I was given a lot of advice regarding what item I should purchase for weaning. Out of all of them we chose this and it was a great choice. The easy to use masher with the ergonomic handle makes mashing any food into a either a lumpy or smooth puree so easy. Which is great, as your little one gets bigger you can continue to use this as you control the thickness of the puree. It is easy to wash and very portable. We take it everywhere. As firat time parents it has taken the anxiety away from us.

We received this as a gift from a friend and I’m so glad we did!
When we started weaning I thought I would try it before getting a purée maker and I haven’t looked back!
All baby’s food gets steamed and mashed in here and put into the little storage pots it comes with.
Works well steaming veg and fruit in the microwave, the combinations are fun and endless! Would very highly recommend this product if you have a microwave and you are starting to wean.
We even used it to steam some broccoli for our dinner!!

    Really good product. Recommend.
Really good product, nice and sturdy so you feel comfortable mashing food in it. The masher works surprisingly well. The lid makes it really easy to prepare and store food.

    Small criticisms:
    - The spoon that comes with it is pretty large and completely solid, would be good to have a small one with a rubber tip that would make it easier on baby and easier to transport.
    - The bowl has grooves in it - which are obviously there to help mash food - however food gets stuck in it, which means food gets wasted and its a bit harder to clean.

These are a great travel companion or if you just want to quickly mash something up whilst you're doing 100 other things (as you are as a mum). Use this product all the time.

I love using the masher to puree bananas for my little one. It's great as you can mash it up on the go, feed and then pop the lid on to save from spillage on your journey home.
The downside is that its really only good for super soft fruits and can get a bit messy when mashing.

Super easy to use and handy especially when out and about or on holiday. This all in one masher, bowl and lid meant everything was there for me to use and washing it couldn’t be any easier. The bowl holds a fair amount of food, and any leftover can be kept for later to take home without spillage.

We were recently on a family holiday and I didn't want to have to take a blender with us to make up my daughter's food. I saw this and thought I would give it a try and I am so glad that I did! The bottom of the bowl is textured meaning you can really get out any lumps if you need to. It's easy to use and the one I have also came with an insert for steaming things in the microwave so you can cook in it as well as mash. Absolute god send in my eyes, one of the best purchases I've made this year.

Weaning, it turns out, is much more faff than I thought. Hence the need for products like this which make it a lot easier. I didn't realise how important it would be to mash up food on the go, or simply just to be able to grab some banana in the morning when I'm stretched for time, quickly mash a small portion up (and munch on the rest myself) and be able to feed the little one instantly. There are a few great points about this- it is strong but lightweight, small enough to stick in a lunch bag when out and about, and the ridges in the bowl make mashing a lot easier to do. The lid is also fantastic as it means food is portable and also doesnt get all over my bag when I'm out. Would definitely reccomend for the start of the weaning journey, here's hoping it will still be useful when I'm further into it!

This is great with a toddler, they can learn to mash there own food, you can show them they can do it then they are learning new skills.
Nice sizes bowl for portions of mash potatoes or side of mashed carrots ect. Mu son now two years old loves mashing his own food.

I used this on a day out over the half term last year and I loved it. We had a long car journey and we stopped at services and brought some fruit and used it in this. My eldest daughter loved mashing it up for her sister

We’ve recently started weaning and the masher has been so handy. Mashes anything soft quickly and the food is ready to serve your little one straight from the bowl.
Far less messy than using a hand blender and faffing with multiple kitchen utensils at home. Really handy for travelling and feeding meals on the go too. Saves money buying pouches... it’s light and small so I just keep in my bag and then mash up fruit when I’m out and about.

This is a great little product when baby first starts weaning if you want the option to mash babies food. You can take it with you anywhere and use it in the microwave to steam veg and mash away. Its also very useful to stick in the baby bag if you are eating out, as then you can spoon in some veg mash away and use the bowl to feed baby. Its a much cheaper and portable option then a baby food blender. Its been fabulous for me!

I often make my son meals at different times to myself so needed something to cook small portions in for weaning - this does just the job! I’ve steamed vegetables in it and mashed into different consistencies, also steamed and mashed fruit in it but the juices seem to have stained the bowl. Still love it and use it every day!
