We bought this alarm shortly after our son was admitted into hospital because he stopped breathing. This alarm provided us a great sense of reassurance that he was ok and that if it happens again then we would be aware. I found it worked great while he didn’t move so much. My son was born premature so he slept a lot at first. But as he got bigger it would fall off and alarm in the night making me panic. We also use reusable nappies so they are thicker than your standard nappies.

We wanted an alarm that would sound on him rather than one which would alert my phone. Since we leave him in crèche sometimes I wanted them to know straight away.

It has great features especially the fact that if they are forgetting to breathe the alarm will vibrate to prompt the baby. This is what my son needed as his breathing issues were linked to his prematurity and reflux.

This gave us much better sleep as I felt that I would know if he was going to stop breathing.

I love this monitor. I couldn't live without it! Wouldn't be able to sleep if we didn't have it. When my son was 8 weeks old he god a bad cold and the alarm alerted me he had stopped breathing. I shot out of bed and give him a shake, and he thankfully took a massive breath. I dread to think what would have happened if we didn't have this. I recommend this to everyone!

I could not live without this. Gives incredible peace of mind at night with a new baby. I couldn't use it for the first 2 months as baby curled up in his sleep but now he stretches out its amazing. Its a little frustrating if the sensor loses contact when holding baby to feed as you have to remove sensor completely to reset. But I like how there is an led which flashes green with each breath and also it turns red if there has been a period where it had to rouse baby. The sensor rouses baby first and if that fails the alarm goes off. It hasn't gone off for us yet (except when I was holding him so I do know it works). Small, lightweight, baby isn't bothered by it At all

When my son started sleeping in his own room I couldn't sleep through worrying. I bought the Snuza and I wondered why I never bought it before.
    There is some problems:
    - When inbetween nappy sizes, it can be difficult to go on the nappy.
    - when nappy if full it pushes the Snuza off, which then sets it off. It's not much of a problem now he stops feeding through the night, but don't know how it would have worked when he was feeding every hour.
    - Not sure if it will be a problem getting on and off on younger babies, who need changing many times through the night

I can only review from 6 months plus and would highly recommend if your a over worrying mum like me ha. Plus extra peace of mind when they are poorly.
