Recently bought this for my 7 month old as his previous car seat was proving difficult to get him in and out of. Bought his and have constantly praised how good and easy it is to use. The rotation feature allows you to get your baby in and out of the car without having to worry about seatbelts in the way or hitting heads on roof of car. My son loves it as its more open for them to see everything while at the same time securing for safety. Would recommend for cars that have isofix

This car seat has been great for us. We were looking for a good car seat for ages but decided on this. Our little one loves it and gets so excited to get into his car seat! He falls asleep very comfortably too! It's easy to clean, especially after a bit of travel sickness on a long journey. We feel our son is very secure and safe in the Britax Romer, knowing it has been well tested. My only issue is that it's very expensive but got it gifted to us. My advice is to start saving early for this car seat it's not worth the risk of going for cheaper versions. I don't know how we're going to persuade out little one to give up this car seat for his sister!!

I’ve been using the car seat for two months now, we purchased this seat after a lot of research and reading reviews.
Our little girl was very uncomfortable and wouldn’t stop crying in the car seat we initially had as part of the pushchair travel set, once purchased we found an immediate difference, she now loves her seat and will now sleep in the car.
The car seat itself was easy to fit due to the isofix, it’s very easy to get the baby in and out due to the 360 rotation.
It’s very padded so very comfortable, it’s also very sturdy, only downsides is that it’s very bulky, we have a big car and the passengers seat is still quite far forward, also due to the position of the rear seats and the isofix the car seat is at an angle so when in its lowest recline, it’s still quite upright and I find the baby’s head can flop forward when asleep

Love the 360 degrees spin making it easy to put baby in the car. Like how it looks with the grey and black colours. The instructions are not great to fix the car seat in and it took 2 of us to figure it out. I don't like how the chest pads are so big for a small baby but like how they don't slip and move

I have been using this car seat for nearly 3 months now and i love it! So easy to carry my son out, clip him in and swivel him round without having to reach round and fight with buckles. The seat is quite deep so baby sinks in and you know they are protected. I love that if one of us runs into a shop and we are in the car waiting, if baby starts crying i can swivel him round to pacify him then swivel back before we set off! The only issue i have is i don't think it reclines enough because sometimes when my son fall's to sleep his head flops forward.
I can definitely see this seat lasting for many years to come

We have used this car seat since my son was a newborn and he is now almost 3 and it's still in perfect condition.
My favourite feature of this seat is the seat rotation, it makes getting in and out of the seat extremely easy. It's also useful for when or if you choose to forward face as there's no messing changing the car seat around. The seat fabrics are also easy to remove for cleaning.
My least favourite part of this car chair is that it doesn't have enough choice with reclining and I find when my son falls asleep in the chair his head flops down quite a lot as its quite upright. But that's the only issue I've had with the chair.
Overall I am very happy with the chair and would recommend to others.

Unbelievably heavy and recline stops functioning

Having had this seat for 2 years it has been well used. Overall the seat is very comfortable and my daughter never complains with plenty of room to grow. However it is complicated to switch from rear to forward facing and once you do this its recline function no longer works effectively. It also doesnt lock into place well. This has been returned to Britax under warranty who oiled it and sent back to last a further week or 2. Now out of warranty.
The seat is ridiculously heavy and if I could start it again I would not choose this seat for that reason.

This product has been amazing from the moment my first daughter was born, the ease or being able to carry her to the care turn the seat and then place her in comfortably without having to awkwardly bend over her to plug her in, she is now 3 years old and this car seat and grown with her, to now facing forward she loves when we press the button and swivel round, an all round great car seat for newborns all the way up to 5 years old!

I think overall this is a great car seat. My baby looks really secure in it which she didn't with her previous car seat, so I'm really happy with it. It can be rear facing until your child is 4, if you do want to be extra safety conscious.

Getting babies in and out is so much easier as the seat spins 360 degrees. You just hold in a button while you move the seat and it swivels really easily.

My baby looks really comfortable in this seat although I do wish it would recline a bit more for extra comfort.

The only negative that I really bothers me is how much space this takes up in my car. With my baby and a 4 year old's car seat, there's no room for anybody in the middle (and we have quite a roomy car).

The price is generally between £200-£300 which seems to be normal for similar car seats however to me that's still a lot of money.

Overall it's a great seat and we've loved using it!

My baby looks very comfy in this car seat, she easily goes to sleep even on a short journey. The swivel feature is brilliant and easy to use. The seat belt is easy to release and tighten. It can be fiddly to move between cars but that isn’t something you need to do often, and it is better to be well fitted than easy to move.

I bought this as my little one was getting very snug in her car seat. And it's great. It's easy to use and able to move the seat around to help get my LO out of the car without hurting my back. The design I flawless and looks so comfortable. We went for the pink colour and next time would defo go for black as soon as she sat in the car she was sick and this has shown up. But it doesn't bother me too much as plan on having this for a few years.
Before buying I checked to see if it would fit in my car and although it does its very snug and you have to have the front seats quite far forward for this to fit. It is extremely heavy and took two of us to fit.
I paid £224 for this an although it is pricey, if it goes up to 4 years then its not a lot in comparison.

Although this product is hard to install, and it's bulky, once it's on with, it's great. You can rotate the seat which makes it so much easier to get child/baby in and out. It's great that it can forward face and rear face.
I have this in purple which is lovely.
You can also told the seat into a couple of recline positions.

Love this car seat. We used for my now 4 year old daughter & son from about 3 months. It's so easy to get baby into as it rotates. Just a couple of slight negatives... the pads on the seat belt could be a bit more padded & it's big & bulky. It's fine if keeping in just one car.

This car seat is brilliant! A complete back saver. The seat twists all the way the car door so you can pop them straight in. My little one is nearly four and we are still using it rear facing. Never had issues with the movement of the actual belt bit or the turning mechanism.

Slightly heavy and bulky to transfer from car to car bit so easy to click in with the isofix.

We have a summer cover on, however it only comes in light blue. Would be great if they came in more of a range but not really a big deal.

This has been one of my favourite purchases, excellent and easy to use, comfortable for my child and will last a long time. Easy swival motion helped with my bad back and makes life mush easier when parked in a carpark where cars are closely parked together. Removable and washable cover is handy.

We spent a long time thinking about the type of car seat we should get. When we saw this one it seemed perfect. I struggle with my back at times so not having to twist myself to get baby in an out is perfect. The infant insert was brilliant for bringing her home in. It’s a good solid, sturdy car seat and once it’s in your car you’re all set. It also will last her a long time which was another consideration when weighing up cost....”do we spend a little more now on one that will last longer or buy a cheaper one and need to replace it in a few months?”
The only thing I would say is, for me, I think the head rest could have been a bit more padded but baby has never complained and it’s never been an issue (babies always seem so tiny at first in car seats.
All in all I love this seat! My daughter is happy and safe in it and my back is exceedingly happy! The rotation and recline are smooth and easy to navigate to make sure baby is in the correct position and the drop down leg is a great idea, really adds that extra firmness and stability you want when diving on the roads. Nice one Britax

Although more pricey at first brilliant value for money if you think this is the only seat your child will need until they’re in school!

So easy to use once installed and makes me feel my child is truly safe.

The covers are easy to clean but the straps not so easy.

Very heavy so not idea to move from cR to car on a daily basis.

We have been using the dualfix 360 for a month now and we are really pleased with it. The rotating seat makes getting the baby in and out of the car so much easier, and is really easy to use. The seat is comfortable and should last for quite some time in an extended rear facing position.

Love our Britax Romer 360 dualfix car seat. Got on offer at mothercare and was something we had considered carefully. We wanted a rotating car seat to save mummy’s back and compared major trusted brands. We have gone on to recommend this car seat to our friends and 2 of them have bought one off our recommendations.
Easy to get baby toddler in and out as the car seat rotates a full 360 degrees, so can go on either side of the car. Seat can be tilted for 0-13kg and 9-18kg so much less chance of your child falling asleep with their chin on their chest.
0-13kg setting only rear faces for safety reasons and 9-18kg can be facing the rear or the front on parents choosing. Our major reason for buying this was so our little girl could face backwards for as long as possible before the law made this compulsory.
Covers are easy to remove, wash and replace.
    Excellent car seat
  • 5.00/5
    • Strengths:

This car seat is great, it’s easy to fit to the car (and then remove again when cleaning). The option to turn the seat to put your child in saves you from twisting and hurting your back.
Can rear face up to 4 years (or 18kg) generally just feels sturdy when placed, very little rocking and feels like it would serve well in an accident (they are tested up to 70mph as well!).
It’s easy to get the seat covers off and they can be washed in the washing machine in the event of a child explosion. They then go back on easily.
It’s easy to tighten the straps and not easy for your child to untighten them (which I found out was possible with another car seat recently!!).
The seat can be tilted back easily for a sleepy ride.
Be prepared to explain to the hospital that the car seat doesn’t leave the car. It was 3 years ago but the hospital had a rule that babies can only leave in car seats. Ours was super safe on the car but not one you can carry a baby around in.
Which brings me to because the car seat stays in the car there isn’t the temptation to leave them in the car seat to sleep (which is not safe). If you practice your ninja skills you can get them out of the car seat with out waking them.
