Absolutely love the isofix! Did not buy initially until my baby was about 2 months old but wish I had it from birth! My daughter often falls asleep in the car and the isofix makes it easy to transport a sleepy baby out without waking! I am also so confident that she is so safe when I’m driving! Love my base didn’t have one with my first but did with number 2 and 3. Simple to install and then life is so much easier. Clip to the base and off you go no messing with seat belts. - Strengths:

I brought this isofix with my 3rd baby after having to strap my other two in with a belt. This made my life so much easier. It also helped that it did a tune when the cars eat was installed properly. Also easy quick realise , i'm due another baby in January, not expected so unfortunately sold mine on but i will definitely be getting another one of these. - Strengths:

Really recommend buying this base if buying the maxi cosi car seat. It makes getting it in and out of the car really easy and saves fiddling around with the seatbelt every time. It's not too bad to install, especially once you've done it a couple of times. It makes baby quite upright (not reclined very low) but doesn't seem to bother baby, and baby sleeps fine with head back and no falling forward. The only downfall is it's very heavy so if moving it from car to car or when storing it does weigh a lot. - Strengths:

I have had 4 kids and car seats have been a big bare putting in and out of car but when you have one of these iso fix there is nothing more easier you fix it in and the car seat clips in and out with ease I had a c section and putting my son in and out of the car was so much easier having the isofix highly recommend - Strengths:

It’s an easy to use product. We have used it on Both the size 0 car seat and the next stage. So good value for money. We move it between two cars, and it fits both with easy. However it is a little heavy and bulky. - Strengths:

We bought one of these to fit our car seat into the back seat without the use of a seatbelt, and I would highly recommend them. Very easy user friendly design, very sturdy and makes the use of the car seat, taking it in and out of the car much quicker and easier which is super important when you have a baby! We bought the Isofix base for the pebble plus car seat. The process of fitting to the car was incredibly straight forward and was done just before we headed to the hospital. The base allows us to slot the car seat in easily. The three green lights and beep let you know the seat is secure and it gives peace of mind. There no more fiddling about with car seats and the base can be transferred to another car very easily. Although quite expensive I would recommend for those who an afford it as I feel it is well worth the money for a safe product which is used daily. - Strengths:

I bought one of these for my baby to go with his maxi cosy car seat it’s so easy to use once it’s clicked in to the isofix you just leave it it has warning light if it was to come lose with is great car seat just clicks on top of need to use a seatbelt as well . This base is overall good value for money and a very safe option for travelling with little one. Once it is fitted, getting the car seat connected and disconnected is very easy with just one push to clip it in and one lever to pull when taking out. The light system is a good way to know if everything is connected correctly.
The base is quite heavy to move between cars and can be a bit fiddley getting the clips into the isofix points on the car. This is a great product if you are planning on leaving it in the car and not switching it between cars on a regular basis. Also tells you when the batteries are getting low which is handy. You can change the seat position but reclining forwards or back for extra comfort. This base also fits both stage 1&2 car seats so lasts until your child is ready for a booster type seat. Much easier and safer than using a seatbelt to secure a car seat. - Strengths:

Extremely safe to use. Saves lots of time having to belt the car seat in. Can be a little bit fiddly when trying to get the car seat on and off the base. I wouldn’t recommend if you have a 3 door car.

This base makes transferring the pebble car seat in and out of the car easily and also has great recline when used with the pearl car seat. The only fault I find is the buttons to release the isofix can’t sometimes be stiff. - Strengths:

We have this product to go with our maxicosi cabriofix. Overall it's a great install, easy enough to do and very secure. I like how it beeps when attaching the car seat to tell you it's properly fixed to the base,and also easy to remove the car seat when needed. This is in our very small Kia picanto strike and fits well. However I do find the recline when using this base isn't as lay back as when done baseless- despite this the easy install and secure fit outweighs this by far.

Never used one before but on trying it was very easy to fit into the car, a little large so not sure would fit into our small car once the seats in place, safe and sturdy and will save lots of time getting the baby seat into place, even the hubby will cope! - Strengths:

Such a useful product, makes moving the car seat in and out of the car so easy and so quick! Only downside is that it takes up a fair amount of space, but would lose the space any day so don’t have to use the seatbelt to fix the seat in! - Strengths:

The Familyfix base stays in your vehicle so you can lift your little one's car seat in and out with ease, then click it back into the base at the start of your journey for a simple, safe and rapid installation everytime.
