I have tried a number of sterilising options and this for me has definitely been the best. It's very easy to use and has ample room for sterilising bottles as well as anything else such as dummies and pump parts, and has genuinely made my life easier. I've also tried a Tommee Tippee steriliser but this definitely outranks it because of its design. I can't really fault it aside from the tongs that come with the steriliser which are no good for picking up anything other that bottles teats.Read more - Strengths:

I used this steriliser for around 8 months and found it absolutely fantastic in terms of storing; living in a small flat meant space was limited, this fitted easily into the microwave when not being used! Great sterilising in a few minutes meant no waiting around! - Strengths:

As a first time mother who had to start bottle feeding this product was great. We used to use boiling water but it was time consuming. We have saved a lot of time with this as you can set the microwave and continue doing other tasks.The price is the reason I bought it as it was one of the cheapest steriliser as well as it doesn't take a lot of space.Read more

Good steriliser but I personally think is designed for breastfeeding mums as it doesn't sterilise more than 4 bottles at a time. I am still using it and I would recommend it to everyone as I am happy with it.

I found this product very easy and simple to use but I did find opening and closing it to be a challenge. I have to admit I have scolded my fingers opening it up after its been in the microwave.

We had one of these initially and still use it on rare occasions when we need to sterilize something quickly! However as a sleep deprived new Mum I found it all too easy to almost burn myself on the steam once I unclipped the lid & took it off. We went for a cold water sterilizer in the end as should I have needed to use this microwave one in the night I am sure that I would've burned myself.Read more
Easy to add water to create the steam in the microwave, easy to fit in what bottles/bits you need to sterilize & fits well in my microwave. Good for taking with you to use on the go if staying with friends/family perhaps! Just be careful when opening! - Strengths:

We purchased this without reading any reviews as we needed one that day. Never had any issues with it.
The only downside for us is that it doesn't hold many bottles as it can only be the size of a microwave. So it sometimes feels that the microwave is constantly in use sterilizing bottles. -

Description

The Philips AVENT Microwave Steriliser has a compact size and can fit in most microwaves available. Really portable so you can take it whereever you go, to ensure you can keep sterile up to 4 bottles at a time with minimal effort. Anyone can master its use; just add water, pop in the bottles (or what ever needs steralising) and microvave for 2-6 minutes (depending on wattage of your microwave). There are side clips to ensure an effective seal, and contents will remain sterile for up to 24 hours if the lid remains closed.
