I have been looking for an alternative to disposable nappies due to the amount of waste going into a landfill, especially now with having 2 children.
I bought the bambino miosolo as they are birth to Potty, and so will fit both my baby and toddler. They fit from approx 8lb so my baby started using them from 5 weeks old on the smallest setting, and my toddler uses them on the middle setting. There a 3 settings easily changed by poppers, so we still have a good while until my 21 month old outgrows these nappies. They have Velcro to fasten around the waist which makes it very easy as you put them on similarly to disposables, the only difference being it doesn't need to be tight on the waist (you need to be able to put 2 fingers in the front of the nappy, not completely tight) and the frilly bits around the leg get tucked in, as the photo shows.
It seems expensive at first glance, but when you think of just how many nappies you use in a day, every day for so many years, particularly with more than one child you realise just how much money you save in the long run!
This set includes boosters which are ideal for heavy wetters- with one of these in my toddler can easily get 4 hours wear; possibly longer but I haven't actually tried this.
The only flaw Im aware of is that very occaionaly it is possible to get a compression leak- so where the child is sat on the nappy over a period of time, compressing the nappy, it can cause a bit of wetness to go through. This has only ever happened for me on one occasion when worn in a car seat, but he had also just had a very big drink before getting in the car which could also affect it, both filling the nappy and sitting on it at the same time. This really isn't a common occurrence so it doesn't put me off.

My absolute favourite part is the beautiful designs- they are so bright and cheerful, its lovely! As for the cleaning of the nappies it's not as hard as it seems. When soiled I hold the nappy under the flush on the toilet which gets of most of it, then place them in the storage bucket until wash time. Wet nappies go straight in the bucket. When washing, pull out the attached insert (using the loops so you don't have to touch any pee) and place in the washing machine. I do a 30 minute pre-wash to clear them up a bit, then a full wash at 40. Don't add fabric softener to the wash, or napisan as these damage the waterproof aspect of the nappy, its best to use washing powder only (powder is reccomended over tablets too). So wash, hang out to dry and you're ready to go!
Overall I'm so glad I bought This, its has been so amazing and so glad I made the swap!

I find the Bambino Mio range good, I started using for the sole purpose that they are more environmentally friendly. I found that we did have a few leakages so a booster was required to stop that unless you want to change more often than you would with a regular nappy. I find them really easy to clean and dry without too much hassle and have found that the product print still looks good so they have good wear. Easy to put on and take off aswell with minimal effort to adjust as they grow. I do find in comparison to others they are on the expensive side but they are a great product that will last and save money in the long run so an investment.

I love these and have used them for both of my two. Mainly when at home so I'm not carrying wet/ dirty nappies around with me when we're out. Love the designs, bought four different types in an Aldi baby event. They are quite bulky if baby has close fitting clothes on, but this isn't that much of a problem. I'd definitely recommend these even if just for use in the home. Will definitely be continuing to use them with my 3rd child that I'm pregnant with now, possibly even more so and I will look into buying more, because I have recently come across a bag that you can put dirty ones in if you're not at home.

My son used these from birth and we had a lot of leaks around the legs but now he has chunked up abit they leak less so I would say they are not strictly a from birth to potty nappy.
Velcro makes it easy to fit with tabs for washing.
They wash up well and dry well either on the line or in the tumble drier on low.
The prints are really cute and it makes you want to collect them !
My husband prefers these nappies due to the Velcro over poppers which he finds fiddly to use.

It took me a bit to get used to using these nappies. Had to put through a few washes to build up the absorbancy (like most eco nappies). Iam using the ones with detachable cloth insert.
    Nappy cover:
Great designs. Easy to wash. Velcro fastening to adjust to growing your baby. There is a flap within the nappy to tuck up the cloth insert. I feel the cover holds the nappy in place well and doesnt leave marks on my babys legs.

    Cloth insert:
Needs 5- 6 washes to build up a good absorbancy. A quick fold of the cloth and it can be placed onto the nappy. Easy to wash in machine.

Overall this nappy is comfortable, looks great and allows my baby to move freely.

We have been trying these reusables for about 2 weeks now and my little one is 15 weeks.
Pros: contain poo explosions amazingly, very cute designs, easy to use and wash lovely.
Cons: seem to leak easily, will need boosters, can be costly to build up a stash

I really like bbino mio All in one nappies. They are so easy to use and feel good quality. You do need to use bamboo or cotton boosters with them though otherwise they do leak after about 1.5hours (with boosters they will last 3hr. I love the patterns they do at Bambino mio.

Recently brought these whilst they was on offer at the aldi baby event, I love the cute designs of them I brought 2 of them then went and brought another 3 of them their fab, they fit my daughter perfectly, she hasn’t leaked out of them yet. Love the pull tags and the dry quickly over night. I will be purchasing more when I see them in a sale again! The only thing that puts me off is the price of them but other than that they are a fantastic product and I can not rate them high enough.

We love these nappies but have only just started using them consistently as they can be a bit bulky and restrictive on smaller babies e.g. they can make it tricky for them to sit and bend in the middle. They are however incredibly easy to use, they wash well and keep their colour. When used with mio fresh powder they clean and sanitise brilliantly and the velcro tabs can be closed down on themselves when washing so as not to create pulls on other clothing. Bonus that they can be washed at the same time as normal clothes too. The absorbancy is good as long as you follow the guidelines of washing them a few times before use and don't use fabric conditioner. They dry quickly when the insert is pulled out and they're easy to put back together when dry.
The designs are lovely, bright and funky with a beautiful nature theme throughout. You can also get booster inserts for use overnight when you need to boost absorbancy although they can make an already bulky nappy even beefier. Not a problem as long as baby's clothes allow room for them. I would definitely recommend these and they can usually be found on offer in Asda. Although they seem a little pricey you do make your money back on them and it feels great not to be sending thousands of disposable nappies to landfill too!

I bought 18 miosolo nappies before my son was born, 8 were included in a starter pack that was on sale during real nappy week and the other 10 I picked up when they were on offer in Aldi. If you can get them on offer then they’re good value for money but I wouldn’t pay full price for them as they’re very expensive RRP. These are my husbands preference out of our cloth nappy stash due to how easy they are to put on, they are very similar to a disposable when it comes to putting them on, I personally prefer my other brands that are fastened with poppers as my LO can unfasten the Velcro in the miosolo. I’ve found the Velcro is starting to go on some of my miosolos. I can usually get a good 3-4 hours out of these nappies during the day, boosted with a bamboo insert but my son is quite a light wetter. I also use these at night time boosted with a mioboost and a bamboo insert and they very rarely leak at night, my son sleeps 7pm-7am, but again my son is a light wetter so I know mos people can’t get away with using these as a night nappy. Overall a great cloth nappy, not my favourite brand but that’s just due to a personal preference for popper closures.

We have used these as night time nappies for our little boy from when he weighed 8lb. We put a little booster in there to avoid leaks and so far we’ve been very impressed. He can sleep for 10 hours without any leaks. They are a little bulky on his little bottom so we use a different brand under clothes in the day, but I’m really happy with the night performance of these nappies.

These nappies are a good reusable Option. They are all in one so are simple to use but do take a little while to dry. Being an all in one nappy they can only be used once in between washes but they are an affordable option for a more eco friendly nappy.

This product is widely available, has good designs and is fairly slim and very easy to use.

However, the fact that it has a microfibre insert means they don’t last as long as some other nappies that are the same price or cheaper.

They do dry really fast though.

Brilliant nappies. Easy to use and very easy to wash and clean. Great that they are available in most supermarkets and on Amazon. Although I find to buy them as a single it's expensive. I also found my daughter didn't fit into them comfortable until she was 5 months. Worth the investment though

I couldn't reccommend these enough they are incredible saved me so much money already my LO is 7 weeks and I used 60 disposable nappies in 10 days! So I soon switched to these they are so cute in design and so comfy for baby.. the liner is attached to the nappy so you can't loose them reccommed the booster pads for night time I don't even change her nappy at night any more!

These nappies compete very well against other reusable nappies and I would recommend them over higher priced competitors. I have tried a couple of brands and unfortunately haven't got on well with reusable. I love that they are eco friendly and kind to bums but they leak at night time and need constantly changing during the day. Because of the extra washing, it takes away from the eco friendliness and can become too much for a busy mom.

I like that these nappies are like disposable nappies (all in one) which saves time when changing a fussy baby. There are multiple designs to choose from, making it a fun product.

Over time this product works out cheaper than buying disposables as the nappy grows with baby. This makes life easier, especially on maternity leave.

It also means less waste going to landfill which is a lot better for the environment and I like to play my part. They are easy to wash, however, they do take longer than expected to dry.

Another downside is they are a bit big under clothes, this has led to some clothes not fitting properly and then I go back to a disposable.

On a small baby when using the poppers on the smallest fit they are a bit bulky, but the fact they then grow with the baby means great value for money as only the one outlay, the liners are cheap too. Easy to wash with the laundry net & nappy bin, quick drying, and they look so cute! Lots of choice in design!

We love cloth nappies. The all in one types are a favourite here as they are simple to put on and similar to disposables. We find the Mio solos to be fairly cheap compared to some of the other brands and the micro fibre dries fast after washing, however we need to use a bamboo booster too to avoid leaks, which can make the nappies a little bulky.
The patterns are really cute and the fit is great on out little boy.
A great product to try if your just starting with cloth nappies

I love these nappies. They are so easy to use and we have been using them since my daughter was around 3 months old. They adjust easily and they don't cause irritation if changed frequently.
They do take a while to dry and can look grubby, especially the Velcro where fibres can collect. My baby's bum can look a little bulky but overall a great product.

im a serious cloth bum addict and i love these nappies i have 15+ of them (partner doesnt realise how many we have in total). The ease of these nappies means that even as a disabled parent i have no issues using them. These are my go to night time nappy as i find the absorb more so will last 12 hours with the booster and not soak through in the morning. The fabric overall is so much softer than most other brands so softer on gentle skin.
