We loved this chair, it has so many features, it rocks back and forth and also side to side and with both actions on its similar to a gentle sway which my daughter loved, there is a vibrate button which is great for that extra soothing.
The chair also plays sounds and music and has a volume control, can't say I used that feature much as the vibrate was enough to send her to sleep.
The only draw back I found to this chair was putting the chair back in the base, it lifts off easy but getting it lined up to put back in was a bit tricky, especially if baby is in the Seat part but all in all it was a nice rocker chair
I was nervous about spending this kind of money on a bouncer but once I had it and had my baby I didn't regret it one bit, the motion and being able to adjust the strength of that was amazing, she loved the lullaby's that it could play and the vibration. It allowed me to put her down awake get things down while she was happy. The best feature of it if that the top seat part lifts off and can be moved around the house with such ease. This ment I could put the washing away and take her with me, or eat my evening meal at the table and she would come too. I could even pop into the garden and sit under the gazebo with her for a little while. I would highly recommend this to any mums to be that are thinking of getting one, don't hesitate just buy it you won't regret it
My daughter loves using this, when she is crying she calms down when we switch this on. It's nice and soft with a good quality padding in the right places. We love the fact the seat reclines and our daughter has been able to use this since birth and can use it for many more months to come.
I would highly recommend this to all parents
My daughter has grown to love this chair. In her first few weeks she wasn’t really interested but now she loves it!
We put her in it whilst we’re eating or when I need to get things done hands free.
The whole system is quite large so be warned that it does take up lots of space in the house. The swing feature is great as it keeps them entertained. The vibrating chair is also great.
The fact that you can take the chair off the stand works well too for moving it to different rooms in the house.
Me and my baby absolutely love this product! It keeps my little girl so content and so happy. Which always guarantees a happy mummy! The Joie Sansa 2in1 was so easy to put together and the fabrics are of a very high quality. It’s well padded to ensure the comfortability for baby. It has a vibration setting on the seat that can be adjusted to two different settings; a soft vibration; or a slightly stronger vibration. My little girl loves this and instantly makes her smile and relaxes her! It has an option of noises ranging from birds tweeting to white noise. It can also play a variety of lullaby’s too. There’s a rocking and swinging option and can use them separately or together. My little girl prefers them together. I had tried other bouncers and rockers in the past with her and she really wasn’t interested and would cry in a few minutes of being in them. However, in this rocker and swinger she adores it! You can also take the seat part off the unit and use it as a normal rocker! It’s so fantastic! I opted for the petite city design and it comes with to monochrome plush buildings and my little girl is so fixated on them! The product can run through an adapter plugged in or through batteries. I’d i had to criticise the product the only thing I would say is the unit is very heavy and not easy to move round the room or into another room. Overall this is a fantastic product and I would highly recommend this product to anyone!
Super soft and cosy/ choose of different sounds and lullabies/ can be used as a swing and rocker
Loud motor/ not a colorful option/ not the change to change the dangling toys
Ease of use
The Sansa 2 in 1 baby Swing gives you the chance to sooth your baby with 3 different motions:
Glide for front to back undulation
Sway for side to side oscillation
Dream activate both motions together
It is also possible to direct the rocker into different directions taking a very small space.
Around the main switch there is a selection of 5 white noises: Nature - Birds - Waves - Wind and 5 lullabies.
The volume can be adjusted and it is very simple and intuitive.
The seat can be lifted from the base and used as a rocker.
My 4 month old baby really loves the cocoon shape of the swing. He plunges into a deep sleep thanks to the super soft full body insert connected to safe straps. All brilliantly hidden by a central crotch harness cover.
The seat also has 3 reclined positions and 2 vibration functions that my little one absolutely love and he giggles like crazy!
From the handle above his head there are 2 identical toys but aren’t really entertaining and fare to reach.
The pattern of the insert is connected to the name of the swing: rainy days.
Drawings of little cute animals are spread on the central part of the swing and the 2 toys.
Although the main colour is a light modern grey, it would be nice to have a more colorful option too.
The instructions enclosed aren’t really clear but the structure is quite easy to assemble just looking at the picture of the swing.
There is the possibility to activate Sansa with wall plug or batteries.
Personally the only negative aspect of this almost perfect rocker is the noise made by the motor while on movement.
There is a constant annoying buzz while the swing is activated no matter the direction. It can result irritating after a while.
The quality behind this product justifies the price of it, but the noise of the structure in movement makes it lose marks.
All in all it defenetly remains a high standard Joie product.
Weight: 7.36 Kg
Dimension: 71.5L x 53.5 W x 77.5H cm
It is suitable from birth till 9 Kg
My son is now 6months old so a little on the older edge for using this but even so he loves it! There’s so much to say about it that I decided the only way to make sure I cover it all is to list it but before I get into the pros and cons there’s something you should be aware of.
There is an error somewhere in the advertisement. Everywhere you look online to buy the swing (including the Joie website) states it can hold up to 13kg (28lbs)but all the documentation that comes with it states it can only hold up to 9kg (19lbs). My son is nearly 20lb now so I don’t know if he’s still fine to use it or if in-fact he might be too heavy and damaging the motor.
Ok on to the product!
* It looks great-3 different colour options (pictured is ‘Petite City’). The covers and toys are all machine washable and easy to remove.
* Really easy to put together- it literally takes only a few minutes to get up and running.
* Multiple uses- you can use the rocker on the main base where there are 3 different motions,(glide forward and back, sway side to side or have a combination). The rocker can be lifted off the base and used as a stand-alone rocker with two vibration options. There is also a rock stop foot pedal at the back of the seat so that you can securely stop the rocking motion.
* Comes with an infant body insert and head support for when you are using the rocker with a new born, the straps can also be adjusted to suit smaller or larger babies.
* The seat on the rocker can recline to 3 different positions.
* There is a 5 point harness to make sure baby is secure and the buckle also has a soft touch cover for added comfort.
* The base can be plugged into the mains and the plug comes with three different plug head adapters so you can use it abroad too.
* Last but not least- the sounds!!! There are 5 different nature sounds the piano lullabies (not that awful tin music you normally get).
On to the cons..
* The advertised weight issue needs to be sorted- that’s not a fault with the product no but it could affect wether you buy it or not.
* The majority of the pattern is on the infant inserts, once you remove them the rest of the seat looks quite plain.
* The motor on the base is quite loud which means you have to turn the volume right up when playing any of the nature sounds.
* It’s a shame the rocker can’t be plugged into the mains as well because the batteries don’t last very long.
* It’s quite hard to get into the battery panel, I needed both a screwdriver and a knife to open it.
My verdict- we love it! Its definitely not the cheapest rocker you can get so it does depend on your budget but I highly recommend this product to all new Mums and Dads. It’s so much more than just a rocker, it looks great, it sounds great and baby loves being in it!
