I purchased whisbear for my daughter when I was pregnant as I’d heard such good reviews and they were so right! we absolutely love Whisbear my daughter has had him with her since she was just a few hours old and as she’s getting older she loves playing with him, she grabs hold of his legs and tries to suck his nose! Whisbear is amazing as the cry sensor starts before my daughter fully wakes during the night and sends her back to sleep peacefully! He just clips onto the side of her cot and Moses basket when she was newborn.
We’ve now decided to try more of the whisbear range and have a whisbird which I would also highly recommend it comes with its own strap to hang to the car seat, pram or bouncy chair. My daughter loves playing with his wings as they make a little crinkly sound whisbird doesn’t come with a cry sensor but when you press the white noise piece it lasts for 40 minutes so plenty of time while in her car seat, whisbird is a lot smaller than whisbear so I would definitely recommend whisbear if your out and about a lot so whisbear can stay safe at home

I had 2 version with and without cry sensor. The old design without cry sensor much more cosy and my LO love it. The new version is ok but too expensive and cry sensor activate very easy (not necessary when your baby cry). Apart from that is helping to settle a baby in the first 3 months.

This really helps my son get to sleep and if he stirs the cry sensor triggers and it comes back on. This doesn’t seem to always settle him as sometimes it comes on if he signs and sometimes it doesn’t always come on even if he’s winging. My batteries only last a few days and I have written to the company who have offered an exchange of the cry sensor.

Maybe I was hoping for too much with this product, but it hasn’t improved our little ones sleep. It does seem to help get him to sleep, but only if he’s relaxed and drifting off anyway. The sensor function that turns the sound back on when he starts to cry/whimper is good, but doesn’t send our darling back to sleep! The design is cute - and the different textures on the ‘legs’ help entertain/distract the baby when he’s being changed.

My daughter Aurora has used this from birth, not only is it absolutely adorable but it does exactly what it’s meant to. Soon after it’s turned on aurora will drift off to sleep, the cry sensor is my favourite thing about it, if she wakes through the night whisbear will automatically turn itself back on and reassure her and comfort her back to sleep. Now auroras 8 months old and she still uses it to sleep but she also loves playing with it, the different colours, textures and crinkly bits are amazing.

So on first appearance, the bear, to me, is beautiful! It’s simple & modern looking..for me that’s a real biggie! The whisbear has lovely colourful legs & ears that also crackle when played with to stimulate hearing senses but I love that the bear is just simple & grey & actually looks like a bear too!
So I’ve used the bear every day since I received it. At first my little girl didn’t really need anything to pacify her as she was still in the early newborn phase where she just needed me & my smell to settle her down. As much as I loved that, it just wasn’t always practical to do with two toddlers running riot & also needing constant attention, this I where the whisbear came in. I would lay Heidi in her sleepyhead, and place the whisbear securely on the side so she could see it and also hear it and ‘viola’, within seconds she would calm down & be drifting off into a peaceful sleep! What more could a mama want! But that’s not all the bear does! It has a revolutionary aid that when your baby cries, within the first 3 hours of the bear finishing his white noise (that lasts for 40 minuets) she will automatically turn on the white noise to soothe your baby off to sleep again without you having to get up & do it yourself. I LOVE this bit of technology! It’s been a total life saver sometimes. Sometimes when my children are sleeping in the day, I take the odd bath (if I’m lucky) & if Heidi starts to whine just for some reassurance that she’s not alone, the whisbear switches on & soothes her back off to sleep, meaning I get an extra 20 minutes in the bath! The whisbear also is a great size & fits in my baby bag easily! Also because he has magnetic feet that magnet together he stays on pretty much everything, and can be attached anywhere! He’s usually attached to the car seat handle or the side of our pushchair! Also another biggie for me is that you can take the white noise sound device out and totally wash the bear! Overall an amazing product! Highly recommended
