So easy to use makes bath time a lot easier as it has a red flashing light if the water is to hot and floats nicely on top of the water.

A great little piece of equipment that gives me the reassurance about bath temps. Has made bath times more enjoyable knowing the bath is just right tmep. Also becomes a toy once son in bath.

Great little thermometer that can be used to test both water and room temperature.
I have used it every day for 3 months now at bath and bedtime and had no issues at all.
Has a blinking light that goes off if temperature goes above 38°, floats in water and has a little stand to sit on when out of the water.
I suggest drying it thoroughly after bath time use to prevent moulding.
Great for peace of mind and I would definitely buy again should it break.

A great little gadget that can be used for room temp and bath temp. Easy to travel with as it’s compact. It floats and has a flashing fed light when the bath temperature is too hot which is a great indicator.

This is really easy to use. You just bang it to come on so you don't waste battery. The baby can also play with it in the bath.

We love this product, with a quick tap on the side of the bath and put it in the water you are able to see the temperature. It also starts flashing if it’s to hot which is very handy. Couldn’t imagine not having one of these!!

This is a decent thermometer. We use it for the bath mostly. You need to hit it quite hard on a hard surface to activate it and then I put it in the bath whilst I’m filling into otherwise it takes a while to read the correct temperature.

This is perfect for running a bath. Our little one has always enjoyed bath time and I think that’s partly down to the bath being a comfortable temperature every time. To turn on the thermometer you have to tap it a couple times quite firmly on a hard surface, this can be a bit hit and miss and when trying to use for a room temperature and it’s no good if you are trying to quietly check the room temp around a sleeping baby! For the bath however, it works perfectly and we now only use it for this.
An LED light starts to flash red if the water is too hot for a baby (39 degrees or over) so you can clearly see whilst running the bath if the temp starts to rise too high. This gives you peace of mind that the bath temperature will be both safe and comfortable.
The only downsides are that it turns off automatically after a few minutes (this is good for battery saving) but it means you have to tap it again to check the temp. This is another reason I wouldn’t bother using it to check the room temperature and instead leave it for bath times only. If you need to replace batteries I would say forget it because once you have opened the back, it breaks the waterproof seal and then doesn’t work in water! I think with it turning off after a short time and only being used for running a bath then it should last a fairly long time though and for the price you pay, you could argue it’s disposable. It does claim to be safe for children to play with in the bath, however I’m not sure I would trust this with young babies just in case the back was to fall off and the battery could fall out (it’s just a screw off back).
To conclude I would definitely recommend this product with its best use being for running baths (I also use it as a gauge of when to get baby out as you can see when the temperature starts to drop and therefore baby doesn’t get too cold)

The thermometer is very easy to use. As a new mum (and a worrier) this product really puts my mind at rest especially at bathtime, tested against manual thermometers it has proven to be reliable which means I feel comfortable bathing my baby knowing the water is not too hot or too cold. The flashing LED alerts me as to when the water is too hot meaning I can rectify it and make sure my baby is safe.

This product gave me such peace of mind. I am a first time mum and was worried that the bath was ether too warm or too cold. So this was perfect. Instructions explain best temperature. You just place it in the bath it comes up clearly. Can also be used for room temp. It is affordable and reliable. In my opinion this is a must buy.

This is an excellent and reliable thermometer. It’s LED light flashes when the water is too hot so it’s really easy to see before placing your baby in the bath. I have also used it to check the room temperature and it has always been reliable and accurate. A recommended buy for all new parents - although it’s slightly expensive, I still think it’s worth it for the ease and accuracy.

I bought this product as I've worked in the childcare industry and had seen it used in many different settings as a room thermometer. It's a good price and small so you can take it away with you. It measures the temperature of the room and also a baby's bath. It's very simple to use you just tap it to switch it on and it gives you a reading which may adjusts within the first minute or two. I have always found it to be accurate and have been using it for about 7 months now and the battery seems to be fine. It doesn't stay on for very long and you have to tap it to wake it up again but that results in the battery lasting longer.

Like most first time parents we were terrified about doing anything wrong so wanted to check and double check everything including the temperate of our babies bath water!
Initially this seemed great and gave us confidence we weren’t going to scold our child but after awhile it just didn’t seem to be accurate. It would take quite awhile to state the correct temperature but then when you put your hand in the water it felt completely different. We stuck with it for about two weeks then just went on our instincts instead. I won’t bother with it for our next one but it did help with the new parent fears!

Its easy to use, has a little red flashing light to warn you that water is too hot for baby. I initially brought it so it could measure room and bath temperature but it doesn't stay on when its out of the water so its pretty usless using it as a room thermometer. It stays on for a little while then turns off. Does come with a little stand.

I got this product from Home Bargains about a year a go when they had them in stock for about £8, so I really can't complain about the price. It is a really handy product, that I used both in the bath and a room temperature gauge in the summer. The battery lasted for about 4/5 months before it started to die, at that point I was unsure it was still giving accurate readings and took a long time to give its reading. The battery is held in very securely to make sure it is water tight, but maybe a bit too much, as I couldn't get the thing open and then closed again. I would buy a new one if they ever have it on offer again as it was very useful.

I don't really use this as a room thermometer, just for the bath.
I don't like the fact I literally have to bash it against the wall to get it to turn on and it takes forever to take the temperature. I will be adding hot water, as on the thermometer it shows it's not hot enough and then after a while it starts flashing at me saying it's too hot because it's not quick enough to read the temperature at the time.
The stand for this is useless and because of that the thermometer has gone mouldy from where the water is trapped in the cracks. We have had to throw it away.

Great product. Simple to use. Great that it can be used in the room then popped in the bath. Nice small design however the stand seems slightly small and occasionally the thermometer slips off.

We bought this thermometer when my daughter was born and it worked for a year, than the battery died, so we binned it. I would not recommend to change it, because after it will be not waterproof. The fault is in the design. For this much money it should work longer.
Also the thermometer itself gets crazy sometimes and shows different temperatures in the water.
Easy to use, put it in the water and check that the light is the right colour and the temperature is right for your baby.

Love this. We use it all the time and always take it with us when travelling. Literally tap on surface to activate and place in water to check temperature. Flashes red if water is too hot! Great for new parents.

To start, for the price, we were expecting great quality. As soon as we had it out, we had to take the backing off and replace the battery, then realising that the back didn't actually seal properly. When used in the bath it wouldn't show above 20• & sunk to the bottom of the bath each attempt.

I would recommend using your elbow, because it will save you the £10/£15 wherever you buy it.

I Loved this product and used it both as a bath thomomator as well as room temperature gauge. I used it for 6months non stop till I went to use it in the bath and noticed that the battery had somehow came lose and water had seeped inside and broke it. but I thought I would give it another go and bought another as I Loved it so much the first time.

Great little product. I always leave it in the bath for 5 mins before bathing baby as sometimes it takes a while and bounces between temperatures.

Ideal little gadget for new parents perfect due to its dual use for room and bath very easy to use comes with a stand for when it’s being used as room thermometer also.

this has definitely come in handy for us! We use it mainly as a room temperature rather than for bath time. So far so good the readings have been accurate!
I love that it isn’t to big so it doesn’t look daft in your living room shelf, the only thing I do dislike about this is the fact that you have to tap the screen in order to get a reading!... one tap just isn’t enough lol so you do look a little daft tamping the crap out of a star lol!!
It’s good though & works as should, worth the money .
