My little boy wouldn't breastfeed so I expressed using this pump for at least six weeks and several times daily. I found it so easy and comfortable to use, we became quite attached, figuratively and literally!
The unit is quiet & discreet, easy and comfortable to use on battery power or on mains power depending how mobile you need to be. I also found the parts-tubing, breastshields etc easy to clean and sterilise.
Very helpfully all of the accessories in the Medela range are compatible so I could use the accessories, bottles and shields that I was given by friends and used in the hospital. You do pay more initially but I believe justifiably. This pump enabled me to express as a stressed out first time mum for many weeks and I would go out and buy another one in a heartbeat.

Great pump, powerful and quick to get a full bottles worth, but really comfortable.
I loved the let down feature, it’s not too noisy either.
My only issue is that my baby didn’t get on with the medela bottles so I ended up decanting milk into a different brand, though this isn’t a huge deal.
It’s compact and easy to clean, quick to get out and get going when you only have 10 minutes to express.
    Highly recommended.

Bought this product when I had my first baby and using it for my second baby now. Very easy to use with the medela pump and save milk storage bags and medela bottles. However it would be nice if there was an adapter to use with different branded bottles. Very compact and portable as it can be used with mains or battery operated. Can be easily cleaned and is very comfortable to use.

This pump! Well, it’s amazing. It amazed me how much it could suck out these bad boys!
The pump itself and the functions are really good. It has several functions depending on the suction you want! And a little warm up setting.

I found compared to other pumps it was quicker to finish expressing!

Only downside is, the noise of it does sound a bit like a cow mooing!

This breast pump is hands down one of the best on the market. It’s not too noisey which is ideal for early morning expressing when you don’t want to wake the baby! It has quite a strong suction so I feel pretty certain a lot of my milk is being expressed. The suction cup fits well around the breast and is comfortable.
The tubing that attaches the pump to the breast part does get mouldy easily-in 6 months I’ve Replaced the tube twice and I would express once or twice a day. You can’t wash or sterilise it otherwise water will get into the motor.

I used this for the first 6 months of breast feeding, its perfect for the job if you're not pumping too often. If however you're keen to pump multiple times a day, I'd recommend the double pump.

I used it with batteries as much as possible, as it meant I could do other things, rather than be sat down.

After using this, I later discovered the Yoomi pump, and this has soft silicon breast cups which is much more comfortable on the breast.

After trying a few different pumps on the market I found this one to be the best, easiest and less time consuming. I was unable to pump with other products due to them not having the right pump strength, this one was the right strength and perfect for me as a first time mum. It can be a bit noisy but it isn't noticeably loud after a while.

After using this in hospital I brought this one for home. It was easy to use and comfortable which I wasn't expecting initially. The use of mains power or batteries meant I could pop it into my baby bag for when away from home. I even went as far as buying extra bottles in there own little cool bag

This is my favourite pump. Since I used it in hospital with my first child I then bought one at home and have used it with my subsequent 2 children - the power cable is a little dodgy now but it has been 3 years and I lent it to a friend too! Great for storing milk and relieving excess milk when engorged. Easy to use and portability is a bonus!

I bought this product on the recommendation of a few mum friends and I wasn't disappointed. Came nicely packaged with all the parts and accessories, easy to assemble and worked well from the get go. It's not cheap..but then none of the better quality electric pumps are, so I would strongly recommend this for anyone planning on building up a store, express breastfeeding or trying to stimulate milk production. My only criticism is the noise..there is nothing discreet about the racket made by this Pump..so if you're in public, at work or on a train is recommend a quieter or manual pump..otherwise you will get funny looks

I found the product very useful and I found myself using the product several times a day. Its great that the medela bottles connect straight to the device for easy collection and storage of the breast milk. However I did find it difficult to feed my child whilst pumping the spare breast. I also found the device to be quite loud so did disturb baby on a number of occasions. But this is easier than hand expressing or manual pumping and I have kept my product to use for next baby as I would still highly recommend.

A great pump, used to exclusively pump whilst baby in NICU and then continued to use through weaning onto food to express milk to add to cereal. Small, lightweight pump in a handy little drawstring bag. A good fit and easy to use without any discomfort but a little noisy. Would definitely recommend.

Love this pump. Used it since baby was couple months old to build a supply for when I started uni. Not as noisy as some pumps. Can sit at the back of a lecture and the lecturer can not hear it. Multi speed function. Two phase pumping to mimic baby's sucking pattern. Compact design easy to transport. Easy to pull apart to clean. Would recommend.

A good quality product which is easy to use and clean. Pump comes apart into easy to clean and sterilise parts. Has multiple suction strengths and has worked well for me for the first 6 months of our breast feeding journey. The teat for the medela bottle (calma) is the only bottle my little girl will take, the calma teat requires the baby to suckle in the same way they would feeding, making transition between breast and bottle easier.

After using a manual pump for my first daughter I decided to treat myself to this pump for my second...absolutely amazing! Not only could I successfully give my baby breast milk but I was able to pump lots more than needed and store for later! Fit nicely and never made me sore. Definitely recommend and love mine!

This is a good pump, it does the job with minimal noise. It is quite expensive but if you use it often then it’s wortg it. The downside for me is that it can only be used with medela bottles and the pump comes with 1. This means that once that one has been used you either have to empty it or have another bottle ready. The calma read it comes with isn’t the greatest. I found that it key baby suck too much air through it.

I tried several different breast pumps (manual and electric) before buying my Medela swing. I'm currently using it again with number two so it's a great investment. For me, this is the best electric pump as it's so comfortable to use, it's not as noisy as others and expresses my milk quickly.

I have used a few pumps, manual and electric and this is the make that I have had best results with. I holds suction very well. I have had mine for both children and I have not yet had any issues or had to buy spare parts as of yet. It has quite a strong suction so I would make sure you use a comfortable suction otherwise you could get sore. It is also very lightweight and packs away in a handy carry bag making it ideal to pack when travelling. It is also relatively quiet compared to others I have used.
