I enjoyed reading this book and as a first time mum I feel like I now have some knowledge that I will use when the baby arrives. However, given that the book is written a few years ago, a lot of things have now changed and there still may be some information that is missing. Book focuses more on personal opinion than facts but still very good source of information for first time mums. It is easy to read and doesn’t use medical or complex jargon that is hard to understand. Recommend to other mums for sure

I loved the book it helped me during my first pregnancy to know what I really needed to know and buy. As a results, I took a lot of products off of my list and doesnt way less money than I would have. I haven’t had my baby yet but I’m sure it will be very helpful then too.

I was given this book as a gift not long after having my son. As a first time mummy this book has been a life saver, it's like my bible. It is an easy read and useful unlike other parenting books I've read. Cannot recommend this book enough!

I was given this book as a gift when pregnant and I found it very useful. It goes through in detail all the stages of being a first time parent and what to expect from labour onwards. It isn’t all just huge paragraphs and has loads of little lots and bullet points. I have now lent it to an expectant friend and she is enjoying it too.
