I love these bottles as my baby is combi fed, he took to these so well and loves them! The anti colic valves are great, they get rid of a lot of air bubbles compared to normal bottles! I used to use the tommee tippee closer to nature’s bottles but they had so many bubbles in so I chose to try these and was very satisfied! The only downfall is that they have stopped selling the size 2 teats so was unable to buy more! But my baby will be using size 3 soon so it’s not too much of a bother. Highly recommended for people who combi feed or have breastfed.

    • Strengths:

Natural looking teat making it easy for baby to switch between bottle and breast

    • Weaknesses:

With the colic valve at the bottom I just worry more about germs getting trapped

I tried many bottles to be able to combi feed my little one and I've found this one worked the best for us. It still enables baby to use the same sucking technique as they would on the breast unlike over conventional bottles with a natural looking teat. Highly recommend trying if you wish to combi feed

When my son was born severely tongue tied he kept losing weight when being breast fed, so we moved onto formula feeding. We tried many different bottles (Mam, Dr Browns, Tommee Tippee) but found he struggled to take from all of them. These Latch bottles have by far been the best by far! We began with the starter pack but then stocked up on these 240ml bottles when my little boy took from them so well.
My son struggled with reflux to begin with and would be sick many times after feeding. These bottles really helped with that. We also like the large, tall teat as it meant my son (who has a wide latch) didn't have his chin or nose resting on hard plastic whilst feeding, like he did with all the other bottles we tried. The only negative point I have is the blue valve in the bottom gets stuck, so the teat pulls in whist feeding. This being said it hasn't been an issue as I make sure I have a Bobby pin attached to the bag to release it. Also we found this an issue with a couple of the other bottles we tried, so it's not solely an issue with this product.
We've all loved these bottles as a family and are so happy we found them. They are easy to clean, my son looks so comfortable when feeding and they are great at reducing air intake and reflux.

We cannot recommend these bottles enough! I have made many late-night desperation purchases when my baby was screaming for no apparent reason. I was convinced it was colic and was purchasing product after product each night to no avail! However these bottles made a huge difference and our little one is now considerably more comfortable during and after feeding. An absolute bargain and a must have for us!

This is the only bottle I found that mimics the breast. The baby has to work this bottle like the breast, it moves like the breast, it's fab!

My little girl was exclusively breastfed, and still is at 9 months, however I did want to give her a bottle of expressed milk, I tried every bottle and couldn't find one that she would take. I tried the munchkin latch and she latched straight on and took the whole bottle, I don't know what I would have done if I didn't find them as she needed to take a bottle when I leave her. I did have a problem with one of my valves at the bottom of the bottle, it started leaking but I got in touch with munchkin latch and as I hadn't had it long they sent me some new ones out.
They are very easy to clean and transport, only problem is I haven't found many shops that do them and I have got them online, however boots do them online and you can get them ordered into store

The flexibility of the teats on these bottles is great, our daughter will only accept them sometimes but she is a big boob fan. They can be quite hard to find in shops meaning you end up waiting for delivery on online orders.

These bottles are lovely and look beautiful. Easy to clean and sterilise. Only downside is that the teats are easily outgrown.

Really like the bottles to start with but teats getting sucked in a lot when my baby feeds with stage 1 so did purchase stage 2 and gave my baby really bad wind and tummy pain so gone back to stage 1 as he’s only 5 weeks old anyway. Do like how the tests move. Bit awkward to wash bottles with the ridges in the teats and valves.

Description

The Munchkin LATCH™ bottle was inspired by the breastfeeding experience. The accordion-style teat on the LATCH™ bottle stretches like a breast, encouraging baby's natural latch.

During breastfeeding, baby controls the flow: the LATCH™ bottle mimics that phenomenon by releasing more breast milk when baby puts pressure against the teat's base.

While feeding, the accordion-style teat flexes as baby's head moves. This enables baby to maintain a latch, limiting the ingestion of air.

The anti-colic valve at the bottom of the LATCH™ bottle means breast milk can flow while preventing air bubbles.

Experts agree that the easiest transition happens when bottle flow and mother's flow are the same. The LATCH™ Stage 1 teat's flow has been designed to mimic the flow from the breast. Stage 2 and 3 are also available, so you can increase the flow as your baby grows.
