I love the look of this pram. that's initially what drew me to it, the price is great for what you get too.. I like the fact you can go from parent to forward facing in literally a swivel and it it REALLY easy to fold.. the only downside is its very bulky it wont fit in my new car boot as its a 7 seater and also the clip on the side that keeps it closed when folded snapped within a month of using. mothercare did fix it although it took them around 30days..

I love the pushchair as a whole. The way it looks, how you can use it from birth to 3years of age

    • Weaknesses:

That a car seat doesnt come with it and you have to buy special adapters to turn it to a travel syst

Overall, i love this pushchair and im SO happy i brought it with my first and can still use it when my second is born. I love the colour(i have the grey). Its a very sturdy pushchair and the basket is a fair size, could be bigger to allow changing bag to fit with ease underneath but because of the frame it was quite difficult to squeeze the bag under!
The only part that has shown any wear at all is the wheels and thats understandable but all of the frame etc is still in fab condition

Brought this pram back in January, I fell in love with it and loved the fact that it turned round just by lifting and turning the handle. This is an amazing idea, it’s so easy to turn the baby round when they get older. It’s easy to set up and it’s one seat from birth up until around 3 years old. It’s also great as it is a travel system so if you purchase the adapters you can also put the car seat on the frame, I thought this was a great feature especially when the baby is asleep. As the wheels are slightly larger than other prams it’s so much easier to push on bumpy surfaces. It’s an all round great pram for the money! It also comes with a cosytoes which means you don’t have to go out and buy one in the cold weather! Would definitely recommend. The only problem I’ve came across it that the inside of the front wheels have to be cleaned out regularly otherwise they tend to stick and it becomes hard to push!

I used this pram for 2 months until the handle came apart from the pram. The colour choice is good, we had it in red, it’s nice to push however quite bulky when going round shops. Basket is slightly small but does the job. The hardness buckle is good and baby has no chance of being able to unbuckle it compared to others. The padding seemed comfortable for baby. Rain cover ripped after a short time of using it.

I absolutely love my mothercare orb pram. I was lucky enough to pick it up on offer but even at full price it’s great value for money.
One of my favourite things is the carry cot transfers into the pushchair Seat - having a baby takes up a lot of room in your house so this is one less thing to worry about.
It’s easy to push and sturdy - my daughter has always looked super comfortable in it.
It also swivels round from rear facing to front facing quick as easy (by pulling up the handle) this is a lifesaver when little one is a tad grumpy.
When it’s in pushchair mode I’ve found it lays flatter than most of my friends buggies which means my daughter naps for longer in it.
I’d say the only downsides are that the basket is fairly small and awkward to put things in it. Also if you have a small car it’s a bit too bulky to go into the boot.

Pram all round is great, I would say the best feature is that it spins around, you have to pull handle up before you can spin. Perfect for when going shopping and popping something under the pram. Pretty easy to transform from carry cot to push chair , easy to push

I love this pushchair, I love how quickly it turns from carry cot to chair although the Buckley nearest feet can be difficult to fasten, I love how you can turn it from forward facing to rearward facing so easily, again only down side is you have to remove bags from handles.

Down sides are that you can’t fold pushchair without removing the seat, and it can be quite a handful when trying to put it in the boot of the car. Unfortunately if it’s raining everything in your basket will get wet. Lastly my wheels look as if they are turning outwards but not sure if this is a common fault.
I think overall it’s a lovely pram as long as you can live with the couple of faults it easy to push and is very generous size! Also the cozy toes makes babies look so snug!

I absolutely love this pram, i like that it has an all in one seat unit so i don’t need a separate carrycot (lack of space to store), i like that the seat unit is easy to change which way the baby faces, the seat unit feels very comfortable and its very easy to steer, i can steer one handed while carrying my toddler. I struggled to find a negative thing to say, the one thing i can think of is sometimes the brake needs pressing a few times to be effective but that's minor!

This is far best the easiest mothercare pushchair on the market today
Its foldable with 1 hand for the base but needs 2 hands for the seat
The bar across the carrycot/seat is strong enough to carry it with a baby in safely if putting into the car
The base can be adapted to put your car seat on it by buying the adaptors which cost around £20 up depending on car seat we use a cabrio so only cost £19.99 brand new for adaptors
The handle has a 360 swing feature you twist the piece in the middle of the handle and pull the handle upright and then can twist the whole pram/pushchair unit around so that your baby/child is either facing you or facing the outside world
The rain cover fits the whole carrycot/seat unit
The carrycot changes to the seat with minimum fuss just a few clips and its done
The youngest one actually prefers her orb to her buggy as its so comfy to lay/sit in
Its also easy to push you can either lock the swivel wheels or have them moving
We haven't the all terrain one we have the older model with the double front wheels so cant really comment on the all terrain wheels
But all in all its an awesome pram/pushchair made to last from newborn to depending on size and age id say around 4 yrs or more & if your 1st baby will last for future babys as well

I have 5children so I have used quite a few buggy’s. The mothercare Orb has been my absolute favourite!! With other buggy’s, I would often (either because of sun or wind), have to pull buggy backwards behind me. The Orb, with one hand, you can spin the whole seat to face the other direction, I absolutely love this feature, if baby is forward facing and it becomes too windy, in a second you can turn baby to face you for shelter. It is also the easiest buggy to fold that I have had, and really not too heavy to lift into the car boot. The basket I think is a little small but not too small to stop me from highly recommending it. A great purchase!

I bought this for my second baby, I wanted something I could manage with a 5 year old and could be folded easily by an impatient husband and an ageing mother more used to a silver cross balmoral in her day. It doesn’t disappoint. I like you don’t have to carry diff parts and can be a carrycot or seat. It’s light to push and so many people have commented on how lovely it is. It folds small enough to fit into my non-existent boot and was such value for money, I want to use it as long as possible and I don’t want to us a buggy like last time. It’s a def 10 out of 10 from our household!

I love this pram / pushchair. The thing that attracted me to it most was the way you can turn the pushchair around by simply moving the handle up and turning so it turns the while pushchair seat...no lifting the seat unit off and re fitting rear or forward facing...My son thought it was great fun when I turned him around to face me while out on walks with a little 'spin' of the handle. I love how the pram becomes the seat unit by undoing the clip underneath ...such an easy transition from pram to pushchair without the hassle of swapping form pram top to seat unit which is great for space as you don't need to store either the pram top or seat unit while one is in use as they are one unit. I did find it took a while on first putting the unit together, but once I did it, I loved it instantly. The footmuff is snugly and warm, the colour is lovely, I got the navy one, but others are available too..and they slightly vary, Ie footmuff...some have one that zip up the front, others don't have zips, and have fleece. The pushchair is lovely and light to push and just glides along. I love the hood...it has the extra length which covers and protects from wind, rain and even sun. The seat liner also adds extra comfort and warmth.

I bought this second hand so I can't comment on the price. However I can tell it's worth the money paid originally. I used my maxi cosy car seat with this pram and loved that I didn't have to disturb my baby when she was a newborn. The carrycot and pram is forward or backwards facing and that's a great option. All in all for someone that uses a pram every single day or for long periods of time this is the perfect pram. For me however all I needed to do was nip to the school run round the corner etc and it proved too bulky for me.

I have had this for my little boy, who is currently 12 weeks. As the bassinet it was very good from the start. The hood kept him very shaded in the sunshine which didn’t majorly require us to use a parasol.
It’s great for use with a car seat of just popping into shops, however, the wheels don’t grip too well in the shops so turning does become difficult.
He’s a very nosey baby so we have already changed it into the seat and he loves it, because you can decide the angle, can keep him leaning backward so his head doesn’t fall forward.

I love my orb, it's stylish, very easy to use and baby always comfy.
It's easy conversion from a carrycot to seat makes life simple. No need to remove baby when changing from parent facing to world facing. The footmuff is also to easy to use, zip at the front makes it more convenient to tuck you little one in plus it doesn't slip down the seat with a wriggly little one.

I've used my orb since birth and my daughter is 14 months old and still using.

The only downside is I find the shopping basket too small. But would definately recommend this pushchair.

Excellent for the price and a really robust pushchair when compared to other brands. Spin option so baby can be out or inwardly facing within seconds. Brake can be a little sticky but nothing major.

Unfortunately there really isn’t enough storage space, however this is the same with many different pushchairs that are double the price and baby is very comfortable in it.

Description

The Mothercare 'Orb Pram' in Liquorice is the complete pram and pushchair system that grows with your baby.

The super one-hand rotation of the Orb pushchair allows parents to simply change the direction your baby faces when on the go. Parent facing mode can help to support the bond between parent and child, as well as creating an enviroment for communication and language development. The chassis folds with one hand into an extra compact structure, suitable for putting in the boot of your car or saving space when storing the pram and pushchair system at home. Lockable front swivel wheels provide ultimate manoeuvrability and the quick release rear wheels make it easy for more room in the boot of the car or to clean up after a muddy walk.

The adjustable height handle is easily adjusted for each parents/carers use and the push on/off brakes are simple to engage with no more scuffed shoes! When paired with a Maxi Cosi CabrioFix or Pebble infant car seat and adaptors (both available separately), the Mothercare Orb Pram and Pushchair can be transformed into a complete travel system.
