I regret I didn't buy this seat earlier for my son, as I originally used a different seat.
The Eclipse is a great seat, and my son looked very comfortable even on long journeys. He could sleep comfortably in it, with the reclined position. - Strengths:

Since my son have this car seat,he love to travel in the car. Safety straps are very well made. Easy to fit in the car. Good thing about it is the seat regulation from seating position to sleeping position. I wouldn't change it for any car seat. - Strengths:

I bought this for my son when he was 2 years of age and he is 3 now and still uses this carseat for everyday use! He loves his seat and finds it comfortable. If he falls asleep i can recline him which is an advantage. Only cons i found were in the summer months because the weather gets warmer the material is all black so attracts the heat also it cannot be used rear facing. This is a brilliant car seat we have used it now for approx 3 years had no issue with it, one slight flaw is now my son is older he can wiggle his arms out of the straps. - Strengths:

I have had one of these car seats for each of my children as no other car seat compares. The product is extremely sturdy and tightens into the car super tight using the seat belt, which is very reassuring. Even though it is very sturdy, it is also quite lightweight meaning it's easy to get in and out of the car. This car seat is brilliant value for money as there is so much growing space in it. My 2 eldest children have used it from 9 months until 4 years old with plenty of room left. It it very easily cleaned also, with the cover coming off.Read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this car seat. We purchased it first in 2016 for our eldest daughter and we found it so easy to fit and simple to use that we purchased another in 2017 for our youngest daughter.Read more

I brought this car seat for my little one when he was 12 months old. I went into mothercare and they fitted a few car seats into my tiny fiat 500 and this one was the one that fitted best. I tried my little one in it and he seemed very comfortable and ever since he loves it. It looks great in my car and not too bulky and it’s easy to take my little one in and out and easy to tighten and loosen the straps. I have washed this once and it’s very easy to take the cover off and put back on. It was a little tricky to fit into my car the first time but now I know how to do it it’s very quick and simple. We had a difficult decision to make when buying a 3rd car seat. We wanted all 3 children in the second row due to the boot not opening from the inside and the children not old enough to unbutton themselves in the case of an emergency. The britax eclipse gave us that opportunity. And it is the only car seat on the market(that I found) that could offer this in a car with only a lap belt. It felt sturdy and secure. My daughter hated her rear facing car seat. She would scream from point a to point b with no break. But when she was transferred into this seat it was like a dream come true. Bought this seat for my one and a half year old son, bought from our local Halfords store. It was simple and easy to secure into my car following the instructions. Has three reclining positions for when baby falls asleep. Comes with all the extra padding needed and can be removed as little one grows. Great car seat. Very easy to use. Has a reclining function which is great when your baby/toddler is tired as stops their hesd falling forward. Has the seat belt holder so you can easily put the baby in the seat without having to rummage around for the belt under their bottom. Merge used this chair instead of another high cost branded swivel chair we had as this one is light to move, easy to insert and reclines easily for sleepy toddlers. We have two cars that we use and we also need to take flights during the summer so it was essential we own a chair that wasn’t cumbersome yet still extremely safe. It’s a bit tricky to get in and out, but if it’s going to be on your car long term then it’s perfect. The belts and clips for the baby are easy to use and feel really strong and secure. The seat doesn’t move around once secured. Fortunately we have not had a crash with her in the car, but we feel confident that she is in the safest place if we ever had a situation like that. - Strengths:

The car seat is lovely and comfortable, my son is 2.5 years old and still has loads of room in it. It’s got impact side shields which is also brilliant too. This is a great car seat as long as once it is installed you do not take it out often as it is heavy, large and bulky. I do feel more secure placing a baby in these larger ones then the small portable ones. - Strengths:
