I’ve just started to wean my 6 month old son so am currently a regular user of this book. I think mine is an older version as I’m aware of a few Recent changes in guidance that aren’t in the book. My copy talks a lot about the pros of breastfeeding which I understand but unfortunately for those of us who wanted to but couldn’t I feel the way it’s constantly mentioned and the way it’s worded got my back up a tad. Overall a great go to book which is easy and quick to read.

This book was an absolute god send when my baby was small. I was so nervous about weaning and what foods to give/not to give! This book completely made me be at ease with cooking foods and made my shopping a lot simpler as I could find a recipe and then just go and get the ingredients! The recipe are lovely, I even love the sound of some! Couldn’t recommend it any more

It's been a long time since I had to wean a child and felt a little out of my depth. Baby led weaning wasn't around when I had my first and I felt lost. I purchased this to help me gain a balanced understanding on each way to wean and it definitely provided that. I found it explained everything well enough for me to make an informed choice. The recipes are fantastic and all the ones I've used have been a hit in our home.

This is the only weaning book I have purchased, and that was due to it being on sale in Aldi (£4.99!) but I’m really happy I did. I thought when the time for weaning came along I would be instinctive and know what to do, but actually as that time came closer I realised I didn’t have a clue where to even think about starting! This book has helped me hugely in knowing the right approach to take for my baby, I’m really glad I picked it up!

Love love love this book on baby weaning. I have literally made very single recipe in this book. Easy to follow recipes- perfect for batch cooking and freezing.
Step by step guide on how much LO should be eating and by how old etc.
A really good guide for first time mums like me.

As a first time mom I wanted only the best for my baby and wanted to make the food myself, my sister recommended the annabel karmel books and it was the best thing I bought so many delicious recipes and snacks. I got the toddler one as she grew up and she's almost 3 and i still use it when I need ideas and something different. I would highly recommend these books.

I brought this book like most mum's when we started the weaning process. I had read other books mainly from well known baby relates companies but found this book to have lovely original ideas.

I myself am not a very good cook but I found the recipes in here easy to follow and my little girl has tried foods I would never have even thought to give a baby.

Very informative and a well presented book in all. Affordable also and would definitely recommend this if you are wanting some inspiration for your little one.

I bought this to gain some new ideas for recipes as the weaning progressed but to also use when I first started weaning. It really helped me as a first time mum introducing foods that I would never have thought of buying for my baby to try.
The only problem is that it could have more snack ideas but other books are good for this.
I find all Annabel Karmel books amazing and easy to use.
