We played with this recently at a childcare centre and my son was very entertained by it.
The fabric book is lightweight so at 9 months old he could easily hold it and turn the pages. The pages crinkle like crisp packets and one of the pages has a squeak in it. The pirate ‘horace’ is a lovely addition to the book but can be played with separately, it’s lovely and colourful as you can expect from Lamaze and it has a bell inside so baby can hear it when playing.
While it is a lovely toy I do think it’s too expensive for what it is but it’s the brand that pushes the price up I guess.

Description

Lamaze Listen And Match Storytime Book: Meet Yo Ho Horace a very special book that’s ideal for little hands to hold.

Horace is made from delightfully soft fabric that is a treat for baby to hug.

It features many different textures for your infant to discover, stimulating the sense of touch. The pages crinkle and squeak when squeezed and when Horace gets shaken, baby will hear bell sounds.

Read together and watch your child match Horace’s textures and sounds to the book.

The vibrant colours and pictures will help baby's eyes focus.
