not always the easiest to get into the straps and they keep twisting under the padding. Only had it two weeks so just getting used to it

This product is beautiful, it lasts such a long time making it incredible value for money. The only down fall I’ve found is it can be difficult to adjust the straps and quite annoying to begin with but one you get the hang of it. It’s highly recommended by me and several of my friends.
  • 3.75/5
    • Strengths:

Suitable from birth to 12 yrs

    • Weaknesses:

Quite awkward to get child in & strapes over shoulders

    • Comfortable
    • Value for money
    • Easy to use
    • Design
Get value as you shouldn’t need to buy any other seat from birth to 12 yrs. Child seems relatively comfortable but unfortunately you can tilt seat backwards when child sleeping without adjusting seat belt.
It can be quite hard to get straps over child's shoulders due to padding around seat & straps continually twist.
Not sure I’ll buy a 2nd for new baby.

We already used that car seat up to 1 year and it's still perfect just need to clean a little bit.
It's easy to fit in a car. And the big point it's that car seat grow with your baby so you don't need to buy new one for every stage.

This is a brilliant car seat. It is very padded. To start with it can be a bit fiddly to get to the right tilt but once you get that it's easy to use.
You can keep your little one rear facing or forward facing which both ways are get and I love how it grows with your child. Great value for money
  • 4.50/5

Safe. Secure and value for money

    • Weaknesses:

      Hard to move. Heavy.

    • Comfortable
    • Value for money
    • Easy to use
    • Design
I love this car seat. It’s very sturdy and safe. The value for money when you work out how long my son will use it for is brilliant.
My only criticisms are that it’s hard to fit in the car which means moving it from car to car is a task it’s also quite heavy for me to lift by myself.
