The pearl is a snug and secure fit still allowing movement for your little one. The straps and harness are secure but with the fabric outer layer to provide comfort and softness.
Getting the pearl in and out of the car is a breeze when after first having a baby which can be an uncomfortable time for any mum.
It will also fit neatly onto my silver cross pram chassis which makes shopping and travelling so easy and convenient

We love this car seat for our now 8month old. We have been using it since he was born and still fits in it comfortably. He loves it as it sends him straight too sleep. Easy too fit however we find that it is very heavy too carry... Even when we bought out 5lb11 baby home from the hospital the first thing we commented on was the weight - Strengths:

Have this car seat in red. Looks comfortable. Quiet heavy but Easy to strap in car. Sunshade ain't secure and keeps popping of. Very thin and small. Other than that happy with the car seat -

So i am due baby number 4 and had a wide range of car seats due to having a pram obsession. This is by far the best one in the babies other car seats they used to scream just trying to put them in it yet with this car seat they have always been happy to go into it due to it being more comfortable. A wide range of prams have the adapters for this car seat so it is not limited to one brand. This may be the case with a lot of these car seats but my little girl suffered with reflux and going in her seat always made her worse.
It’s a lovely design and lightweight for moving around. Easy to get on and off push chair chassis in early days and easily adjusted straps. - Strengths:

The car seat was very spacious even when my son was a new born and even after removing the newborn insert gave my son room to kick his feet and wave his arms around, I used this product without the isoflix base and it was still very secure and safe being held in place with the cars seatbelt. The sun canopy was a life saver of the sun was shining when out and about, the only thing is it could have done with coming further down but was still very protective at the standard length. The compatibility of this car seat is surprising, i was very surprised when finding out with adapters I could attach it onto my icandy pram, which meant popping to the shops was an easy task alone.
The first negative I have about this car is the extreme heaviness of this car seat with and without a baby in it, i personally struggled to carry it in one hand. The second negative I have about this car seat is to lower and raise the handle it requires two hands.
The third and final negative I have for this car seat is when attached to the icandy pushchair via the adapters the buttons are very difficult to press in when trying to remove the car seat.

I bought the pebble for my daughter and it has different levels for newborn to 1 year so that it is comfortable and secure. It has the option of isofix or you can secure it manually with a seatbelt. I did find it took a bit of practice to do it manually and took a bit of time to do this. I decided to buy the isofix when I used it with my son and it goes in with a quick click, very easy and secure. I do find the buttons quite stiff but wouldn’t put me off having this product. I just need to make sure I use them at the right angle. I would recommend this product.Read more - Strengths:

Brought the maxi cosi for my first born! He lives it! He's not confined tight and the supports on the straps aren't big unlike some car seats so he can move his limbs which is great as he loves to chew on his fingers. It does get quite heavy though which is a strain at times and the sun shield doesn't cover his face enough from the sun even with a shield on the window which upsets him!

So I have this car seat for my baby and call me old fashioned but I don’t trust iso-fix bases so we attach it with the seatbelt. It’s pretty easy to get baby in and out of this thing and I love that it has a removable cushion for when baby gets bigger! It just gives you that little bit more for your money. The straps loosen really easily by just simply pushing the buckle bit forward and then it’s a simple pull of a strap to tighten again. I love that it came with a sun shade this is really helpful in the car. Everything comes apart moderately easy to wash it and the rest just wipes down. I love this car seat, even though I use it without an isofix base (we use the seatbelts to secure it). My LO always seems comfortable in it but I will say that it is a pain to remove the covers if you need to wash them. This is a really lovely car seat. It’s really comfy and has a lovely sunshade. The sunshade could be slightly longer as sometimes the sun is in my Sons eyes (But I’m being picky!) Easy to do up and tighten. We have the car seat adaptors so it fits on to our pushchair which is a fantastic feature and easy to use.

I chose the pebble over its competitor the <a href="https://www.consobaby.co.uk/cabriofix-car-seat-maxi-cosi.html">Cabriofix</a> due to its design, it looks so much nicer and I found it a lot lighter too. I have used the maxi cosi pebble with both of my children, the seat offers great support for newborns with the insert being able to be removed when they get a little bigger, to allow them more room. It's easy to fit with seatbelt but would recommend a base as it's just an easier transition especially for those rainy days! The added suncanopy is a bonus and helps to keep the sun out of little ones eyes.
