Its perfect and light weight. Its super easy to install and compatible with the isofix car base. Love how easy it is to fit into the dlx pram as well.

The Joie Gemm car seat was provided as part of a travel system. Although perfect when newborn, 10 weeks on it seems to be fairly snug for our baby despite her being well within the recommended size for the newborn insert (would be way too big if we removed the insert). It’s very easy to attach and detach from our iso-fix but unfortunately the same can’t be said for when it’s put on the pram wheels as the buttons to release it are in an awkward position. The car seat is also very heavy!

Very easy to use and install to car special if you have isofix. It fits to litrax 4 pushchair but better if you buy adapters rather that install without them.

When our baby was a newborn this seat was ideal as the newborn insert keeps them really secure so their heads don’t bobble around whilst also being nice and comfy. Our baby would always fall asleep as soon as he got in it. My biggest weakness for this is how heavy it is, and I also think it can only really be used for around 6 months (depending on baby’s size) - where as when we bought it the sales advisor told us it would last upto atleast a year. It is handy if you have a mothercare pushchair as this car seat fits in the frame so if baby falls asleep in car you don’t need to wake them when you get out. Overall this car seat is good value for money

Our Joie Gemm car seat came included with our Ember travel system. For the price we paid it is very good money and will last until the baby is 12kg which is a good weight when on maternity pay.
The seat itself is in a stylish black colour with a very modern design. Looks good in the car on the isofix base or on the pushchair. It does seem very durable aswel as i am forever changing it to car seat or pushchair and it hasnt broke on me yet although i have notice slight fraying on the cover by the handle.
To transfer from one to another is easily done with some clip on adjusters you just click the seat into place. However even though i have done this a million times still cant seem to get it done in one, always need to manoeuvre the seat somehow!
From leaving the hospital til now at 15weeks old my little girl seems very comfortable in the seat however when we required to go up a stage the straps at the back up is very difficult and takes patience whilst reading instructions to do so.
I love Joie products so will deffintely get another Joie car seat when needed but maybe go for the 360 as putting the baby in the seat when already in the car can be very time consuming and baby can get quite agitated.

Bought this carsest to fit with my pram. It is so easy to attach to the pram chassis, just a simple click and baby always seems nice and snug and secure. Also really easy to use without any isofix bases. Downsides are this carsest is quite heavy to carry around, regardless of the size of your baby. Also adjusting the straps was a bit of a nightmare, leaving the hospital took us a bit longer than we expected because of this.

Light weight car seat. Little one loves it and loves to nap in it. Only downside is the carseat comes out far when fitted in the car so the passenger is nearly in the windscreen!

This car seat is great from newborn by using the installed insert. It gives peace of mind as baby is securely strapped in to the comfortable straps. It is easy to use especially Oakley with the isofix base. only thing we found is that it is heavier than some car seats so can seem very heavy when baby inside.

I love this car seat, it's easy to connect to the base in the car and then to transfer direct to the push chair, only negative is that it is a heavy car seat and if you have a little chunk like me, you need to start building on those muscles

I love this car seat! It’s super like when empty making it easy for my to put in the car or on the pushchair with the adapters after a c section. My son is quite chunky however so at 3 months which pretty much removed all the extras to make sure he has enough space. I lost the manual & found it online!!

We got the as part of deal with carry cot and pram.
Was great for new born but once baby started to really put weight on, is rather heavy.
Baby is now 7 months and is a bit too heavy for myself to carry and take from car but is easy to fit.

I originally wanted a maxi cosi but wouldn't fit in my car. So chose the joie. I prefer the way it looks, the padding is thicker and softer. It's looks nice and comfier. Easy to operate. Can take it apart to clean. The colour is lovely. And the price is reasonable and affordable
  • 4.13/5
    • Strengths:

Easy to carry from car to home, not too heavy and comfy for new borns too.

    • Weaknesses:

The belt that fastens baby arms together to keep them in one place was really tough to loosen up

A regular rear facing car seat that can be fixed with a regular adult seatbelt. Good quality and light to carry around in for the baby with good fastening that keeps baby safe and in one place with any impact from bumps or abrupt stopping. It was easy to put together with the instructions booklet. It's got good space for the baby to wriggle about in and good padding for better support
  • 5.00/5
    • Strengths:

Light, canopy built in, connects with 5 point harness

    • Weaknesses:

Small bit of material which goes around the bottom of the strap easy to lose

    • Comfortable
    • Value for money
    • Easy to use
    • Design
This car seat is ideal. It has a newborn insert and my daughter is still extremely comfortable in it. The price is great and the quality is very good. Only drawback is that there is a small cover for the strap between the baby’s legs and that is easy to lose/ the seat is slightly tricky to do up if it’s on but not a big deal. Also MAKE SURE THE HANDLE IS PROPERLY CLICKED otherwise your baby will fall out!

I got this on special offer with the isofix base so was really good value for money.
Has been a great car seat that is easy to get baby in and out of. Lasted us until my little boy was about 1. At that point I could no longer lift him in it!
Has been a great car seat and I will be using again for baby #2 soon.

Being a bit strapped for cash we opted for this seat and we are so glad we did. Fits maxi cosy adaptors to be used on our buggy, well made and insert is easy to remove and clean, with the other fabric parts being easy to wipe clean. It is a VERY heavy seat, even without a baby in but good value for money. My daughter seems comfortable. We have had issues with the harness seizing however this is resolved by repositioning and fiddling with the back.

Bought this as we’d alresdy about the Joie multi stage seat with the anchor base as we awaited the arrival of little one, then realised that seat does not come with a handle so we felt we wanted an infant seat which had a handle for baby’s first car seat (which also fit on that base). We’re pleased with the car seat, they grey design is very stylish and we liked the newborn insert which offered additional protection and more snug fit for baby’s first weeks. Good pull cord to secure baby in the seat and shoulder pads are soft. The head rest inside can be height adjusted so you lift it up a little more as baby gets taller which is very good for ensuring they are secure. I would recommend this car seat, especially as you can keep the same base and move onto the next size seat.
