When me and my partner first found out we were expecting we decided to start looking for pushchairs. As it’s such a big purchase we didn’t want to chose the wrong one. After a lot of discussing my partner was only happy to go with a silver cross pushchair so we brought the pursuit. Best decision we have ever made. It’s such a comfortable pushchair for our little girl and we have had loads of use out of it. It folds down easy and fits lovely in the boot of our car. It’s a stylish product and we always get comments about how nice and comfy it looks. Very happy with this pushchair. Would definitely recommend the pursuit to anyone

This was our very first pushchair and we were extremely pleased with the purchase. We bought the complete travel system so that we could transfer the car seat straight onto the base which is a brilliant feature. The pushchair and pram is finished to a superb standard and our little one finds it very comfortable.
It is sturdy and strong when steering however can be quite tricky when trying to mount curbs or little ledges.
We would highly recommend this pushchair for anyone looking for a strong reliable and comfortable model.

    • Strengths:

Adapts as child grows. No need for extra carry cot. Well built. Stylish. Comfortable.

    • Weaknesses:

A little heavy. Doesn't like uneven ground.

Been using this pram for a couple of months now and it ticks all the boxes. As this lays down flat there's no need for an extra carry cot, this was a win win for us as we don't have the extra space to store it all but I wanted it to be comfortable for my baby. The bamboo liners adds to this also and gives a lovely soft space for a newborn. The pram unfolds and folds with easy and can be folded with the seat unit attached making it easy to take in the car. We have also purchased the carseat adaptors to use with the simplicity car seat and this option works great when quickly nipping out of the car but not wanting/being able to carry the carseat. It steers well and feels like a comfortable ride although it doesn't seem to like grass or uneven stone ground and does struggle to move in the right direction on these surfaces. As the seat unit changes to suit an older child as well as being forward and rear facing this pram should be the only one we ever have to purchase.

I loved mine,, it was beautiful. I had the seat liner and the changing bag,, the seat was a little bit of a pain because u needed the extenders it didn't just slot strait on,, it was easy to fold but it would be better if u could do it one handed so if u have to hold the baby and put the pushchair down u can,,, it was very orquade to do that with this pushchair. And the only other downfualt was I found going down kerbs the wheels would get stuck and all twisted,,, but other then that it is a brilliant pushchair, it lasted me 3 years,,, I then gave it to my friend and she has had it for about 2 years now and it's still going strong.

    • Strengths:

No need for separate newborn carrycot as lies flat, steers well

    • Weaknesses:

Not the easiest to get up and down curbs

Overall a pretty good pram. Ideal for when you don't have the space to store a separate newborn carrycot. The wheels are perfect for travelling on flat, smooth surfaces but are quite noisy and feel rickety over uneven surfaces. When pushing down on the handlebars to go up a curb/step it does feel like too much pressure and the frame will break. The hood is a very good size to block out bright sunshine so there's no need for a separate parasol.

    • Strengths:

Easy to manouvere, one seat suitable from newborn

    • Weaknesses:

We bought this pram after looking at a few from the silver cross range. We liked that this was the lightest of the three we looked at (pioneer and wayfarer were the other two we considered). We also loved that there was no need for a separate bassinet style attachment as the seat from suitable from newborn. Finally we loved how stylish it looked and how easy it was the manouvere. I discovered later that it's very easy to push one handed - I have a baby that wants to be carried rather than pushed so often found myself pushing with one hand. The pram also has a very good good with sun shade which saves you needing an umbrella shade (see pictures)
The things about the pram that we have come to dislike are firstly that it is bulky. You need a big boot to get it in in one piece. We have a large boot which we can fit my nieces wheelchair in but couldn't get the pram in without separating into two parts. Secondly, as we live in a second floor flat, the pram, although lighter than others is too heavy for carrying up and down stairs. As well as this, within 6 weeks of use our pram had to repaired as The brake function broke. Mothercare took it for repair and gave us a replacement. The whole process took 5 weeks (5weeks which we had to use a temp pram) which when you've spent a lot of money on a product is very disappointing. Lastly, 'the storage basket underneath is very small compared to those on the pioneer and wayfarer which has been frustrating as my baby has grown and needed more things such as food and toys when we go out.
Overall we do like the pram and are still using it now but in hindsight we would have chosen a different one.

The silver cross pushchair is really nice to use and easy to use. It is one seat unit that can convert into a carry cot for younger babies or if the child is sleeping without having to change the base, the pushchair is really easy to fold away and can be folded up for smaller storage, although if you have a smaller boot it will take up the whole boot.

I love this pram, so easy to fold away and not too heavy either so can manage to lift in and out of car with one hand whilst holding baby if needed. The design is sleek and looks well made. Love the newborns can go straight into the main seat as there is the foam nest inside to keep them comfortable and safe. Always getting compliments on the pram. Easy to steer and the car seat just slots right on the base If only going out for a short amount of time avoids having to take the whole pram.

Overall a great travel system, very easy to use and comfortable, only problem I’ve had is fitting it in smaller cars but other than that I can’t fault it.
  • 3.75/5
    • Strengths:

Only used this for 10days when visiting family but wasn’t overly keen compared to my Chicco system... steering is quite heavy compared to other brands and although the base folds down to be very slim/ flat it was too long to fit in the boot of our little VW UP!
Also the adjustable handle doesn’t really accommodate a huge range of heights which is a problem for us as I’m very short and my other half is very tall!
The quality of the pram is lovely and the foot muff is lovely and soft.

Bought this as a package, we have everything including the bag, all of which I love! It’s a lovely looking pram, easy to steer and easy to put together. The only thing i struggle with is the harness used to hold the baby in, it’s a little fiddly, they could have come up with a simpler design. Also once the pram is folded flat (very easy to do) it’s fairly heavy to lift into the boot of my car. I can manage it but I’m fairly strong and I imagine someone who is smaller and less strong would struggle.

Stylish, easy to steer, allows little one to lie almost flat and sit up with was and with out having to change from carry cot to pushchair. Baby suffered reflux so this pram
Was idea as didn’t lie completely flat. Easy to fold, however suite bulky when folded, so ensure your boot space is big enough .

Bought this along with the car seat and full pram set and couldn’t be happier with it. Really easy to fold and get in the car. The adapters mean it is easy to take the car seat out and attach it too. It’s been the ideal pram for us and it will last ages as we will move it to a pushchair when my daughter is bigger

We love the pram and it’s so comfy for our little girl. We loved the memory foam insert for when she was a newborn. It is easy to swap and change from car seat to pram seat. It is really easy to fold and put in the car. It is easy to moved on smooth ground but can be difficult on uneven grounds and often get stuck. We will definitely be recommending this pram to friends.

I’m a first time mummy and didn’t really know what I needed in a pushchair. I decided on the pursuit as I know silvercross is a well known well made brand. I have not been disappointed at all! This pushchair is nice and lightweight making it so easy to pick up and put in the car. The foam material inside the main compartment is so plush and soft. The only downside to this pushchair is when it folds down it takes up quite a lot of room, especially in the car.

We got this pram as a deal through mothercare,
I have it in the colour Flint and it is a really nice unisex colour, a pram both myself and my partner can push and that fabric seems very good quality.
It is easy to steer and push and has a brake at the back and the option to lock the front wheels also.
The newborn insert is very soft however once washed (by hand as per instructions) it can take up to 3 days to dry flat.
I also really like the built in sun visor meaning I don’t always have to use a parasol to shade baby.
Negatives are that you have to take the foot muff and grab bar off to get baby in and out which is a bit of a pain when newborn but doesn’t seem as much an issue now she’s a bit older. There also isn’t a great range of colours or other inserts for the pram, I’m guessing due to it being mothercare exclusive.

I love this pram. It's space saving as the pram seat lies flat like a carry cot so you don't have to keep changing the pram from a carry cot to seat. It has a height adjustable handle (this is a God send as there is a massive height difference between me and my partner). The basket underneath is quite large, good enough size to pop to the shop. I love that there's an extra sun flap on the hood. I do find it a little hard to get up curbs but that's probably just down to me. I would like to see more colour choice as it only comes in 3 different colours, flint, brick and quarry. The deal I got with this pram was brilliant as it came with everything I needed, changing bag, changing mat, cup holder, footmuff, raincover with little storage bag, car seat adapters and car seat.

I chose this pram as part of my silver cross travel system without realising that it did not have a ‘proper’ carry cot - although it is suitable from birth it is a bit of a faff with a tiny newborn baby trying to fasten them into the harness (which if they’re anything like my little girl, they won’t like when they’re so little), therefore it’s quite time consuming whereas you can gently place a sleeping baby in a ‘proper’ carry cot and be on your way. Now she is almost 5 months its much better as she is bigger and isn’t bothered about the harness. Overall it’s a lovely pushchair but would definitely suggest a silver cross pram with the carry cot option

I bought this pram as part of a bundle from mothercare. We originally bought it as a travel system and it was handy that the car seat fit straight into the base chassis. I often go for long walks with my baby and this pram is lovely to push. It is compact when folded and fits into the boot of my car nicely. It is easy to fold down and store away. I like that the hood comes straight over and has an additional sun flap underneath, which has been handy in the recent sunny weather. The foot muff keeps baby warm and cosy and the newborn insert looks comfortable when my baby is in it. I would recommend as a compact version of a silver cross pram.

We used this from our daughter being born I loved the carry cot part the best I love the fact you can put the car seat on the chassis which helped our a lot for quickness. The basket in the bottom is handy and the handles extends three times which is good for husband whose taller than me! The last part for when they are bigger and sitting Is great too it is still usable even once there feet are too long for the cover as you can just remove it! Overall it’s been a good pram especially because we got it in a deal with mother care

We have had the Silver Cross Pioneer since my son was newborn and at 13 months he is still using it and loves it. We used a maxi-cosi car seat when he was newborn to make use of the full travel system and this was really good when he was tiny for going in and out of the car. The footmuff is easy to clean in the washing machine and is quick drying. This is a pram that is built to last.

Would highly recommend this pram.
