The hood is extremely small however this is orange baby to legislation.
Handle can be used in multiple positions to lock the seat from rocking or to be used to use as a rocker. Newborn booster seat is great for a small newborn and is removable meaning your little one can stay in for longer. I was not keen on the traditional black material due the the shiny texture however this is great for cleaning, I bought a limited edition hood as an extra purely through preference of colour and material. - Strengths:

I love this car seat now my son is bigger but he was born at 6lb 9oz and when we put him in it to come home the head support just wasn’t there as it doesn’t close in around his head. Now he’s bigger I have removed the wedge in the bottom and he fits in there nicely and looks a lot more comfortable. I love the fact that it comes with a matching footmuf and built in hood to go with the rest of the pram. It fits onto the pushchair very easily and when using isofix installs into the car in 2 seconds. It is on the heavy side compared to other brands and I struggle to carry my son for longer than the house to the car but you can tell that this is because it’s very well made so you feel happier knowing your child is secure and well protected. - Strengths:

Nice secure cosy and padded so no need to worry when taking you new baby him and easy to attach to the pram nice design downside is it’s quite Heavy but other than that a really lovely car seat. - Strengths:

I bought this car seat as part of the travel system and it is perfect. I love the colour coordinating footmuff and the padding is excellent inside, keeps my newborn nice and snug. I would highly recommend purchasing the isofix base with it as you’re able to fit the car seat onto it within seconds. It also makes me feel better as there are little indicators that are red if the car seat and isofix aren’t fitted properly but then turn green when everything is fitted together correctly. My newborn loves travelling and falls asleep instantly down to the fact that the padding is so soft. Also it is so easy to clean, as with all newborns they have poo explosions and when my newborn did in the car seat it was so easy to wipe down and it looked brand new. The only negative I would say is that the car seat alone is a little heavy but to me this shows that it is sturdy and will keep my newborn safe! I would definitely recommend the whole travel system to any expectant parents and there are even a few different colour schemes to choose from.

Although this car seat looks the part, I’m not massively taken on the ease of getting baby in and out of the seat. We also bought a maxi Cosi car seat and this seat suited our needs much better. The only thing I preferred with this seat was that I could fix this seat to my Pram which allowed me to move the baby from the car straight on to the Pram when she was sleeping. - Strengths:

This silvercross car seat is great, it's very padded and secure which is perfect for our delicate babies and very sturdy to ensure they are kept safe during travelling/journeys. Very easy to secure car seat into the car Found the front cover/foot muff lovely especially heading into winter as most car seats do not come with these. My only downfall is they are very heavy. I would have prefer a longer hood to protect baby from the sun. I would say price is average for the car sears on the market.

This car seat has been great, it's easy to secure baby and to fit on isofix base. I really liked the foot muff and I found this really helpful as my baby would kick off any blankets.

I bought my silvercross simplify car seat as part of the complete travel system with pram, pushchair and isofix base. The car seat can easily be fitted into the pushchair wheels if your just nipping into the shops etc which make it very convenient and I am happy with every other aspect of the travel system. However I’ve now had two of the simplicity car seats both with the same issue of the left strap becoming loose. Every couple of weeks I have this issue and need to strip the seat back to re tighten the straps. I’ve used this system for the past 9 months and I’m disappointed that as I’m expecting my second child I’ll have to purchase another car seat (and therefore isofix base) as I’m not happy with the safety of this seat. - Strengths:

<p>This product is a must! You can use this car seat with the Isofix base or by use of the car seat belt; great if you’re getting a taxi. It also connects to the Silvercross <a href="https://www.consobaby.co.uk/pioneer-pushchair-silver-cross.html">Pioneer Pram</a> to make the ultimate travel system. The car seat is suitable from birth up to a weight of 13kg. The car seat has a baby wedge (foam) which can be removed to make more room, so it should last typically 12 months.</p>
<p>The only downside is that canopy is small and could be larger. And I do feel that the waterproof cover should be included in the purchase (as is the case with the Pram). Overall Iim very pleased with my purchase.</p>

This car seat is very easy to use with the isofix and great that it is part of a travel system. However, i dont like my 2 week old being in it for any longer than necessary, he looks very uncomfortable and i worry the entire journey that his wind pipe is being restricted. The straps are also very stiff to extend, i have to get my husband to do it for me which is fine for now but not when he is back at work full time - Strengths:

Love silver cross items however as with most car seats if you have small baby it's no good. I feel a head support is needed as my baby looked like her neck was twisted. - Strengths:

The silvercross car seat is great, it's very padded, secure and cosy which is perfect for our delicate babies and ever so sturdy to ensure they are kept safe while travelling. Very easy to secure in the car (made easier if your lucky to have the silver cross car seat base). Found the front cover/foot muff lovely especially heading into winter as most car seats do not come with these. My only downfall is they are very heavy if you compare them to a few other car seats and I would prefer a larger hood to protect baby from the sunrays. We bought this for our baby along with the silver cross wayfair pushchair. It’s easy to use, especially with the isofix base. It just clicks in and out. It is also easy to fix onto the wayfair pushchair. If you are taking little one out on your own it’s so easy to lift out of the car and place onto the pushchair without disturbing a sleeping baby. The only downside is the isofix is quite expensive and can only be used with this car seat. There are no upgrade seats available. However, I would buy this again. - Strengths:

This is a very good car seat, comfort wise my baby seemed very content as well as protected. It connects easily to silver cross pushchairs. The only downfall is my son grew out of it after only a few months so didn’t get much use out of it and it’s a squeeze to get it into certain cars with it being quite bulky. - Strengths:

This cat seat is very handy to have, it fits nicely onto the buggy base so very convient, looks smart. The hood could be bigger on the product as it doesn't actually cover from any sun, I also struggle to carry my baby in this. I love this car seat and how it attaches to my Silver Cross pushchair frame. We bought an isofix base too to makebthe whole process as new parent seven easier and it's great! Smooth transitions from base to pushchair. The only problem is the hood, it's pretty pointless as it provides no shade form he current heatwave we are experiencing and in the rain it's equally no good as it definitely isn't waterproof either. Please consider making the hood pull forward much further to shield baby's face and then this is the perfect product! Such a great price too for what it is. - Strengths:

I got this car seat with my silver cross travel system bundle & it is brilliant. My little girl is almost 5 months old and she still sits comfortably in it.

My daughter was very comfortable, attached well to adaptors fitted perfectly in the car no issues other than the back part where baby's head is is quiet raised either side. As they get bigger it becomes uncomfortable. - Strengths:

We revived this car seat free with our travel system which was a bonus to us. You can put the car seat into an isofix which you have to buy separately around £130. The car seat clips onto the isofix really easy and comes up with green on the sides once placed in correctly. It’s also very easy to remove with the button at the top of the car seat making it easy to pull and lift the car seat out of the car. The car seat has lots of paddling and makes it nice and cosy while bringing your newborn home just makes them look all scrunched up to start off with. It’s easy to release and tighten the straps. The good isn’t very big which means the sun does shine onto their eyes at times which isn’t as great but the bottom cover for the car seat is very handy in the winter to keep them nice and warm. Another downside if the car seat is very heavy which makes it’s hard to pop in and out of the shops carrying them in the car seat. The car seat adapters are easy to get the car seat on and off the pushchairs also. Overall this is a very good product with a couple of downside but would recommend.

I love love love this car seat, it is so easy to use I have the base with it so it make life so much easier. I just clip it in and out of my car onto my pram. It can feel a bit heavy but if you buy a sliver cross pram it should come with adapters for the seat so you can fit the seat to the frame of the pram and you won't need to carry the seat around. The straps are easy to make longer which makes it easier when your little one is asleep you can gentle place the straps around your baby and tighten them. - Strengths:

I bought this as it came as a set with the Wayfarer pushchair. I wouldn't recommend the seat as the rain/Sun cover is pointless it doesn't cover anything. The seatbelt is a little annoying. You have to pull the babies arm in and out to get it on. I would have preferred the ones where it just clips over without having to insert the arms.

I had this car seat as part of a silver cross travel system. I found that it was easy to fix onto the isofix base and the pram chassis that I had but as my little girl was prem, she looked very small and squished in it. I didn’t find that it gave her much head support and the slant in the product caused her head to tilt forward more than I would have liked. I ended up changing car seats but would recommend for average sized babies. The good of the car seat also doesn’t come far enough over for my liking. - Strengths:
