My Little one loved this ball, it was bright, colourful and definitely caught his attention. Great for tummy time as he lifted his head up to see what was going on. Encouraged crawling and for him to wiggle after it. I didn't pay full price for it and probably wouldn't, I paid £10 on offer. - Strengths:

This is a great toy and is very good at keeping a child’s attention for a long amount of time. Firstly it is great for encouraging crawling. Once turned on it rolls around and baby can happily chase after it. My little boy spent ages chasing it around the garden! It has little ribbons attached to the sides which are a great sensory addition. It has a catchy song which is ideal to clap along to and the lights are very bright and attention grabbing. My only slight quibble is it doesn’t move very easily on a carpet or rug, it needs to be on a flat surface such as hardwood floor. This can be limiting but wasn’t really an issue for me. This toy is really good to encourage crawling as it moves around the room little spaces at a time. It has music and has various things on it for the baby to touch. The only problem is it is quite heavy but this isn’t problem if kept on the floor when it’s moving around. It also has lights - a good entertaining toy. - Strengths:

We like our vtech crawl and learn toy, and it’s great toy from tummy time...crawling and now a bit more fun as he gets older trying to chase the animals and press the buttons.

I bought this for my son when he was 6 months old, to encourage him to learn to crawl. He loved watching it roll around and it kept him entertained for a while. However, it is very unpredictable with its movements and you cant guess which way it is going to roll. So, when I put my son down on his tummy to encourage him to crawl after it, the ball unfortunately rolled close to his face and the spinning turtle on the version we have smacked him right in the eye.
