This has been great for my little boy to have some floor time out of my arms. He loves all the bright colours and kicking the piano. Now he’s rolling over and starting to be mobile though he’s not as interested so even though this ‘grows with them’ I doubt it will be used past the 6 months
I think this playmat is great. It plays music as well as allowing my son to create his own sounds by kicking the piano. The Piano is manoeuvrable so as the child learns to sit they can play it with their hands at a different angle. The hanging animals seem to attract my son's attention well and I love that the mat is so easy to wipe or wash. I've actually ended up getting a second mat for at my mum's house.
Originally when my daughter was born I picked up a simple baby gym from Asda. It didn’t sing or do much but it was soft and bright. It became very evident, very quickly, that my little girl had no interest in it.
So I bought this one for Christmas. It’s potentially the greatest thing I’ve bought for her. She loves it. The piano she can take or leave, I rarely put that on, but she adores the toys on the bar and will spend great amounts of time (sometimes a whole half hour) chattering away and pulling on the toys. She loves every one of them. Though the Elephant might be her favourite, they all do something different. Be it sound, movement or texture. And the mirror on top is amazing, especially if you have a vain baby like me who wants to see herself at all times!
The mat itself is bright and easily washed. It’s great for tummy time too as you can take the toys off the bar and attach them to the actual mat to encourage babies to reach and grab.
It is rather expensive though. I paid £30 before Christmas, to then find it in Tesco after Christmas for £17.50. I’d say £20 is reasonable. But honestly for the amount of use I’ve gotten out of it, even if she never looks at it again once she’s mobile, I can’t begrudge the £30!
Lovely play mat. Both my little ones have loved it and spent plenty of hours amused by the toys and the musical keyboard. It's the go to piece when other children visit.
My baby boy loves it he has room to move around on it too. The matt is nice and long so fits nice from head to toe. He like the sound from the piano when kicking his feet on it. The only down side to it is the matt is thin and can be tricky to take off to wash.
Bought this for my little girl due to her kicking & so glad I did. She loves nothing more than to lay kicking the piano making a noise. Now she’s sitting up it’s great that it grows with baby into this.
Great tot my little boy loved it. Bit pricey and can be a bit flimsy the piano bit. But kept my little one entertained for periods of time. Also helped strengthen his legs trying to kick our at the piano.
My little girl is 6 months old and still loves playing on this. Although it's not that big so she is growing out of it. The toys are detacable and it it very light weight and easy to carry. Good stimulation for baby's
I love this product. I found the toys that were removable were very good condition. All the colours are bright which interested my daughter and she is visually impaired so this can be hard to find. The piano part will do her for a long time but at 7 months she is not interested in staying on the mat to play anymore. So the price works out expensive compared with other similar mats. I would recommend to other mums.
My little girl loves this the piano is bright and cheerful the accessories and mirror are great to my daughter loves giggling at her self in the mirror
My little girl is 4 months and has been using this for a month now. She absolutely loves it! I can leave her on it for 40 minutes and she will still be happily kicking away. She likes making the noises herself by kicking the piano. Highly recommended!
My son loves this product he loves to get a reaction from kicking it and the song changes. Im not sure if his a little heavy footed/handed but I do find when he kicks of pulls the toys it does fall apart alot. (which he finds funny) he is currently20weeks old. I also think the price is high for what it is but good o. A sale price.
Full set of toys that coem with it. Grows as he does. Piano can be taken off to play with somewhere
Weaknesses:
The toys are a little hard to get back into their loops

Got this for my (then) 4month old. He was at the point where nothing seemed to please him.
This is very good quality and i am in love with th e fact that you get a full set of toys (my last one had 5 spaces but only 2 toys :( )
I didn't think he would be that intrested in the piano but it turned out he LOVED the fact that when he kicked somehting exciting happened.
The piano its self is very sturdy. It has 2 volume setting (the lowest is quiet enough to watch tv or carry on a convo) I love the fact that the piano can change position, what is fantastic as he is learning to sit up. You can also take the piano off all together what woderful when going to the grandparents.
The mat is very fast to wash and dry. The coours are amazing and encouraged himn to roll over so he could take a better look. My only complaint with the mat is it is a little fiddly to take off and put back on. As long as you have both hands free you will manage though :)
The toys are amazing he loves putting the different textures in his mouth.
Over all i would say this is well worth the money i paid.
My daughter is 5 months and a baby who needs constant entertainment. This toy with its sounds and rattles does just that. She can play on it for ages without getting bored and even her 2 year old brother wants a turn!
This is amazing for my little girl the only problem is the mat is small and the piano doesnt lay flat other than that it is great keeps baby entertained for hours
Bought this for my so who was kicking a lot, it keeps him entertained for a considerable amount of time.
Like the fact that it adjusts as he grows so will last a while too.
10 week old starting to love lying on this playmat now, he's a real kicker so piano at end is great as he activates sounds. My baby is long for age so not sure how long he will get lying on the mat. Got it to grow with him so hopefully when sitting up he will still play with piano. One year old nephew came to visit and he had it to and loved playing with the toys. Lovely bright colours and so far its easy to wipe of any stains with a wipe.
Bought this for my LO she absolutely loves it! It’s great for little kickers she loves to.kick the piano and now she can sit it turns so she can Wack it . It’s great easily portable for on the go . It’s bright and catches her attention and the little toys attached she loves . My only con is that the mat could be a little thicker as I have wooden floor.
But over all great product!
My little one really enjoyed this, but I felt like it could have had more fabric area, it just doesn't have a lot of rolling around space. I did love the piano part though. It changed positions which made this last so much longer because it continued to be useful as my LO got bigger and could sit up. It was a great toy and would keep him distracted, but not the best play mat.
It's very stimulating. It's cheap. Toys are detachable.
Weaknesses:
Not very big and mat a little thin.

I bought this when I was pregnant with my daughter. When she was born it was a perfect little play mat to use for stimulating her. What I loved most is as she grew out of it, I could detach the toys including the piano so she could still play with them. The only downfall was that the mat itself is a little thin and we had tiled flooring but I fixed this problem by just folding up a big blanket beneath it for extra comfort. I also found this mat helpful for practising tummy time. Over all this was a good purchase as lasted longer expected, She still plays with the piano (she's 2 now). Oh and we also used to remove the mirror and attach it to her pram and she used to loved that as a baby!
This gets used most days by my son he loves kicking the piano and grabbing the toys above his head. It's simply to move the toys about from the bar on the toy to the Matt which is encouraging his movement. We haven't played the piano when sitting yet but it's easy to move it to this position
For the price this is a good musical play gym to purchase. The theme of the play gym itself can be suitible for either baby boy or girl. This product can be used from birth and has lots of soft features for sensory use.
There is a yellow sun mirror that can be positioned in several places.
The keyboard feature itself which the baby kicks can be a little difficult to kick to play music. It is hard plastic so I'm not too sure how comfortable this actually is for the child. It has a variety of different tunes to play.
As the child gets older the keyboard can be removed from the gym and used as a carry toy.
Over all this is quick and easy to put together but can feel a little flimsy. The mat itself is made from thin material so I used extra blankets underneath.
Baby is more interested as something happens when they kick

This product is really good. We have had other play mats and baby has lost interest but with this one as she kicks she gets a reaction teaching her that she can cause a sound.
It's a great buy but it's quite loud
The Fisher-Price Kick 'n' Play Piano Gym is an platform that combines classic gym play with a kick-at musical piano.
This gym is re-positionable to adapt to each of its four modes of play and is designed to grow with your baby until the toddler years.
Suitable from birth.
In the lay and play mode even the youngest babies can kick at the piano keys and look up at a toy-filed arch.
In tummy-time mode the toys can be brought down to the mat thanks to the repositionable links and baby can embark on self-discovery in the large mirror while reaching and grasping at the selection of toys.
In the sit and play mode, the piano swivels up, so baby can comfortably sit and play the piano, for musical fun.
And in the final fourth mode, the piano is designed for transport: a large handle makes it easy for older children to enjoy the piano anywhere.
Five toys are included in the gym; a large sun shaped mirror, an elephant with clackers, rollerball frog, soft crinkle tiger panel with ribbons and a hippo teether.
