As a breastfeeding mum the Next 2 Me is potentially the best thing I’ve ever bought! I was sceptical at first. I tried it out before my daughter arrived and it was clunky and makes getting in and out of bed 100x harder. BUT from about a week after she was born, when I finally realised that I could use the Next to Me as a co-sleep helper and not a traditional crib everything clicked into place. I find she settles much better because she can touch me, and four months on I’m still in love with it. She’ll babble me awake, happy that I’m right next to her. I’m content because I can just open my eyes and know she’s okay. And feeding her during the night we don’t even get up. I pick her up, nurse her and then put her right back down. She’s so happy.

The crib is bigger than a Moses basket so even at nearly four months, she’s still got loads of room and I doubt she’ll outgrow it before she’s sitting up and has to move to a bigger cot. It’s considerably bigger than the other bedside cribs which is why I bought it! I didn’t want to spent that much money on something she would be out of at three months. Six months of sleeping seems more worth the £150 price tag!

It’s soft, easy to clean and lets a lot of air circulate. It’s also easy to put against the bed and move away if you need to (simply unclip). It’s amazing when they have colds, because you can tip one side up a bit so they’re at an angle. There’s no faffing around with a pillow under the mattress to raise their head. My baby has had colds all winter and it’s been invaluable in helping her (and me) get some sleep!

Plus an added bonus is the sensory play - my baby spends an inordinate amount of time scratching the fabric, making a noise and giggling at it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love it and will be gutted when she inevitably has to move out of it!!

I love that my baby is next to me while sleeping so I can have my rest and just look over and see he is safe without having to get up, also brilliant for breastfeeding as I just have to lift him up and feed him straight away.

I love my next to me crib! Was the best by, having my baby so close to me at night time is amazing. She's right there without her being in the bed and at risk! The height can be adjusted which is very handy, you can have the side up or down and still be able to see your baby. Its bigger than a Moses basket so she will get more use out of it too.

Absolutely love the next to me crib, we firstly bought a Moses basket however our daughter grew out of that quickly. The next to me crib has so much more space for her to move around in and she’s still in it with plenty of room and six and a half months. It’s way to set up and easy to move around we take it with us all the time. It’s lovely to have my daughter so close when sleeping as it puts my mind at ease that she’s fine. It’s a absolute must have in my opinion and I have recommended this item to many friends.

This is the number one item for any new mum, in my eyes! My baby slept in this from birth til nearly 7 months and now and again even now if we ever stay over relatives. She still fits, and she is a long large baby! It goes up and down to fit the size of your bed, and when my daughter had a cough we were able to raise one side of it so she was a little upright to help with this at night. The design is great and we only have a very small bedroom and it still fine down the side of our room. I have to admit it does sound very fragile and perhaps a bit ‘rickety’ when moving it around, as if it is not very high quality. However it never seemed to be unsafe or unsteady for my baby, even when she started to roll over in it (and when my 4 year old niece decided to jump in and join her on a few occasions too!) The only real weakness I would say, is the mattress provided seems very hard! I added some blankets under my matress sheets to add some comfort. I know health visitors advise against this, I just felt it was like my baby was sleeping on concrete if I did not. These were not fluffy big blankets, just something to soften the blow a little. I also found when my daughter was little that the bed seemed too big for her, so I rolled up a towel and added that under the sheet, just to line her feet so she felt some comfort. (She was born in 2018 heatwave so swaddling wasn’t possible)

Over all I would recommend any one buying this. It doesn’t look it, but it’s also really easy to fold down and put into the carry bag provided to take else where. We loved it and have got it ready to use for our next baby too! It’s my no one product and best investment in all the baby products we purchased. (Saying that, I think it is worth the money!)

Can not fault this product at all, it was been a god send for my little one, struggled to get her to sleep anywhere, we bought this bed, and because she was close to me she started sleeping better, the night feeds/dream feeds were so much easier, can tilt the bed slightly by the kegs for when she has a cold and because she also suffers with reflux, the bed is very big so she can spread out, can also zip the side up for extra safety. Love this bed so much and would recommend every new parent to invest.

Chicco next to me is absolutely safe and good quality material. Price is very good and the mattress included is comfortable! What makes this crib unique is dirt you can easily take on or check your baby without wake up and your baby can look at you as well. Especially if you are breastfeeding this one is the best because you don't even need to stand up during the night! Can be a normal crib too and you can use it until the sixth month.
    Recommended to all mums!

I found this product after struggling to get my new baby to sleep in the Moses basket. Unfortunately my baby likes to sleep on her belly but also see us at the beginning for security. The first night in the next2me crib she slept through. It’s also really handy for breastfeeding as you can lie down and breastfeed without baby getting into your bed. It also folds down and is useful if your having a night away with baby or if baby is sleeping over somewhere. The only down size is the price but to me it was worth the money for the full nights sleep.

Overall we have found this cot invaluable and we have only been home with our newborn for 2 weeks. It’s is perfect for feeding throughout the night as you can easily reach over for baby. The cot attaches to the bed and with the side down it is a lovely safe way to sleep close to your little one. We found the price quite expensive at the time of buying and found there were not many offers on this product.

I got given the next 2 me and I love it. My daughter has grown out of her Moses basket but too young to go in the Corbin her room. The next2me is perfect for her. The side comes down and the crib goes next to my bed. I'm able to comfort my baby. My daughter enjoys it too. With there being more space she's starting to spread out more and moves around in her sleep. It helps my daughter because she can also see us

Where do i begin with the next2me crib?!
it was a gift, at first i was so set on getting a moses basket as that's what we had with our first baby, but wow, im so glad we got gifted a next2me crib. Was so convenient with the night feeds as i was breastfeeding, not too much disturbance for baby transferring her from crib to my bed as they were so close. There is different height settings to accommodate different height beds, legs that fold in to suit divan beds & you can tilt the crib down handy if baby has reflux or is suffering with a stuffy nose. Its also so handy as the side folds down so you can co-sleep with baby. The official Next2Me Crib sheets are expensive priced at £20 for 2, so we bought alternatives from mothercare which were about £7. We are still using this crib now & our little girl is 5.5 months old. il be sad to take her out the crib to be honest as its been amazing! would definitely recommend to any new parent that's deciding on first bed for baby.

It’s so easy to put our little bundle in and take him out, even at night! He loves his crib and having his own space. When he’s having a clingy night, I can easily stay in bed and place my hand on him or hold his hand and easily settles down. This is a super bonus in the middle of the night l, especially when we feel a little tired. When I’m not in the room, like having a shower, or rush for the loo, it’s so easy to pull up the sides, clip and zip!
I wish they made them for baby to stay in them for longer than 6 months, as we love him being a part of our bed.

Love having my baby close so I can comfort him easily in the night. Great varying height positions and able to drop the one side slightly at an angle to assist with baby reflux. Good travel cot that is easy to put together and take down. Only thing not keen on is the side feet, although they fold to push alongside my bed, they don't hold and sometimes notice have pushed away from bed slightly which leaves a small gap. Use the straps to tie to bed to secure however.

So happy with this product. I don’t use it anymore as baby is too big but my friend not has it for her baby and she also loves it! It’s perfect for parents who want to co-sleep but don’t want the baby in their bed. The mattress is firm and seems comfortable. You can also have the side up which we found was handy when the baby start rolling. The only thing that I found annoying was the sheets seemed so expensive. Other than this, a great product. Highly recommend.

When choosing between a moses basket/cot/crib we went for the Chicco Next2Me because it allows safe co sleep and lasts until baby is 6 months old.

The best thing is that being on the same level as my bed I can reach him easily and help him settle with my touch and pick him up for night feeds without having to get out of the bed and bend over the crib

My baby is currently 3 months old and we used the Chicco Next2Me since birth and he still has plenty of space in it so we will be using it for at least a couple more months

We love it and my mum is always saying if they had one when I was a baby she would of loved it

When choosing between a moses basket/cot/crib we went for the Chicco Next2Me because it allows safe cosleep and lasts until baby is 6 months old (when we plan to move him into his room). We don't have enough space in our bedroom for a cot and a moses basket would have been outgrown too quickly. My baby is currently 3 months old and we used the Chicco Next2Me since birth and he still has plenty of space in it so we will be using it for at least a couple more months. Being bigger than a moses basket and regular crib means that as a newborn he felt a little bit lost and would not settle unless swaddled; when temperature dropped after summer we started using a sleeping bag and it helped. One thing I love is that you can set the legs on different heighs, so the crib is tilted and his head is higher up than the feet, which is very useful in case of reflux (he went through a fase during which he would bring up milk after every feed, sometimes up to 2 hours after the feed). And the best thing is that being on the same level as my bed I can reach him easily and help him settle with my touch and pick him up for night feeds without having to get out of the bed and bend over the crib. It's also lightweight and comes with a carrier bag, so you can take it with you as a travel cot.

We could not have coped with anything other than our next to me cot. Can be put at a range of levels. Our son has reflux and it’s been fab at helping with his reflux as you can set it to have the top slightly raised. Amazing in the night when baby stirs as you can just reach your hand over and settle them without having to get fully out of bed.
