The quinny buzz xtra is a moderately priced from birth pushchair. It comes with a newborn insert or you can purchase the carrycot separately. I used mine from birth with the newborn insert mainly.

The newborn insert is a wedge which fills the seat and makes it flat. The straps slot through it so baby is nice and secure. I actually preferred this to a carrycot as I found that when on bumpy paths or off road babies tend to slide about in a carrycot as they are not strapped. The hood is massive and extendable so provides plenty of cover, but does stop you from seeing baby which I find annoying.

The seat unit is very comfortable. Its well padded and the straps are easy to adjust. I do think the seat unit is small and although its advertised to last until around 3 years old I doubt most children would be comfortable at that age in it.

The foot rest is adjustable and I loved this pushchair untill my child was around 18months.

I love the air filled tires. These are brilliant for off road and we have taken this pushchair all over! The three wheel design is also good on rough ground and the front swivel wheel is lockable.

The fold takes a bit of a knack and I find it awkward . It does unfold itself though which is handy! You need to take it into two pieces to fold and it is bulky. Its not going to fit into a small car boot. Its also quite heavy but the weight does give it more stability.

I love that baby can world or parent face but its quite reclined when parent facing which some babies wont like. The basket is also small and shallow so not ideal for shopping. The handlebar adjusts to a good height, i am 5ft 10 and its a nice height for me. The brake is easy to put on and off too and it comes with a raincover.

I also love that the handlebar and bumperbar are not foam! They are much more hardy and no worries of bite marks

Over all the buzz is great if you like country walks. The hood is huges but does stop you from seeing baby. The wheels are great and i like the automatic unfold but I think two years is the maximum it would last.

This pram is fabulous, from the beginning of putting it together and folding it away; I can take it out of the boot of the car with one hand while I hold baby in the other. It turns corners and goes over bumps with such ease. I bought a Quinny footmuff to use with it, and it’s wonderful! The underneath storage basket is on the small side; but I rarely use it because I have my nappy bag hanging from the handle. My baby girl used the new born insert and the moved on to the normal chair; and she loves looking up and out around her. I’ve taken it on and off buses; and it’s very easy to manoeuvre. I would recommend this pram to anyone!

• Strengths:

Manoeuvrability, changing system around is easy, hard wearing and easy to take apart/put together.

• Weaknesses:

Tiny basket underneath and the attachable bag is teeny too so not great for lots of shopping.

I bought the Quincy Buzz Xtra second hand with all the extras/accessories after having an Oyster pram that we didn’t get on with. I’m so glad we did because the Quinny is a great pram. It’s easy to swap between the pushchair and the adapters for either the bassinet or the car seat (we have a Maxi cosi). The rear wheels are quite wide but manoeuvrability is great with the three wheeled system (we haven’t bought the four wheeled converter). The only downside is the basket and bag are useless for storage so if you need it for big shops this is not the chair for you. It fits a changing bag and swimming bag at a push but the access is also tricky so not the best putting things in/out the basket. I’ve found using a large mummy clip on the handle works when I do go shopping though.

First of all this pushchair is very well built cant argue with that. Price is a little on the expensive side in my opinion as its not easy to push unless u have a very light or newborn child. Definitely not for use up to 3 years as their state. Design fault mean the seat i'm forward facing mode hits the main frame of the chasis and creates cosmetic damage. We also found the seat leg lift to be very tempremental. Its very hard to turn on corners. Even with handle extended and child facing you. Folding mechanism sticks and firstly is very hard to fold. This product is in my mind not one of the best. Certainly needs re assessment

• Strengths:

Rare/front facing, high seat unit, one handle push

• Weaknesses:

Bulky wheels, doesn't feel sturdy, smallish basket

We had this buggy for our 2,5 years old and unfortunately it did feel small for her, hence I find it would be a great deal for smaller babies, rather than toddlers.

Fantastic features would be rare and front facing seat, which is quite high up and this is something I would always appreciate in buggies as I love being close to my little ones.
It's a one handle push, although getting up/down the curbs can be tricky and I had to use both hands for this. Having 2,5 year old in it and doing curbs, I did have moments when I felt it may snap, but it never did, which means its built to last.

The hood could be slightly bigger or at different angle but having smaller baby in the buggy, it could do just a perfect job.
Basket is smallish but solid, and even with small rip in our one I had no doubts it wilk last. The folding mechanism is a bit tricky to get on with and it ends up taking a lot of space afterwards but it should fit in the boot of the car. Using this buggy on public transport, buses should be entered via back door (if available) as the wheels are quite high and kept getting stuck underneath the bus chairs.
Saying that, I did appreciate the pumped wheels for smooth push on the pavements or grass.

Overall, it's a good, smart looking with loads of colours the chose from buggy for newborns till probably 1,5years old. Great if you don't have to carry it around and not using public transport frequently.

Loved the red colour, once we knew how to fold the pram it was simple but took a while for the grandparents to work it out. Also very heavy when your in and out of the car a lot. Very easy to push and brilliant for off road walking.

After having 2 other travel systems in the past this has been my favourite and my little boy agrees. He's enjoyed and been comfy in every step. From the large spacious carry cot which lasted till he was 12 weeks old (hes a long baby) he is now enjoying the seat unit parent facing and forward facing. He's now six months old and has massive amounts of room left to grow. He's well supported and the ease of use to change seat position when hes tired is amazing.

I have this product from my cousin for our daughter and I really like it. It's smooth and easy to push. It's good to turn and it's good height wise for me as I'm not that tall. I also like the feature of the fact it can be both world facing and parent facing and it can be leant forward so baby is sat up or leant back so baby can sleep or drink bottles of milk. The shopping basket I would have liked to have been a bit bigger and deeper so I can fit more stuff in. Other than the size of the basket this pram is really good and worth the money.

I loved pushing my Quinny Buzz around town and it was so easy to control. The three wheel option is also adaptable if you purchase the two front wheel piece which I did. I liked having the choice. It is also great for reclining baby for naps and a newborn insert can be purchased instead of a carrycot. The only downside to this pushchair is the small size of the basket but this can be rectified by the use of buggy clips.

This pushchair is very very handy. I would absolutely recommend to anyone. I needed something small that fitted into my saloon car boot and this completely fitted the bill. Fits right into the corner of my boot and hardly takes up room. Very easy to put up and take down. Very handy with adapters for a car seat which is handy for quick journeys. Very easy to push as very light. Only thing that lets it down a little is that it's not very good at going down steps but just have to be a bit more careful. I will have my quinny for years to come!!

Personally i loved this push chair. I have the normal seat unit, a bassinet unit as well as the maxi cosi pebble car seat. This pram did both my children until they out grew it. I loved the fact you could buy different covers for protection and they were so easy to fit/remove. 8/10

Personally didn’t like the push or the overall look.
I did however like the colour schemes.

Although I love the look of the quinny buzz xtra for myself it has more cons than pros
It is an easy pushchair to fold down and is compact enough for most car boots, its also cosy and comfortable for your little one and easily changes from forward to back facing. (As long as child is not in the seat otherwise it's very very tricky)
From my experience tho it's not the easiest to manoeuvre and can be tricky in smaller spaces I also found that it's not really good for all terrain as it's specifies that it is ,the basket bellow is very small and holds next to nothing.

I used this pram for both my children from birth. I had the carrycot from birth which lasted until both my children were 5 months old before using the seat unit. It was so easy to put together and you could have the seat unit parent facing or forward facing which was perfect. It had different positions for the seat unit as well so if the baby fell asleep you could easily lay the seat unit down.
It’s so easy to collapse as well and to put it together I could do with one hand.
I would highly recommend this and would definitely purchase it again given the choice.

Bit unreliable.

Straight forward to collapse and say fairly compact.
