When I first saw these I thought they were really just something you might use if you were out for a night and needed a bit of relief, but after a few people recommending it I decided to give it a go. For this price if it didn't work there wouldn't be much lost. Boy am I glad I did.
During my first breastfeeding journey I used a good quality manual pump and it did the job well, however, the haakaa is a game changer. Just pop it on while you feed from the other side and watch in amazement while it fills up, allowing you to keep your hands free to hold your baby. Since this is used at the same time as feeding the baby you find you don't have to spend hours pumping to build up a supply. Within a week i already had a freezer full of milk.
After building up my confidence I started to experiment- I have used it while showering and doing the housework as it really doesn't need any assistance to do it's magic. A great all rounder and I would recommend time and time again.

Very simple quick and easy to use. Extremily cheap compared to electric pumps etc. Works alot better than hand held or electric pumps. Super easy and comfortable. Get alot more breast milk from this than any other pump.

This product allowed me to continue breastfeeding when I returned to work. This is so easy to use and manages to express more milk than you would imagine considering it is just a piece of silicone. I would either use this on the opposite breast when feeding my daughter or I would use an electric pump to express and use this on the other breast. I recommend this product that much that I have actually bought it for a few of my friends that are expecting.

This literally revolutionised my breastfeeding journey. With my first I pumped manually and it took so long. This is so easy to use, you literally just suction it on to the boob you aren't feeding on and it catches your let down. So not only is it so much easier than other pumps but it affects your supply less! I get 4oz every time without fail. The only very minor downside is sometimes the suction can come off so you just need to be aware of that or you'll end up crying over spilled milk!

I love the haaka product however feel that it is overpriced and bulky compared to the naturebond and mammia products. I have tried all three and thought the haaka would be the best however was very disappointed as I definitely didn’t collect as much milk as normal and it fell off quite often.

I spent a lot of time looking at very expensive pumps which were recommended by Mums and was very close to purchasing one. My partner suggested this, just to see if I'd get in with expressing before we committed to over £100. Well, I'm so pleased with this product!
When I first used it, I fidnt read the instructions and just assumed it was an actual pump and started squeezing away at my boob... Apart from lots of fart noises, unsurprisingly, nothing happened. However, after watching s few you tube videos of mums using the product I gave it another go. You simply have to attach to your breast (over the nipple) and gently squeeze to create suction... When I first did this I compressed the bulb too much and it wasn't comfortable at all. You really don't need to have a lot of bressure on your boob at all. I sat watching TV with it attached for around an hour and managed to express 3 oz (bear in mind, my baby is only 2 weeks old) which I was absolutely thrilled with! I did have to readjust a couple of times, and I did manage to J ick it off also, but I found if I tucked my t-shirt underneath it, it held it in place. This would also hide it if you wanted to express with company. I'd like to add that my baby was sleeping at this point, so you don't actually have to be feeding your baby whilst you express.
Overall, this was not at all invasive and comfortable, and with a t-shirt over, also very discreet.

I’ve had my haakaa for a couple of weeks now and i find it fantastic. It just suctions onto the other boob while you’re feeding and it collects your let down that’s would have otherwise gone into a breast pad and into the bin. I can get a few ounces each feed without any effort. Easy to clean no - no faff.

I love my Haaka, I use it every night whilst feeding baby on the side. It takes the pressure off if baby goes a bit longer than usual throughout the night. It can be a bit difficult to get in the right position when you're feeding in your feeding on the other side, but it is such a great invention! I get more from this than I do pumping!

I am able to collect a lot of wasted milk whilst using this product and creates a great flow but only when I'm feeding. I am unable to use it if I am not feeding because I cannot get a flow and had to get a hand pump for these times. Also my little one is starting to wiggle about loads so it keeps getting knocked off.

This product is amazing and one of the best things I have been using through my breastfeeding journey so far!! It’s so easy to use it’s hands free only thing is my little boy kicks it off a lot! Not sure how this could be changed but when there’s a lot of milk in it and he kicks it- it could get lost great product however

I have been using this for a few weeks and although I love it and it has helped me up my milk supply, there are a few faults. It can be difficult to get good suction especially one handed when baby is feeding, baby can kick it off and spill the milk, it also attracts slit of fluff and hair.
It is also a negative that you have to buy your own stopper.
Overall, I think it is good for the price but could be a much better product if these issues were fixed.

Love it, so easy to collect milk now, just pop it on the other side while feeding LO and collect a lot from it, especially in the mornings, it’s easy to clean. It can be a little fiddly to get and keep on but if you do the flange trick it’s great just watch for wiggly legs!

Great milk collector, easy to clean, easy to store. Only one thing could be improved, some kind of safety strap that would go around the neck (in case the pump comes of the breast, to prevent spillage)

I love love love the HAAKAA it is so handy to have. I attach to the opposite breast I am feeding from and just collect my let down milk. It’s brilliant as it stops this milk just going to waste and means I spend less time pumping for my daughter. The only downside is the silicon it’s made from seems to attract every piece of fluff or dog hair in my house so have to be very careful about where I use it.

I recently got this as it was offer for £12.99:, honestly I love it, it does a great job getting the wasted milk that would be caught in a pad and can be transferred easily to whatever you desire. The only thing I sometimes struggle with is getting the actual pump to cling to the boob. Sometimes no matter what I do I just can’t get it to stay of freely and baby has knocked it off couple of times.

I bought this product online for £12.99 on a deal from hakka website. This creative product is easy to use, silicone material, nice texture, simple to wash and sterilise. Only weakness I would say is the instructions weren’t clear on how to use it. Took me a good few weeks before I got the best use of it. Now easily attached and I get a good amount of milk from other breast when I’m breast feeding my daughter x also would be great if the stopper came with purchase as few times accidentally tipped the milk over x

This product is absolutely fantastic, I bought it to try while breastfeeding my son and it’s the best breast pump I’ve used, all I have had to do is suction it on to my boob and the pump does the rest! It’s so much better than the tommee tippee one I have and it’s less tiring it’s also easy to clean and you don’t have to dismantle it to clean it! Would definitely recommend!

Finding out about this item has been a godsend! It’s not a pump, more like a milk catcher. Let baby suck on other breast and put this on the other. The suction from baby lets your let down flow into this “pump”. Great for storing milk for later. Brilliant invention , I use it to make milk ice lollies!

I love this product! Whilst I was breastfeeding it came really handy especially in the beginning, very soft and doesn’t pinch, very easy to clean, the only downside is that it’s hard to attach properly in the very beginning but once you get a hang of it it’s a brilliant product to have to hand
