Main plus is anti-colic feature. Any swallows much less air and my daughter was a lot more comfortable after feeding than with other bottles. Good test and strong plastic. Doesn’t stain when cleaned. Lots of bits to clean which can be a little fiddly/time consuming but well worth it for the comfort it brings to baby. Would definitely recommend for a baby that struggles to bring up wind. For older babies probably not so worthwhile investing in.

This is a great sturdy bottle built for colicky babies. The teat is flexible and moves with babies movements this is fantastic. Easy to clean comes with a brush for the vent. We love these bottles. Great value.

For the price I paid for this product and the popular brand I was not impressed at all. The only positive is it is seen to improve colic but I didn’t use it long enough to find out!
So hard to clean due to the straw-like feature, chunky so you need a big sterliser and would always leak!

These were the only bottles to help my son with colic. They seem to be more expensive than most other brands. They are a pain to clean with the inner tube. Also if you put boiling water in they seem to leak!

This helps our son with his reflux and seems to control the flow better than other brands. However it is a bit more fiddly to wash and takes up more space in the steriliser. It also leaks occasionally but just needs putting together again

My son suffered with terrible colic and after trying a few different bottles we switched to these. We soon saw a marked improvement. The vent system seems effective and although initially they seem a bit fiddly, the bottles are quite easy to put together. I found them a little big for some sterilisers and insulated bottle bags, but that’s only a minor gripe. I found they occasionally leaked if the contents were quite hot. To avoid this you can loosen the teat collar one-half turn after heating to allow the pressure to equalise. Then, re-tighten it before feeding. We upped the teat size a few times and removed the vent system, and with these tweaks the bottles have served us well for an entire year. Good value for money, in my opinion.

My 3 month old daughter had been suffering colic and reflux. We’d been to the doctors who changed formula, etc and it wasn’t helping!
They said by 6 months it would pass, but it’s awful seeing your little one in pain!
We went to a drop in and spoke with the health visitors they suggested the colic formula. So we switched and this did reduce it, she was calmer.

My mum had been doing a bit of reading on mumsnet and came across Dr Browns anti colic bottles. At £14.99 for 2 bottles and £4.99 for 2 teats it was a pricey job, but we went and got 2! Once we started using the bottles the colic stopped! We have the occasional time but are so glad we went and got theses bottles!
Plus they grow with her which is a bonus, considering the cost!

The downside is, we have a Nuby microwave steriliser and it’s hard to fit 2 bottles in at a time! Also they’re a squeeze in our insulated part of the change bag!!

Found these bottles very good as my kid took to these with complete ease. Didn't have any collic issues for most of the past 6 months (out of 8). Most importantly with these dont spill milk unlike in some other bottles that i used. Very helpful. Did face minor issues in the Colic cap fitting well. But it settles in with the lid fixed so not a trouble.

Takes a long time to feed, 45 mins for 6oz
    Very big and bulky,
Need to prepare bottle with out centre bit in the insert after bottle cooled otherwise milk spurts out all over

Well it's as they say the proofs in the pudding.
Dr Brown bottles worked wonders for my baby, she suffered terrible with colic and projectile vomiting since using Dr Brown's the vomiting has completely gone and the colic is so little we hardly notice if she has it.
The bottle does leak When it gets too hot.
It's a big chunky and not the prettiest but does the job.
I would love if it could self steralise but that's the only down side for me.
    Great bottle 09/10.

We switched to these bottle after our previous ones got very frothy and our little one spilt a lot out her mouth. She also suffered with quite bad wind. These bottles really helped! The only thing I would say is don’t mix milk with freshly boiled water and that’s when it can leak and mix with lid off. If we do that we have no problems.

I love my Dr Brown's, my little one didn't take to tommee Tippee bottles and suffered horrendously with colic, ones swapping to Dr Brown's she took to the bottle very well and the colic was reduced! I will say one downfall is that they can leak when shaking them up to make feeds, other than that I'm very happy with my purchase!.

These bottles are great. They come apart easily for cleaning, help reduce colic and wind and the teats are good.
Bottle aren't very pretty though and a little "clumpy". Powder tends to stick to the rim.

Great for colic, not the cheapest rarely find any deals on this brand. Only prob is they can leak I had to get new air vents. You can't shake the bottle either you have to swirl it to mix the formula as that makes it leak.

I purchased a twin pack of these bottles when my son was suffering badly from colic. These bottles came highly recommended and I have recommended them to others myself. My son drank comfortably from these and helped him with his colic. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the price but I do think that they work well so it depends on the person I guess.

Well what can I say about these bottles except they are amazing!
My daughter really struggled with colic and wind when she was newborn and we tried multiple brands. When talking to our dog walker about our problems she recommended these and we haven’t looked back! It was instant and the relief was all over her face!
Now she’s 6 months the size is fine but they did look quite large compared to her when she was newborn.
They also come with a mini pipe cleaner brush which makes washing them up super easy. The teat age suggestions are fairly true to age as well, as we transitioned onto level 2 at roughly 3 months although my daughter is now 6 months but isn’t quite ready for the flow of level 3.
These bottles are worth every single penny!!!

I purchased these but find they always leak when I have the vent in. They definitely aren’t for me. Other people have purchased and swear by them. But I just can’t seem to get mine to not leak. Even though I’ve tried screwing the lid on tight, loosening the lid, checking the vent and teat. Still leaks on me.

When pregnant I purchased nuby bottles and some Tommee Tippee incase breastfeeding didn’t work out. When baby was born i breastfed however she had tongue tie which meant she had a bad latch and I struggled to feed her so switched to bottles. The bottles I had didn’t agree and we were told dr brown bottles were good.

These have really helped her and she now has very little wind, she was able to latch onto them fine despite her tongue and lip tie.

They are on the pricey side and can be a faff to wash with the vent system.

Replacement parts are readily available as are bigger Teats.

I don’t like the design as they are quite long so are harder for baby to hold as they get older because the weight is distributed differently to a shorter bottle however this bottle does work well for us and would use on my next baby if bottle fed.

I wouldn’t use any other bottles, when I was pregnant I researched into loads of brands of bottles, as I wasn’t going to breast feed, so I wanted to find the best, my daughter has used these bottles since she was born til now (10 months) and I haven’t had any problems with colic or reflux and definitely think these bottles are the reason. There is different teats to move up with baby’s age or with their needs. I would highly recommend these bottles, I wouldn’t bother with the smaller size of bottle though because you will need to move up to the bigger size anyway when baby is taking more.

Got one of these bottles from my health visitor to try and I’m not keen. They are not easy to clean and lid is very difficult to put on and take off .
You can’t make up a bottle from freshly boiled water as when shaken to mix formula the liquid leaks out of the top. Not a very good design and much prefer my other brand.

Description

Designed like the original Dr Brown's bottles, these feature the same innovative vent system to help prevent young babies from swallowing air and developing colic. The Dr Brown's Options+ Anti-Colic 270ml Baby Bottle vent can then be removed for older babies who can continue to enjoy feeding from their familiar bottle, but using it like a more traditional vented bottle.

Features:

- The unique Dr Browns internal vent eliminates the vacuum and air bubbles in the feed (often associated with conventional vented bottles) helping reduce colic and burping. - Internal Vent System and Silicone Teat work together allowing a controlled flow so baby can feed at their own pace.

- The internal vent and silicone teat are highly engineered to provide consistent milk flow.

- For older babies whose feeding is more developed, you may remove the vent system allowing baby to feed form a more convential vent teat bottle

- 9 out of 10 Healthcare Professionals recommend Dr Browns for the relief of wind related colic.
