The seahorse is a firm favourite in our house! My older 2 children had them as babies and now my youngest has one too. It is used every bedtime and is always first in the sleepover bag when baby goes to stay with nana! The soothing light is not too bright and overpowering and teamed with the gentle lullaby sounds it works to get the baby to sleep every time! Would highly recommend this to anyone with a baby, we have also bought 3 of these for gifts for my nieces and nephews when they were born. Both of my daughters have had one of these, it helped them drift off into a nice peaceful sleep. It's made from lovely soft material although the light section is a rubber/plastic material. It's just the right size for a little person. The music is not to loud and the light is not too bright making this an ideal bedtime toy. There's a selection of 10 musical/soothing sounds, only 2 of these are soothing sounds but I found they enjoyed the musical sounds more. The only thing I found was sometimes the light/battery unit inside can get moved around so sometimes only half of the light comes through but a quick bit of adjustment solves that problem. This was bought as a gift for my son. It's nice and soft and the glow is lovely that comes from the sea horse's middle. There is a plastic cover covering the light source which is lovely and soft.
The only down fall is I find I can't use this to soothe which is the purpose as it doesn't last long enough for the music to soothe. - Strengths:

The seashorse is very cute & gender neutral if you were to buy before baby was born as a gift. The cuddle appeal is there & it’s very easy for the children to carry around with them. However it doesn’t actually settle baby to sleep & I found the tummy rather hard. Value for money is fantastic! Again ideal for a gift if you wanted to give something other than clothes for a change. - Strengths:

My little girl loves to listen to hers. She often sits with it in her lap when she has just woken up or if she is feeling tired and just needs some relaxation. The music and lights are not overwhelming they are relaxing and soothing.

My daughter has had this seahorse for 9 years, she still sleeps with it & often listens to the rain Forrest sounds. As a baby we would lay this in the cot as she was going to sleep. - Strengths:

My daughter is 6 weeks old and finds it difficult setting off at night. The glow sea horse light was perfect as it wasn’t too bright to wake her up but bright enough so I could see her. As for the music it plays unthought it was great that it had a combanation of lullabies and white sounds. My little boy has had this seahorse in blue since he was a baby. He is 4 now and still sleeps with ‘Buddy’ every night! It is a fantastic sleep cue as the gentle lullabies that it plays sends my boy off to sleep very quickly. The cover is easy to remove and put through washing machine when needed. Only downside is when my son was younger he found it hard to get the lullabies going himself as the tummy can be difficult to push but he has no issues now. Okay so first up this thing is adorable! It has a really lovely yellow light similar to the glow of Christmas lights, the music plays for quite a long while so you’re not constantly having to press it again and that for me seals the deal haha. 10/10 - Strengths:

This seahorse is lovely and soothed my baby whilst in a car journey when he got upset. The music has a background sea noise which is soothing. the only downside is the music ends too soon, mean8ng you can not leave it close by to play, you need to press it regularly. - Strengths:

My little had this glow worm and loved it the light is gentle and not too bright it also plays a lovely song which like most doesn't drive parents insane, i would recommend this product my daughter always had hers close to her until the age of 15months

Fantastic. Out little girl really likes the soothe and glow seahorse. She doesn't like to be put down in the dark, even when we believe she is in the deepest of sleeps. However, since having the soothe and glow, she goes down like a dream. I would say a secret must have. - Strengths:

I loved the idea of this but it just didn't work with our little one. It is a great musical you and he loved listening to the music and looking at the light. However for us the light was a bit bright and it just distracted him meaning he played with it rather than being soothed to sleep! We an end up with a small nightlight and a white noise matching instead. It is a good quality you and we still use it during play times as a fun musical toy. - Strengths:

My LO loves her seahorses. Easy to turn off by pressing the belly of the seahorse once LO is asleep. Only trouble is you cant wash it but a bit of light soapy water and its fine :) - Strengths:

My son will not sleep without this! He loves this seahorse and has recently worked out how to turn it on himself which is even better (squeeze the belly). The glow is really reassuring for him and the tunes are nice, with water sounds in between. Great little companion and was small enough to pack for our holiday abroad.

Description
The Fisher Price Soothe & Glow Seahorse keeps baby company at night time and gently soothes to sleep.
When the seahorse is held and gently cuddled, his belly softly glows and he plays over five minutes of music and ocean sounds.
The music is comprised of eight sweet musical selections, as well as soothing sounds of the sea (two ocean tracks).
After five minutes, the sounds and lights gently fade out just as baby nods off.
