I bought this toy to help my baby with his sleep time. As most parents I struggled with sleep training and generally my baby didn’t like to sleep at all. Unfortunately this little toy really frightened him and he never became interested in it. I found the quality of the sound poor and the lullabies are a mixture of all type of songs. It was an expensive purchase for what it is.

I had this given to me as a present from my sister when I was pregnant. When my little one was a newborn it sent her to sleep instantly and if she awoke as soon as I pressed it she’d drift back off.

The sound isn't too loud when it's got new batteries in, unlike many electronic toys. Also in one month I have had to replace the batteries once with constant use. Although, not reading the instructions properly, I failed to realise that you could turn it off by holding it's belly for longer, so it was playing for 15 mins over and over again. Doh!

It only gives two hoots at the beginning of the music, which is kind of disappointing to me, but it would probably disturb baby if it did it during the music playing. The light comes on for a short period and then goes off, again probably so as not to disturb baby. It's a lovely soothing toy and can be easily started by baby herself.

Although now she’s 4 month old she’s not interested. She loves exploring too much! Aha.

This is great to settling a baby to sleep with lullaby tunes and Little night light. It’s a cute owl and has teething parts too.

Baby got this for Christmas and was amazed how quickly she fell asleep. It certainly calmed her down. I’m not saying it works every time but it certainly helps. The good part is if you keep hold of the button it can be stopped so don’t have to keep listening if baby does go to sleep.
