My son is in love with this soother. I had one from hospital but unfortunately we lost it somewhere, to replace this soother i bought different soother(different brand) but he didn't like it. I have tried about 3 different brands, but he didn't like them. Unfortunately shops Like Tesco,Asda,Morrisons and other shops don't sell them so it is so hard to find them in store apart from Boots, only Boots sell them. I really recommend this brand, so amazing quality but quite expensive.

Didn’t really get on with this product, guessing every baby is different but he didn’t latch well at all. Wouldn’t recommend for breastfed babies but that’s my opinion, however good quality product, just a shame about the teat

I bought these dummies as my daughter absolutely loves the Nuk bottles. She took to these straight away also. I only bought 2 to begin with but went straight back and bought another set when I saw how much she loved them. They settle her straight away when she is upset and help her drift over to sleep at night. The designs are cute and I don't mind anyone seeing her with them in her mouth. They are small as she's only 5 weeks, had them since she was born, so they don't take up the whole of her face. I also love the fact they come with a holder to keep them in. Would highly recommend to others.

This is the only dummy my daughter would take, she's now on the NUK 6-18 month dummy. They are nice design and size, not too big. I've found the quality to be excellent.

Gender neutral, non-obtrusive designs with silicone or latex teats. Comes in a box to sterilise in the microwave in 30 seconds, can be put in steam steriliser and have held up very well over many washes although a couple of the teats have discoloured slightly after using sterilising solution. I’m impressed with the brand and design of these dummies - we have (or have had) lots (0-2, 0-6 and 6-18 months) as they are a favourite with my little girl.

We have used Nuk dummies as we use Nuk bottles, we have had no issues with dummies they do exactly what they should and in our opinion look much nicer than some other bigger brands. My baby is happy with them so it’s win win

    • Strengths:

Small teats, perfect size for a prem baby or a new born struggling with a dummy.

    • Weaknesses:

Only come in 2 sizes I have found, so the teat gets quite large as may be hard to transition to.

I have used/use NUK soothers for both my children, my first was a prem baby and the nuk was just the right size her her tiny month. My second we struggled to get her to have a dummy and I bought a few different ones and she just kept spitting them out. I came across the NUK soothers while out shopping and remembered we had them for our first. So I got home and tried with my daughter and she took to them so much better. The shape is perfect for her mouth and she won’t take any other soother still. It’s beneficial as I know it won’t damage her teeth coming through. Would recommend to any new parent.

Finally, after 3 other brand of dummies, this was our fourth and I was relieved that this worked. The test was stratically designed to fit with the shape of the roof of their mouth and tongue to encourage a natural suck. The dummy is attractively designed and comes in a range of not overly offensive colours. Lots of pastels! Which I love!
    Easy to clean!
Value for money I think is it’s only weakness, slightly overpriced at £5.50 for 2 when usually you can pick them up in the region of £3/£4 for 2 or occasionally 4 for £6.

These are the 4th brand of dummies we tried for
My little boy as he has silent reflux and so was desperate to try and get him something to help.
The teats are smaller than most and so he doesn’t gag on them, they have some lovely designs suitable for boys or girls

These dummies are great due to the shape! My little boy loves them. However they can be expensive to replace when lost!
They come in many designs and colours which is fantastic! And can also get flow in the dark ones for bed time which makes finding the dummy at 3am so much easier!

My little girl was born a few weeks before her due date and was in the special care unit for a while I did take a dummy into the hospital with me but it was far to big even though it was suitable for babies so the special care unit gave my little girl this dummy and it help her no end to comfort her and she prefers this brand to all the others

This is a good sized dummy for small mouths. It has to go in one way up. So once babies pull it out they initially struggle to get it back in the correct way. Also it has a handle which is both a good and bad point - good as its easy to attach dummy clips, the negative point is my son kept catching his thumb in the handle while night time flailing. So he would pull it out easily.

The smallest dummies on the market. Perfect for tiny babies. My twins where breastfed and it did not couse a confusion. It took me a while to find a dummy they would not gag on. They took it straight away. Would highly recommend.

A nice first sized dummy. They look nice and come in a handy wee zip lock bag. A range of colours would be nice. I also felt that my wee boy could only use it for a very short time, but I suppose this is right enough considering it's a first dummy!

I breastfeed my little one so I was nervous about using a smoother for the first time. I needn't have been he took this dummy without much problem and was still breast feeding well afterwards. It's got a lovely shaped teat which is flattened which I think he prefers as some of the father round ones he has never accepted. Robert liked this one so much that when I went to getting more I brought the set of 2 of the genius soothers with the protective case (his first one was a gift/freebie). Now he is teething the handle offers a greater area to chew. Super soother!

This was given as a gift when my daughter was born. Had tried other soothers but Seren didn’t get on with them but when she had this one it instantly helped!
Did leave a ring mark around her face, but suspect this was from the teat length being quite short and her needing the next size up in soothers. However this never bothered her and always helped settle her. Only bought her new ones once she was 6 months because I struggled to find soothers the same shape, so made do with this until then!
    Would highly recommend!

Description

The NUK Genius Soother was developed in collaboration with dental experts worldwide. It is the new generation of NUK Soothers, based on the approved orthodontic NUK shape, but improved with a softer and more flexible baglet, to reduce the pressure on baby's jaw and teeth even more and prevent the risk of teeth misalignment.

A handy bag keeps the paciier clean and safe when at home or on the go.

The NUK Air System aims to ensure the mouthpiece remains soft and flexible, encouraging the correct development of your child's teeth.

- Integrated grooves enable saliva to flow away from the baby's mouth preventing skin irritations.
