I bought these shells hoping to collect the milk I was wasting through leaking on the go on the days where my breasts were very full. Unfortunately, the few times i've tried them, the press painfully against my skin and leave a deep mark around my nipple. They collected a few drops of milk, which would have been soaked up into a breast pad, but it wasn't enough to save. Not for me sadly!

These are a great idea but just didnt work.for us, my boobs dont leak or have crazy let downs like some.people do so.there was nothing to catch. You wouldnt walk around wearing these as you would definitely see them under your clothes. If you bent down the milk would spill out of the top and they dont hold a great volume either.

They can help and are discrete but I gave up. Frequently bending over for my born meant they leaked over my clothes each time. I decided the lost milk wasn’t worth it for me.

These are fab for use in the day for catching leaks. I'm a little disappointed I cant use them lying down overnight as that is when I have my worst leaks and I hate to waste my milk but they are excellent in the daytime. Catches the unexpected leaks and I can then tip into my babys bottle and feed it instead of the waste you get with pads

Catch leaking milk we’ll when feeding on other breast

These are really great milk catchers to use on one breast whilst feeding from the other. I lose a lot of leaking milk this way, it’s easy to catch and store using the shells. They are also comfortable to wear instead of breast pads when I’m at work.

I absolutely love these so much. I use the silicon pump while pumping but can be big and in the way especially when trying to feed a baby that is inquisitive . So the medela shells are just perfect. They fit perfectly they are discrete, soft and extremely comfortable you don’t even know you’re wearing them. My only problem is I forget milk is in the shells and down and it does leak out but this is the fault of mine not of the shells . I love that I can wear these when feeding my baby and he can’t knock them like he does when I feed him. I love that they are very easy and convenient. Highly recommend .

These breast shields saved my breastfeeding journey - I started with the disposable cotton pads which were so uncomfortable on my sore nipples. Wearing the shells meant my nipples weren’t touching anything and it gave them a chance to heal over instead of being rubbed against. I wish I had found these when I was feeding my first baby! An absolute must for breast feeding mums!

I try to use cottons patches for the early days of breastfeeding but it was a disaster for my nipples. I have resolved every problem with this product. The only problem is when you forgot clean from the milk for a long time and you lost milk everywhere. But definitely I would use it again and again.

these are amazing! help air out nipples and make them harden within days so the first few weeks of feeding is much less sore!

These are an absolute must have item for any breastfeeding Mum. They give your nipples a chance to ‘air’ without having to walk around topless and leak!
I found they helped my cracked nipples heal quicker and were much less painful to use compared to breast pads.
They are perfect for collecting milk if you tend to leak when feeding and can pour the milk into storage to use later or just discard.
The only downside to these is that they are bulky and you will notice them in your bra under a tight top if you were going out but otherwise fantastic product.
