So we brought this a few years ago now for our eldest. We used to have a cheap one which tbh was absolutely rubbish. So I went online to find a new one and came across this. Yes I thought, wow that’s pricey! So I thought I would read some reviews, of course they were all positive so I purchased it and I’m so glad I did because it really is brilliant!. You can turn the camera from side to side or up and down via the monitor so you don’t have to disturb your child! You can always talk through the camera and play white noise.
It really is fab! Would definitely recommend

On the whole, I have found this to be a really good monitor. The picture is very clear, even when the room is dark. You are able to move the angle of the camera easily, should baby move positions and can talk through the monitor. The monitor also plays different music to help soothe baby.
Only downside I have found for this monitor is that the battery drains quickly. I now leave it plugged into the charge most of the time, but I can take it easily off the charger to carry about the house.
On the whole I would highly recommend this product

After doing lots of research on which monitor would be best for us, we decided that this monitor had everything we needed. We liked the screen was big, however later discovered that it's not the clearest of pictures. When in use, I can hear my baby cry when I am down stairs, before the monitor goes off. We have to charge it daily, because the battery doesnt last. Over all I'm sure there are better monitors out there.

I did extensive research into monitors and settled on the BT 6000 after reading many good reviews. The whole thing felt a bit dated. The chunky plastic monitor, the robotic lullabies thst are so fast they’re actually stimulating rather than relaxing for the baby. The button icons look very 1990’s and the deal breaker for me was the very blurry screen due to pixilation. I honestly don’t understand why when we are in the age of technology and mobile phones have endless capabilities and crystal clear imaging that someone can’t come up with a baby monitor in the same league. On the plus side the VOX worked well and seemed to pick up noise accurately, the ability to remotely move the camera is handy too but all in all I was so disappointed with the product I returned it in less than a week.

I got given this at my baby shower, and recently been using it now our baby is in his own room. I absolutely love being able to see him, which helps me distinguish if he is crying in a nightmare or is genuinely crying. It also means I can check on him without disturbing him. It’s not the best video quality but you don’t need it to be. It goes into night vision which is incredible. The screen has the temperature on it which has been super useful now we are heading into winter so I can adjust the thermostat accordingly. There is a brightness setting which even on the lowest setting is too bring for me at night so I just face the screen down on my bedside table. You can have a timer setting on it so as the screen goes off but where we use white noise it sets the screen back on so I turned off that function as the flashing screen was more annoying. It does has lullabies on it too, and you can talk to baby. It’s a brilliant piece of kit that is simple to use too! It has good range and I would be lost without it now! The only downside is that it does randomly loose signal now and again and cuts out, but it is very quick to pick it back up again. I’ve no idea why, and it probably happened a couple of times a night (it is static at this point as we are downstairs) but it comes back fine with no problems so not concerned. I definitely would recommend this to any friends. I hadn’t thought much about monitors before but being able to watch my baby fall asleep and check on him without disturbing him is brilliant.

The size of the screen on this baby monitor is great and the quality of the picture is really good. The facility to talk to your baby is a good option.

I haven't really used the lullabies as I feel they could be a bit softer and slower if trying to help soothe baby to sleep.

Overall it's a good monitor and worth the money.

Love this monitor, perfect for any parent who is nervous about baby being in a different room. The camera is so clear that it is easy to check on baby when they're sleeping in their own room without having to peek and risk waking them up! Colour screen for day time is clear and night mode is still easy to make out what baby is doing. Has volume controls, talk back mode, option to play music through the monitor and has a zoom and pan mode so baby is always in view.

I love this monitor as I can see my baby at all times and the picture is so clear that I can actually see he’s breathing. Was bought as a gift but wouldn’t buy any other monitor myself now. It includes the temperature of the room which is handy to know how to dress your baby, especially during the summer months. Highly recommend.

Just purchased this for our 2 month old.
After having other video monitors, we wanted one with not only an app but with a screen you could carry around too.
    This one is fantastic.
Well worth the price tag, big screen, great quality camera for high day and night vision.
Easy to use and set up on both the camera and app.
Great that it has a 2 way speaker so we can talk to our baby before going to settle her. Plays music, controls to move camera around.
All round great, already recommended it to many!

I bought a video monitor after having an audio monitor glued to my ear at all times. It was super easy to set up with clear instructions and easy to zoom and turn the camera for the best angle. I love how clear the video is so I can be sure my baby is okay. It turns itself onto standby and the screen and sound only comes on when there is a sound, which is useful as it stops me staring at it at all times. I have it right by an open window and it doesn't turn on for every car sound luckily. It has a good connection range so I can still see him from my garden.

This monitor has some really handy features including: Ability to talk to baby through the monitor, plays lullabies and the screen can be set to activate when any sound is picked up. After researching many monitors before purchasing one I am 100% happy with the choice we made.

We've been using this product for a while now and been impressed with the clear picture, ease of use and general suitability for purpose. We can adjust the angle easily to see our baby clearly, it produces a clear image helping you to monitor your baby closely. The sound quality is ok, though could be clearer. It is a little on the pricey side but worth the money. The thermometer aspect would be fantastic if it were accurate.

We reached the time for my daughter to go into her own room and I only felt comfortable doing this if we had a video baby monitor to allow me to see if she had her face covered etc. I did a lot of research and looking around to find one that had everything I was looking for. I came across this baby monitor from BT and although it wasn't the cheapest in the market there were great reviews about it so I thought I would give it a go. It's a great baby monitor and does exactly what it says on the tin! The picture quality is good as is the sound quality. The screen on the parent unit is also huge so great for when your half asleep in the middle of the night! I would definitely recommend this baby monitor especially to any mummy's like myself who want to be able to check up on baby easily.

I brought this based on reviews I could find online. It has an amazing range which you can ensure you can get on with whatever you have to do (boring housework, washing etc).
There are loads of features including sound sensors, auto night vision, a push-to-talk system, lullabies and that big display. It has a 5 inch monitor which you can take around with you as you please. It has a colour panel that also displays in night vision automatically when the camera detects light is low. On the front of the monitor are physical buttons for quick and easy control of volume and brightness, and there’s a push-to-talk feature too. On the rear is a pop-out stand that lets you prop the monitor upright. Down the side of the screen are a series of lights that will indicate if sound is detected going from green to red as it gets louder. The camera base is well made and solid, so it can be propped on a cot edge easily. There’s plenty of flexibility in the neck, which allows you to perfectly tilt it downwards towards your child in the cot. The tilt on the monitor is amazing and has a wide range to move. The sound sensors are fantastic. This allows the monitor to go onto standby and automatically comes on when any movement occurs or baby makes any sound. The push-to-talk button is another amazing feature that lets you speak into the monitor and allow baby to hear you too. It has a useful temperature gauge displayed on the monitor. Compared to a dedicated thermometer, there was a little play by a degree or so, but as a general guide it works well.
Overall, I love this handy baby monitor!

You can play lullabies and talk through the monitor. Great reach too, if we’re in the garden we can still see/hear him. You can move the camera too if baby moves in the cot.

    This is an amazing monitor.
When our first baby was born, we couldn't decide if we wanted a monitor with video or not. We eventually bought this one and I haven't regret it for a second.
It's great to be able to check on your baby. Quality of the screen is really good. You can see if he/she threw up and you can even see him/her breathing. It also pops on immediately when the baby starts making a noise. The charger cable is really long which came in handy a lot of the time.

This is an excellent product and when we bought it, it was full price at £129 and I would pay that again. It is worth every penny, the quality of the picture is very good considering it’s in the dark, the only thing I would change would be the lullabies they have. They are awful. But we don’t use them we have an alternative

I can’t fault this baby monitor, I did have high expectations for the £129 price tag and wasn’t let down. The quality of the night video is amazing. I’d say it’s even better than the day time video quality. It’s neat and compact, the monitor has a good battery life so if you forget to charge it one night it’s not going to go flat instantly. The camera can be wall mounted to get the best view of your baby - which I think it’s a fantastic idea as getting the right angle from just placing the camera on something can be quite tricky.

It has a sensor that picks up even the slightest of sounds so you can ensure the safety of your baby. It picks up when my baby even breathes out loudly, flicks on automatically and you can watch your baby laying there. I can even see his chest moving up and down - yes the quality is THAT good. For me this is a big selling point as for a first time mum I’m always panicking about him breathing, so this helps a lot.

They have good lengths of wire on them to be able to keep them plugged in by the side of the bed for convenience.

The monitor has a room temperature display which I think is a brilliant idea, it means one less gadget needs to be bought to keep an eye on the room temperature.

It plays lullabies, has 2 way talking systems there’s plenty of pros for this monitor and if anyone was to ask which one I used I would recommend this one 100%.

We bought this after having our baby in his own room for the first time and I’m so glad I did, it just put me at ease. The picture is so clear even in the dark and the sound quality is better than any other monitors we have had. The camera can either be placed on a shelf as it has a stand or go on the wall. We put ours on the wall as we found it the best way to have the best angle of the cot but you have a remote on the handheld to adjust the cot if need be, for is the baby moves slightly etc. But a very handy feature! I put the downfall as battery life as I like to have mine next to me throughout the night so I have to plug it in as it automatically turns itself off but that’s really no issue at all. All in all, very happy, have had it now for 2 weeks and am very pleased we got it. The price is higher than other similar products but the picture you get in such a dark room is great quality and it was up ready to use so quickly. Very handy!

It can be daunting to start and put your baby in a different room to you to sleep, but this gives you ultimate peace of mind. The range is really good and the video and sound quality are excellent. Night vision means you can see your little one at all times. We do not use the feature yet, but we can imagine the talk back feature will be very helpful with slightly older children. The only negative I can see is the battery life of the screen unit. It only lasts for a few evenings and then makes this annoying beep until you plug it in to recharge it. Overall though, we are really pleased with our purchase!
