The top cover of the carry cot that is magnetic isnt very magnetic and would be better with a zip op

Very good product. We have used from birth baby is soon to grow out of it but I have enjoyed having him in it. I didn`t notice for weeks that it had a hook to hang a toy from I assumed it didn`t have one so this was a bonus.
The top cover was a bit disappointing as the magnets that aren`t within place, aren`t as strong as I would have expected and my little man often kicks it off.
It's very easy to put together and take down again which is great as I have a bad back so makes things easier.
The waterproof cover is good as I have only seen full covers but this has a zip in the middle to get our baby out or let some air in without taking it off fully.

    • Strengths:

Smart looking, cosy and comfortable, easy to attatch/detach from base

    • Weaknesses:

It's expensive and not needed as seat of pram lies flat for newborn, it takes up a lot of space.

This is a smart carycot and my daughter is comfortable in it however we have only actually used it on the pram a handful of times as it doesn't fit in my small car if I have passengers and it's easier just to leave the pram seat on and use the lie flat parent facing set up on that. I can see it being used more by people who mainly walk or use public transport and won't be constantly having to swap between units. We have mainly used this for my daughter to sleep in downstairs and she finds it comfortable.

The carycot is easy to take on and off the base unit and can be folded flatter for storage although this is not a practical day to day option. I like the feature of the ventilation panel in the hood for hot weather. I don't like that I can't see my daughter's face clearly whilst pushing the pram with the cover on and due to it's attachments was unable to adjust this, therefore tended to use blankets instead.

    • Strengths:

      Good sturdy cot

    • Weaknesses:

The cover doesn't attach very well so if it's windy it flies up.

Bought this as part of a travel system. My son is 8 weeks and I have already moved him into the main buggy as I felt the carry cot was getting too small for him. I also felt that the cover wasn't very suitable in windy weather as it only attaches with 2 poppers at the top so a gust of wind could get under it and flip the cover up leaving the baby exposed to the wind.
The carrycot itself was sturdy and easy to fit into the pram base.
