Smart simple car seat, that provides comfort for my 6 month old, she always looks comfortable in it, I found a lot of car seats didn't support her head as a newborn but this one did just that and fits to the chassis for the silver cross prams which is great if we're in a rush.

I like the car seat because it looks comfortable for baby and it comes with a footmuff to keep them warm when it's being used as part of the travel system, however I do find it to be very heavy and it is expensive considering you can get similar car seats for much cheaper

I haven't used it yet because my daughter is due in 2 weeks but I love it. It's so nice to look at I can't wait to use it. Doesn't feel too heavy either which is good.

This was part of a system I purchased
It seems heavier than overs I’ve used and the hood would not cover the baby room.
Not sure if completely satisfied to how well the baby and the babys head is strapped in .

I have this car seat currently and although it looks beautiful and seems safe and keeps baby compact I feel the hood part is a waste of space, it barely covers babies head. Compared to other car seats out there I feel this lets it down. The product I feel would be faultless if this was revised

My baby girl was born 5lb5 and was far to small for the car seat, we had to buy another as the hospital said it was unsafe on how she was sat. But now she’s 4 months she loves the car seats and fits in lovely.

Very good car seat, very spacious. I have a very big 3 month old and he fits lovely in it. The head hugger and wedge keeps my baby's spine and neck straight and comfortable. Quite expensive on its own but I got it in part of a deal with a travel system.

I've been using this carseat since birth and my baby is almost one. it's a bulky carseat and can be awkward to carry but I feel it's very safe. I think my baby will be able to use it for another few months yet so it's a lasting first carseat.

Great car seat now my daughter is older. It as newborn the insert wasn't great support and she slipped down. Her chin was close to her chest. Now she has grown it's a great car seat and we sometimes use on the buggy frame if popping out quickly .

    • Strengths:

    • Weaknesses:

Car seat too upright for newborn

    • Comfortable

The car seat is okay, I wouldn't buy it again though. Only thing I liked about it was that I could use it with the travel system. I wouldn't pay for this car seat on it's own. Had big problems with my babys head always tipping forward which is not good for a newborn, due to the fact the car seat is alot more upright than alot of the ones available to buy.

We first bought this car seat for my daughter in 2015. We chose the silver cross simplicity because we liked how the baby was sat up a bit more than some of the other infant seats on the market. It was also handy to be able to attach the seat straight onto our travel system. This seat is very well padded and simple to fit into the car using the seatbelt or isofix base that can be purchased separately. We loved this car seat so much that we are going to be using it again in April for our second child.

The Simplicity car seat is of an obviously real high quality, with comfortable, thick padding all over. It's extremely light to carry, which is a back saving bonus, and is also Isofix compatible. A great value for money car seat, which is suitable for new born and beyond. Stylish car seat, we opted for black – we know it goes with everything! The seat seems to support her in all the right places, including her wobbly head. And the padding on the harness means it didn’t rub against her and cause irritation.
The fixer base was straightforward to attach to the car, and the seat itself locks in and out of the fixer easily. We have since used it in my parents’ car without the base (attaching via a seat belt) - and it was just as easy.

I really like the car seat as I can just put my baby in the car and straight on the wheels of the pram so a little quick trip to the shops etc he always seems to be comfortable in it even my nan can take the car seat in and out of the car and she yousual finds things like that confusing but finds that really easy
  • 5.00/5
    • Strengths:

I love the design, it's comfortable, hugs baby so they feel safe, easy to use with isofix base.

I have had this car seat with my previous child, and have another for my baby due in two days. I use it with the isofix base in the car which makes it so easy to put in and out of the car. I use it on the silver cross wayfarer pushchair it's clips in so easily and is so nice to push. Baby was always comfortable and content in the car seat hence why I have gone for another- just in a different colour choice this time.

I like this car seat, however from using a britax one before this one I feel like my little girl is really sat up and far back. Apart from that I love it. The attachments for the car seat to go on the pram are great. I Recommend it to expectant mothers!

    • Strengths:

It looks really nice, I love the footmuff and the fact it comes in all different colours.

    • Weaknesses:

When I had my newborn in this I don't feel there was much head support

    • Comfortable
    • Value for money
    • Easy to use
    • Design
I don't know whether it was just me but I found it quite hard to find a position that my newborn was comfortable in, she never looked like she was sat right and I don't feel like there was as much head support for a newborn baby, now she's 4 months old she fits in perfectly and actually feels like she's sat normal. The car seat is very bulky and heavy so not able to carry very much/far. I love the foot muff part of the car seat especially where my baby was born in sept it really helped with taking her out in the winter periods as the babyies shouldn't be wearing a thick coat so with a cardigan and the footmuff with an extra blanket she was nice and cosy!

    • Strengths:

This is a very robust and sturdy car seat

    • Weaknesses:

It is rather heavy on its own and more so when.baby is positioned.

This car seat came free with my purchase if the silvercross wayfarer pushchair and carrycot system. The seat its self is rather heavy but robust and sturdy. If you have a larger car as I do it is difficult to lift it into position. It is easy to adjust the seat position for when your baby grows. You can do this by opening the flap at the back and moving the handle inside up and down. It is easy to place onto the pishaor frame bit slightly more difficult to remove.

  • 4.38/5
    • Strengths:

Strong and looks good. It clips on to my pram too which makes quick trips much easier

    • Weaknesses:

You need to use an extra car seat "head protector" and the hood is pretty useless. Heavy too

    • Easy to use

I honestly love this car seat, it came in a set I got from Mothercare with the pram base, carry cot and pushchair. It clips on to the push chair base which is so handy. The only problem I had with it was that when my son was first born I had to buy and extra cushion thing to go round his head because he looked so uncomfortable and not very safe, and the hood part doesn't come down fair enough to really do anything
