I was a little skeptical about this product but it has literally been a life saver. My son loves it and settles to sleep as soon as I put him in it. The position helps babies with colic or any discomfort after feeding. I have used this in this lounge for naps and currently inside the next-to-me chico cot at nighttime.

This is a great mattress. My daughter loved it. It elevates her into a good position, helps to prevent a flat head.

She was in a Pavlik harness and the moveable support under the knees was great for this. She slept on it the 7 weeks she was in a harness and her hips were fixed, so it must keep her in a great position!

What we loved was that as a newborn, we could put her in it downstairs, secure her in, let her drift off to sleep and then when we were ready to go up, we’d take the mattress and her together and pop it in the snuzpod next to our bed - that way she wasn’t disturbed.

I never used a cocoonababy with my first child, and regret it so much! I bought one when I had my son and he had been the best sleeper ever! Not only does it look cosy, comfortable and supportive, it is excellent to travel with or use in any room when baby is having a nap. I am certain that this product contributed to how well our son slept and I would recommend this product to any parent! It is a shame that the cost is so high, as it is quite a basic concept and not made of particularly expensive materials.

Bought this following a recommendation from a friend, this product has been a god send and we have used this since birth, my daughter sleeps in this in her crib, in her pram and when she is having her naps around the house, it is easy to move around as it is lightweight. She appears to feel safe and secure and she will sleep happily and soundly. It is expensive and additional sheets can add up the cost but it is worth it for a settled baby.

I love this product, I was sceptical at first if something like this would be worth the money but my baby sleeps like a dream in it and sleeps better with it.

I initially purchased a next to me but had to buy this to go inside the next to me. He slept for hours without waking during the night and was so settled. He is 4 month old now and it was difficult to transition him from the cocoon to th next to me crib. Although slightly expensive, worth it for a good nights sleep !

    It’s an absolute MUST!
My daughter loved hers! So much so now she’s to big I’ve had to go buy the Sleepyhead Grand as unfortunately Redcastle don’t do the next stage in size.
Sleep cosy, comfie, reduces comic/reflux. Easy to take out and about - sleep overs.
Use to out in Chicco next to you cot and big cot in own bedroom.Gave Ivy a sense of security. I wound most recommend this product to any new parents! Fabulous invention!!! ?????

This product was an absolute godsend. After a number of sleepless nights I ordered one of these on next day delivery out of desperation and it turned out to be our best baby buy. Our baby slept like a log in this for hours on end. I’m not even nervous about having another baby as know he/she will sleep beautifully in the cocoonababy.

Description

The Red Castle 'CocoonaBaby S3' white sleeping aid has been designed for use inside the cot during your babys first months.

The CocoonaBaby recreates the feeling of containment your baby used to. Having just left the constraints of their mother's womb, baby feels comforted, reassured and will help them adapt to a thwie new life.

The baby adopts a semi-foetal, cradled posture, which reduces skin problems, which can occur in its first months and reduces uncontrolled twitching of the limbs which can wake the baby up suddenly. This also limits the risks of' flat head syndrome'. The Cocoona also improves both the quality and the length of time that baby sleeps and can be used day and night from birth upwards until the time it begins to change its position independently. this happen at around approximately 4-5 months.

Product Features :

  • Welcoming baby gently into the world, providing him with a comforting, reassuring, womb-like space, the cocoonababy® helps the newborn make the transition to the outside world as smooth as possible.
  • The semi-foetal position, in which baby is as if contained and in a slightly curved posture, soothes and reassures him
  • It helps limit the onset of problems which could affect him during his first few months and encourages all-round development.
  • Improve the quality and length of sleep, reduce waking with a start or moro reflex.limit reflux problems.minimize the risk of flat head.encourage all-round development
  • For use from birth (from 2.8 kg / 6lb 2.7oz) and until the child starts trying to turn over or to adopt a different position (approx. 3-4 months).
