I have taken folic acid all through my pregnancy . I have low iron and this really held me feel better. Folic acid is taken in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy to help the fetus grow .
The only doent sife is that folic acid can make it a tad hard to go to the loo for a bowle movement but that's perfectly normal when taking this.

When I got these tablets the packaging seemed a little unnecessary. I’ve tried a few different types of folic acid as I think they have been making me feel sicker. Whether it is because I am now entering my second trimester I didn’t feel sick! I can sometimes find tablets hard to swallow and found the pregnacare ones fat too big. These were perfect. I am planning to taking folic acid all the way through my pregnancy so will be sticking to these.

Provides required amount of folic acid. I personally only used for a week and moved onto pregnacare as it provides other required nutrients for a healthy pregnancy. This provides the basic need for folic acid so it does what it is supposed to. Ideal if you only need folic acid supplements and nothing else.

For a folic acid tablet this product can take on the best. The strength of the tablet is the recommended dosage, so only one pill needs to be taken each day. Price is quite competitive online, but I have seen the same strength pills available for less in high street supermarkets. On first opening the bottle I noticed that the bottle was security sealed with foil over the neck of the bottle. The bottle was only 1/3 full though, so quite a bit of unnecessary packaging. The bottle could have been more compact.
Once inside, the pills were small and coated so were easy to swallow and didn't leave a funky taste in my mouth. As far as Folic acid products go, this is definitely one to consider.
