We love our that’s not my collection books! However this one was a bit special due to our love of unicorns in this household. The pages are iridescent pink on the outside. Such pretty illustrations and sparkly. It’s a magical read. My baby does engage with these books

I love the that's not my... Book range. I have that's not my angel and my daughter loves it. She enjoys feeling the different textures from being squashy, to feeling rough. It's great to introduce children to textures.
I do like these books, however in some book stores I have found them to be quite expensive. Other than that I don't have a problem with the books or anything. My baby loves them, so happy baby happy mummy.

Brilliant books that are great with younger babies to keep them engaged.
My boy like flipping through these himself and feeling all the pages aswell as them being read to him.
We have the penguin and the dog version. The penguin defiantly doesn’t have as good sensory elements, a lot of shiney things do not as touchy feely as the fluffy dogs!
Great price and you can usually find them on offer somewhere.
Loads of variety of the animals.
Very hard wearing, survives being chewed a lot!

These books are brilliant, bright colourful pictures and a new textile on each page for baby to feel and play with. Love the variety of animals (and others - we have a snowman!) available. They also withstand a fair amount of going in baby’s mouth with is always handy!

We love all the ‘that’s not my’ series of books! They are very engaging and due to the series all being similar this really teaches the child to learn and remember what’s coming next. They also love to feel all the different textures.

My baby loves this book we also have the bunny version, but for my sanity no more! She loves the pictures and different textures and I put in crazy voices so guess that helps keep her interested! For me it’s a bit repetitive and boring, but it’s all about the baby and she loves it so I’m happy! Would recommend to other parents because of the interest for babies with textures and colours!

We have a few of these books and we all love them. They are lovely short books and my daughter and I enjoying taking it in turns to read them, with them being short she doesn't feel pressured into reading too much. She loves the feel of the different textures on each page. There are fluffy, bumpy, fuzzy, silky and rough to name a few. At almost 5 YO my daughter still enjoys these books every now and again.

I have bought a couple of these ready for my little girls first birthday and I love them. The have textures to touch on the pages and are very colourful and easy to read when little one is a little older. Nice for baby to look at and durable as the pages are nice and thick. Only thing I’d say is that depending on where you buy them, they can be expensive. I managed to get a couple from Aldi in the baby event but I have seen them in other shops at double the price or even more which is just silly.

We love these books! We first received one from going to see santa with my first daughter and we have grown our range ever since. They are bright and fun to read. The children love the different textures.
My 10 month old loves to chew on them but they are hard-wearing and my 4 year old finds it easy to read them as they are repetitive.
Overall a really good find and we love getting more to add to the collection

That's not my books, are just great, they are filled with lovely textures that stimulate the littles senses, as well as the lovely pictures of the animals as well. These have been a favourite in my house since my little baby was 3 months old! He's always reached for these books and loved all the different textures, he's always known just where to touch. These books are also well made and sturdy, and take quite a beating with my now 12 month old too haha!

Each of my daughter's have loved the books in this range and with baby number 3 being another girl and 2 unicorn obsessed big sisters, this book was always going to be a hit. Perfect sibling bonding activity, brilliant for young children and babies teaching basic concepts like texture and a great entry to reading.

I first discovered the That's not my range of books when my daughter was born 9 years ago, I sold them because i didn't think i would have be blessed with another baby.
However, when my son came along 8 months ago I began to build up our book collection and this was the first one we bought. We have a collection of about 10 That's not my books and i buy them from my Usbourne agent, who sometimes has them on offer.
The books are very tactile, hardwearing, and very bright and engaging.
These are a firm favourite for the whole family to use with our son and he loves stroking the tactile pages.

My daughter loves thats not my... books. We have a few! Its more than a story book and it actively involves the child and gets them speaking about it and feeling the different textures. I find its also more entertaining for me as a parent than the average story book that you flick through endlessly as your child just stares at the pages. My daughter looks through her books on her own and its always a thats not my..

Such engaging and colourful books for young children. My daughter loves these and I don’t know a child who doesn’t! The unicorn one is one of my daughters favourites as it has the added element of sparkles! We have lots of these books now and we can’t get bored of them as they all differ so much!

Description

Usborne books presents their range of children reading 'That's Not My....'

Every double page of the book has an interesting texture to feel, such as bumpy teeth or slippery flippers, as your child explores the surface of the animals. Combined with simple text and illustrations this is meant to help very young children develop sensory and language awareness.
